Catamaran Snorkel Adventure To El Cielo And The Money Bar Beach

This was a ton of fun. It felt like a great value for how long we were out on the water. The drinks were strong and the ceviche was fresh and delicious. Honestly a great time with great guides and great vibes.

When we showed up for our trip, they switched the catamaran on us to a ski boat. Not what we paid for nor what we wanted. My mom had a very hard time getting in and out of the boat on a tiny ladder by the engines. Completely ruined the relaxing vibe of a catamaran day for us. Loud, bumpy boat throwing us around. I specifically looked for a catamaran trip. Guides were nice. Reefs are dead. No color, barely any fish. Not the Cozumel of previous years. Coral reef is brown and green. Not much around down there.

After a bumpy start at port, we ended up really enjoying this trip. The catamaran was very nice, drinks plentiful, lunch was tasty, saw dolphins 🐬swimming along with the boat! And even a whale 🐋 passed by while on the beach! 🏝️ Snorkeling was fun, lots of beautiful fish 🐠. A word of caution, no shoes on the boat so it can get slippery. The photo packages are nice! But if you don’t want them, just say so. 👍🏻

What a great experience! The catamaran itself was fantastic, and the crew couldn't have been better. The freshly prepared ceviche they made and served onboard was excellent, and the margaritas were surprisingly good (and strong!). The highlight was our time at the sandbar, where an enormous stingray made four separate passes right by us in the shallow, crystal-clear water. Absolutely incredible to see one that close! At $80 per person with everything included, we thought this excursion was an outstanding value. We'd absolutely do it again. Highly recommended!

The crew was very friendly and attentive. We have been on this boat with this crew several times through the years. The boat has had some major improvements since our last visit several months ago. I highly recommend this tour.

It was great overall! We had a great time. We were almost late because the GPS address wasnt accurate. A local directed us in the right direction. Otherwise, we would of missed the tour.

It was a very nice experience it was my first time celebrating my birthday.

The trip was excellent! We had a ton of fun snorkeling and sightseeing on the boat. They took us to multiple distinct spots and we saw plenty of fish and other sea creatures! They provided life vests and snorkel equipment and allowed people to dive on their own without if they wanted. Overall highly recommend for a good snorkeling tour in the beautiful clear waters of El Cielo!

Lots of fun and the crew is great. The ceviche on board is amazing. The snorkeling itself is cool though when we went there weren’t many fish (tho starfish yes) but eating lunch and just enjoying everything in the sand bar is amazing

The whole excursion was great! Juan, Pedro and the gang were awesome. An experience my family and I will never forget. The Money Bar Beach club was nice too!

The catamaran was promised in the tour. Due to only having four passengers sign up they put us on a 24’ bow rider boat. The three person crew was nice and friendly. Upon boarding they photographed us together with what appeared to be airline life vests on, then took them away. Ocean was very rough and choppy with four foot waves. They only provided snorkeling masks and snorkel. Fins were needed to maneuver in the water. When asked if they had floatation devices to aid in swimming the crew said No. Treading water for over 30 minutes without floatation or fins was challenging. Getting back into the small boat from the rough waters was arduous at best. Your ad also failed to say it is a $20 taxi ride each way and nothing is provided at the Money Bar. I would not recommend this excursion as provided.

Had the best time with Top Cozumel Tours, our guides were awesome, music was the best and food was great!! Met lots of cool people. Highly recommended. The water was really clear and you see a lot of marine life on the reefs, including sting rays when you stop for lunch.

We had a GREAT time. We got a little storm but that just made it more special. The catamaran was not full like other boats we saw. The crew was amazing and did everything they could to make it a memorable experience for us all.

