The atv trip was ok. The area was not all that great. The clear boat tour was amazing and the crew did a great job. The snorkeling was not what I heard Cozumel offers but we were limited in time so it was understandable.

Awesome time - treated like VIPs. As we have a lot of ATV experience already instructor kept it fun for us! Snorkeling really cool too- some great coral and fishies to see in Cozumel.
Had a blast. Alexis was our tour guide. He stay with us the whole time. We messed our clear boat ride to make of for it he rode us around and showed us around Cozumel. The Atvs was fun. He even took pictures of us. They pay for lunch at the beach resort.
Out travel guider Daniel was the best. they guys that did the glass boat was awesome as well. Over all me and my husband really enjoyed our self
Good taking care of the big group, we haven't ride in a clear boat before which it was great experience, see the fish through this, its beautiful , as well as snorckeling ..really good. I just want to suggest: 1. feed the fish under the water to have the chance to see more on the boat or snorckeling. 2. To Viator: on your website, please make sure that the meeting point with the excursion guide in Cozumel be RIiGH for whose are coming for the Cruise ..there are different ports depents of the Cruise lines. We got this good excursions out of the Royañ Caribbean offers and i was sure days before , calling the ecxursion place because the directions on the Web and even by phone didn't correspond with the Cruise Port.
My wife, son (16) and myself came in on a cruise and were excited to give this excursion a try. They had never driven an ATV and it would be a new experience. We booked on Viator weeks prior. Here is a summary of how it went.... (also keep in mind my wife is fluent in spanish and was able to remove any language barrier issues) We met Victor at a 7-11 about a 5min walk from the cruise port exit. We didn't know to meet there until I emailed the company the night before so I am glad I took that initiative since the instructions are vague after you book. Victor was polite and on time. We were the only 3 on the tour and he told us he would be our guide. From there we walked around the corner to the companies travel stand (there were a few other employees with company shirts there. We filled out some paperwork and received wrist bands for the ATVs. We also informed them that we would be skipping the clear bottom boat portion of the trip as we wanted to ensure we had enough time to get back to the port area before the ship left. This caused them some confusion and a phone call or two was needed to figure it out on their end. This also saved us $20 each since we weren't going to the beach/boat area. Ultimately they were ok with the change. After that we got into Victor's car and he drove us about 20min down the road. We came up to a gate with two people standing there in matching shirts, the one lady scanned our wrist bands and the other guy raised the gate. Seemed like an entrance to a park/living area as there were small shanty houses and an overall village like atmosphere. We passed a place in there that Victor pointed at and said "we will stop here for a tequila tasting after the ATVs" which we thought was a nice added on bonus we did not expect. Of course I figured there would be some pressure sales from it but more on that later. We arrived at the ATV staging area which was really just a dirt crossroad with two shantys acting as an "office". There were maybe 10 ATVs scattered around and a few people coming and going on other ATV tours. Victor directed us to our ATVs and an employee that was handling them. He then said "ok two on this one and one on that one". Now having read the reviews of this excursion before, I kind of expected this. Other customers complained that they did not know they would be paired up. I looked at Victor and said "no, we paid for 3 riders" to which he replied that the reservation says 2 riders and 1 passenger. NO WHERE on the booking on Viator does it give those options so this is clearly an attempt to reduce usage of the ATVs. To save gas? To rent out to others? They overbooked? Who knows, but regardless, who wants to ride on the back when you paid to actually drive one?! So trying to find an agreement, I offered a subtle "how much to make sure we get 3 ATVs" to Victor, knowing money talks in Mexico. He made another phone call. He then gets off the phone and says "sorry, he has to be 18" to which we reply, "he has his license". Another phone call. Finally they agree to give us the 3rd ATV at no additional cost. Again, my wife speaks spanish so this certainly was helpful during the negotiations. Victor started each of our ATVs for us which were ALL in terrible shape. These things hadnt been cleaned in years and I am surprised they didnt break down on us during the ride. We put on nasty/stink helmets and he then led us down the dirt road. We went down one dirt road (you need a face mask, we brought our own) and then turned on to the paved main road. Passed the two people at the gate we came through. Turned around, went back down the main road and again through the gate. Then went down another dirt road, turned left, turned right. Really no set trail or direction, just random turns by Victor. We eventually went out into an open circular lot that clearly used to be some sort of building that was cleared out. The whole area looked like a construction site. Lots of dust which we were all covered in at the end. But we were enjoying the experience and ignored most of the unsightliness. We then turned down another road which turned into some trails through a wooded area. This was probably the best part of the whole ride, bumps, inclines, a fun trail. We eventually arrived at an area in the woods