My friend and I really enjoyed our experience and that’s considering the monsoon we had to go through on the way back. Pros: * the spots we went to were beautiful and were a nice mix of deep, mid, and shallow waters that just got more and more gorgeous the shallower we got. *The food and drink were delicious and for those nervous about eating ceviche from the sides of a boat in the heat (like I was), it was delicious and they also had fresh mango and pineapple as well as many non-alcoholic options for drinks. *The boat had bathrooms and lots of storage area. *There were 3 men running the excursion and they were all very nice. *The one guy captures great candid as well as staged photos and will take pictures of anything you would like. I’m so glad he did this as there were so many awesome photos to take but all of none turned out blurry using my iPhone inside a waterproof lanyard. He does offer several options to purchase the digital photos and it’s quick and easy to do. The photos are worth it! *At the last stop you get super up close to stingrays and other fish. We got to experience a family of stingrays tickling our feet (easy enough to Keri them away though if you are not into this). Cons: *We had to pay $17 (with tip) to take a 15 minute taxi ride to the meeting point and then $13 (I believe) more to enter the Money Bar Beach Club where the dock was. We then paid another $20 (with tip) to get back to our ship. Pickup should have been included. *It took over an hour in the boat to get to our first stop (and an hour to get back at the end). We had a stop midway where we picked a couple of people up that we had to wait for. Tips: *Try to see if there are any other people going so that you can share the taxi fees. *Ask about having less time at the first stop and more at the last. I felt like we could have used more time at the last stop and had a little too much time at the first stop. This isn’t to say I felt rushed, it’s just that the last stop was just so beautiful and the first stop, while beautiful, has you expending a lot of energy while in the water, so it’s not as relaxing as the last stop. *Wear sunscreen (reef safe) and apply more when you get to the last stop. I wore sunscreen but I guess it wore off by the time we got to the last stop so I unknowingly got super burned on the top half that was out of the water. *Bring a towel. This will help to provide cushion for the long boat ride and will come in handy if you need to cover up during a storm or use on the platform hammocks to keep from getting a checkerboard pattern on your skin.

We had such a fun day on this excursion! We were visiting Cozumel on a cruise, and it was very easy to get a taxi from the cruise port to The Money Bar. Our taxi was $15, and getting there was simple. Once we boarded the catamaran, our first stop was for snorkeling, where we saw lots of tropical fish. We then went to another beautiful area to snorkel where we saw tons of sea stars in the clear water. That was definitely one of the highlights of the day! Our last stop was in a gorgeous shallow-water area, where we were able to get in the water, relax and just enjoy the scenery. The crew prepared fresh fish ceviche and cut-up fruit, along with margaritas and rum runners while we hung out. The combination of snorkeling, seeing the sea stars, beautiful water, food and drinks made this a really fun and relaxing day in Cozumel. We would definitely recommend this excursion! 🐠⭐🌊🍹

Arrival instructions are very clear. We came from a Royal Caribbean cruise book 2 trip advisor. You spent a lot of time in the ocean snorkeling, and then another almost hour on this beautiful sandbar beach area. Snacks and drinks they offered were really good. Tour guide and improved. We’re very helpful and nice and took amazing pictures. For what comes with the tour I think the price was very worth it. Overall, very great experience.

We had an absolutely amazing experience exploring Cozumel with them! We traveled as a family with our two children, ages 1 and 5, and they made the entire day so special, comfortable, and enjoyable for all of us. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, patient with the kids, and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. We visited beautiful places, had so much fun, and came home with incredible photos and memories that we will treasure forever. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Cozumel. Thank you both for making our family experience so unforgettable! We would absolutely recommend them to anyone visiting the island, especially families traveling with children. We can’t wait to come back!

This was a fantastic excursion! 3 snorkeling sites, respected sealife, most beautiful waters you'll ever see in your life! You do have to wear the safety vest for the trip even if you are an experienced diver. You ARE allowed to dive down as long as you don't touch anything. My mom didn't snorkel and she still had a wonderful time. Apply sunscreen beforehand , cannot apply while on boat. Suggest long sleeves and leggings as there are some tinier jellyfish that can sting (only I got a little sting, lasts a second). They serve drinks at the last stop on a surfboard! 10/10, as a travel advisor I will absolutely recommend this excursion to my clients.