where there were at least 30 ATVs scattered around from other tours. This was a Cenote viewing area, again a nice touch that we didnt expect. We got off and explored the water/cave area from above for about 10min. Some people were jumping into the cenote from other tours which looked really fun, but we later saw all of the bats in the cave, all of their poop was falling into the water. Not ideal and potentially hazardous for swimmers. Got ate up by mosquitos and then left on the ATVs. We rode back down the trail in the woods, back into the circular area, back through the left/right town area and back into the ATV staging area. All told we were on ATVs for maybe an hour tops! Not really ideal but whatever.. We got back into Victor's car and started to drive out of the town area when he stopped at the tequila place he mentioned earlier. I wasnt really interested in buying anything but figured why not, lets taste some and throw them some tips. We were led into an outdoor greeting room by I am guessing the manager/curator of this so called "Tequila Museum" for Regalo de Dios. He sat the 3 of us down and proceeded to teach us about tequila and where this specific brand comes from. He was a very nice man and seemed very knowledgeable. Honestly it was a nice "class". He then led us to an air conditioned room where the tasting samples were set. He proceeded to give each of us (even my 16yr old son, which we were ok with) a small shot of each of the bottles he had displayed. They were ALL delicious. My son even enjoyed them. This changed our minds from not wanting anything to wanted to get a bottle. We purchased the "7yr old Anejo" bottle for $119. When we went to the counter, the bottle was prewrapped in carboard and tape which should have been the first clue. But thinking nothing of it and happy for the experience I gave them the cash and we left. We got back in Victor's car and drove back to the meeting area we started at. Said goodbye and went back to the ship. The cruise took the bottle as they always do to hold onto until the end of the cruise. However while we were on the ship I wanted to learn more about the tequila we purchased, mainly, how much should we really have paid. Thats when I see ALL of the terrible reviews for that place and that brand. Turns out its all a bait and switch! What we tasted is not what is in that bottle. We got home and tried it, tasted just like any other crappy tequila on the shelf. Not the delicious smooth tequila we had at the tasting. They got us.... Stupid tourists right? Whatever.. But what does it have to do with the ATV tour? Well Victor led us right into this scam, he knew what we were walking in to. I am sure tours get a cut of anything sold. There are SOOOO many negative reviews out there, its clear this is a racket. Bait and switch tastings. Sorry for the short story but I felt like it all needed to be said. Avoid this excursion. Book through the cruise line if you can so at least you have some recourse after if you get screwed.
Atv along the beach was amazing. It was a full day guided. The snorkeling was also great we saw lots of fish!!
We had so much fun on the ATVS- my boys and husband loved it. Our tour guide was friendly and welcoming. Also loves Motocross- so if you're into that this will work for you. The clear boat was awesome- again our guides Daniel and David were so welcoming and told us about the island while showing us everything under water. Snorkeling was our favorite part, as well as the Tequila tasting!
Beware! These people sent directions in an email when the excursion was purchased. The directions had me take a cab to a ferry and then meet at a scuba shop. I waited there for an hour. No one shows up. I have no Internet and I’m calling a number to find out what’s going on. No one picked up when I get back aboard the ship I see they want me to meet them at 7-Eleven no communication from these people, but they gladly kept our money. Be warned do not deal with these people. I should’ve known something was wrong when these people could not meet us at the port like other excursion companies did. Meet at 7-Eleven really.
Great experience in Cozumel and one of the best ATV rides. I would definitely book again when I go back.
Our guide Sergio was excellent! Very friendly and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately the ATV ride left A LOT to be desired. We were the only ones on that part of the tour, and now I know why. You LITERALLY rode through a dump, yes garbage piles. The ride was rough and there was nothing to see but rocks, dirt, broken down vehicles and large garbage piles. I thought it was more of a jungle / beach ride. Not even close. The clear boat was amazing and a lot of fun. We stopped at a tequila tasting and small tour which was interesting. Lunch was ok...not great. The beach itself was very nice and offered a lot to do. I would do it again ~ less the ATV ride.
Great experience well worth it..everyone was so nice and helpful 👍🏽 10/10 recommend...loved the food and the beach. We did clear boat ride and ATV well worth it
The times were a little all over the place but our tour guide Alexis made sure we got to experience everything. He was awesome!!! Javier & Captin David were Great on the clear boat tour. They were All Good Vibes! Bringing my Husband Next Time
My Family vacation was wonderful. We visited Mr. Sancho it's a really nice place. Plan on returning in June 2024 for Graduation trip.
Best day ever! The kids and I enjoyed every second of this excursion. Our favorite part was the ATVs. Alexis was such a great guide throughout the day! It ended with a great fajita lunch, and some snorkeling and relaxation. This is a must!!!
Great for beginner excursion experience! Very kind tour guides. Good price for all activities included.
While the atv and tequila tasting was a blast, I wish I could’ve given this 5 stars. I did the snorkeling, clear boat tour as well.. however at the end when it came time to view photos taken by the guide when I paid with my Apple Pay through my Apple wallet the lady said it didn’t go through, however I have a charge, usually if it didn’t go through I get a refund within 24 hours to my Apple Pay balance, however it’s been more than 24 hours, and I still have a charge BUT no photos. I reached out via phone to the tour location, they said they had To check accounting. Even though I sent the proof of charge via email, like they advised Me to do when I initially made The purchase. Again, still no photos. This was for my birthday; and I didn’t get any pics in the water, due to me expecting the photos the guide took.
The experience was amazing and so was our guide Armando. He was very knowledgeable and very thorough when it came to answering our questions. Would definitely recommend this tour
The clear boat and snorkeling on this tour was great, saw lots of fish and rode over the sunken ship. Jorge was amazing, and made sure we got to all the meeting points. He was great company and engaged us in conversations. I wasn't a big fan of the atv ride, we had to share one, and being on the back wasn't comfortable. Jorge did take us through some jungle but it was mostly quarry. We did have an extra stop at the tequila factory where we got to taste some and learn how it's made. Our last stop was at the beach club where we had a really nice lunch (chicken fajitas) and got to relax on the beach. Overall, we had a good time.
Because of a change in the weather, heavy rain, we were told that all water activities were cancelled. Originally we were scheduled for a glass bottom boat ride, snorkeling, an Atv ride, Tequlia tasting and then lunch. But because of the rain they gave us much more time on the Atv's while riding through the costal jungle of Cozumel, Tequila tasting on the beach, to which we purchased a few bottles, then to where they make Agave Tequila, more tasting, lol, and then to a beautiful location on the beach for a delicious afternoon lunch. Cizar was our guide for the day and he did an Outstanding job making our day a Great Day in Cozumel!!!
To be fair, the tour did present what was offered, it was just not presented in a great way. It was bring you here, do this, but with no history or context or continuity. I could have gone on a glass bottom boat tour on my own by stopping at the desk on the street and I wouldn't have missed anything. I really just felt like we had hired a driver and not a tour guide and tour company. Drivers were both on their phones while driving the whole way.
Jorge, Danny and Omar were so great, friendly and fun. Tequila and fajitas were delish. Overall, a great day.
This was a great day! We had so much fun and the company met us promptly and we felt taken care of at each stop. It was everything advertised and more!
The excursion was very well organized, and we had a blast! Our guide, Jorge, was fantastic and treated us so well. Jose Carlos, our boat guide, was excellent as well. We felt like we saw a good chunk of Cozumel in just a few hours. We would highly recommend this excursion to anyone!
Not impressed. Not organized and the ride was through what looked like a city dump. The clear boat ride was good. The food was good. The pools were gray and murky.
Snorkeling and the ATV experience were our favorite parts. When we first arrived, things seemed a little unorganized. Our guide wasnt sure where to take us. We thought the ATVs were first, but ended up doing the boat first. The crew on the boat were very nice and helped me with my motion sickness by giving me tips on things that would help. They were very courteous in helping people on and off the boat. After the boat we walked to catch a taxi. We ended up in a taxi with part of a family. Their family was split up. Hopefully they found each other. Our ATV guide was also awesome. Very courteous in opening my door for me and showing us around and tellung us what will happen next and where we need to meet him after our activity. Once the tour was going it was great. Definitely need to keep an open mind when traveling and not stress over things out of our control. Everything will work out.
My family chose this excursion because it's kind of a 6 in 1 experience if you're able to get the full experience. Pros: - Our guide Victor was really cool and down to earth and gave us an AWESOME ATV adventure. It was the most memorable part of the excursion. The terrain is the real deal and you will probably get a little muddy but we loved it! - The Tequila Tour was an extra plus. It was great learning about how Tequila is produced and we now have a greater respect for the process and AUTHENTIC Tequila. - The Clearboat experience was provided through a separate vendor and once we got on the boat the wait was well worth it. It was super windy but so much fun and absolutely breathtaking. It is also a REAL CLEAR BOAT. I've been on others that were a literal circle window in the floor. Also DRINKS ARE INCLUDED. - Having a photographer follow us on our ATVs to take live shots was short of genius and we'll worth the $10 per person they charged for roughly 60 photos. The photos were great quality 👌🏽 Cons: - The ATVs were double occupancy and that wasn't transparent at booking. - There was a small walk from our meeting point to the ATV location so prepare for a bit of walking and paperwork before the fun begins. -The Clearboat experience was with a different vendor that partnered with the host company but it took a full hour before the tour started which was a bit frustrating. If you want to enjoy the beach and skip to lunch, I would skip the Clearboat. - The pickup was pretty smooth to start the ATV tour but we had to call the vendor to send someone to pick us up as no one was waiting for us after the Clearboat tour ended. This caused us to have to meet our family at the beach late and we had to rush to eat our fajitas. The procedure to get your food once you reach the beach isn't very clear either, but the food was very good. Drinks not included. Overall... Even though it wasn't perfect, this was an awesome tour and I highly recommend it. You can tell the owner and the team are hardworking and genuine and the team really accommodated our family by providing scooters, jeeps and other cool cars to transport us as needed. Well worth the value!
Meeting our guide was easy & convenient. We were very disappointed, however, to learn that ATVs were double occupancy. Due to previous ATV tours with other companies, we assumed that each person in our party (each person paid the same full price) would each drive their own ATV, but this was not the case. There were 7 in our party, so 6 had to double up. This was not communicated in this tour’s description. Goggles are not included (& cost extra) & the staffers highly encouraged the purchase of their bandanas to wear around your mouth & neck so some in our group purchased these but they ended up being totally unnecessary. The ATV route & guide (Balthazar) were very good & included an awesome variety of terrains. Also, the photographer, Brian, did an amazing job. Of course digital pictures cost an extra $55 but it was well worth it. Included in this tour we purchased was a clear boat ride & snorkeling. 4 of us were driven to the clear boat office by Balthazar but the rest of our group were transported in another car & a member of another tourist group (so a fellow tour participant!) was asked by the tour company to drive one of the tour company’s cars! We waited an hour for our clear boat tour to begin. Once on the clear boat, it was an awesome experience & well worth the cost. Those in our party who snorkeled had a great time! The boat captain & assistant were very customer oriented & attentive. Balthazar said he would be there waiting for us when we finished the boat tour. He was not. We waited 1 hour. We tried to call the tour company several times (the recording in their voice mail was only in Spanish) & finally after about the 3rd try, got a hold of someone in the office. She was surprised that Balthazar was not there & told us she would reach out to him & call us right back. She never called back. We finally ended up hailing a taxi to get back to the cruise port. A chicken fajita lunch was included in this tour, which we were not able to enjoy due to not being picked up after the boat tour.
The Atv portion was fantastic! We had to wait about an hour after that for the Clearwater portion..that sucked. The boat was cool...but too long of a trip with screaming kids...couldn't go to the beach and lunch portion because too late for cruise return. We wanted to shop a bit in Cozumel.
This was a very fun experience! Victor was our tour guide and he was fun to be around. Whether speaking to him in English or Spanish, he was fun to converse with. Some of my family members were nervous about ATV riding, but he made everyone feel safe and comfortable. The photos that were taken were super cool! We met at the pick up point and were taken to the resort. Then, we rode ATV’s and even went to see a “cenote,” which is like an underground cave. Then, we went to taste tequila. We were dropped off at the beach resort, where one meal was provided. We went into the beach and could have gone into the pool. Victor stayed to help us until the end. I disliked two things, but they’re not his fault. It was out of his control. 1. The weather was windy, so we did not go on clear boats. They let us ride the ATV’s longer, but it was still fun. 2. Everything is pricey. Buying a mask for ATV riding and renting shoes cost extra. After tasting tequila, you are encouraged to buy one or leave a good tip. You have to pay for the photos from the ATV ride. A drink is not included with your mean. I understand this, but just go in knowing that anything additional costs extra. Other than these two things, the experience itself was great and totally worth it. Especially if you’re lucky enough to get Victor as your lead!
We loved it, it was so fun. Jonathan explained everything really well. Jesus helped Jonathan making sure that the group stayed all together.
Francisco was our guide. He was most accommodating and took us directly to the glass bottom boat to see some underwater wrecks. Then we went to an ATV ride in an area that was devoid of pretty scenery. We rode past a few garbage dumps. Afterwards we had a fajita lunch on a scenic beach before returning to the port. We did not go to rum tasting as we had done that on a prior visit.
We had amazing experience, our driver and guide was amazing and took care of us everywhere. We will definitely be back. Playa Uvas is also a nice place for beach activities.
Our tour guide dinero was amazing and it was so easy to communicate with everyone . This is an amazing value . The clear boat was beautiful and the atv through the jungle was fun!!! The tequila museum was the icing on the cake ! Plus the yummy food
Hi, this is a must tour. Our tour man Johnathan was amazing. He went on and beyond to ensure our safety and fun was on point! The Atv ride was super fun, the camera man took some amaxing pictures throughout the ride. The clear boat ride with Casper and Captain David was amazing. The ride was just breathtaking. Casper also taking beautiful pictures and the snorkel was cool... just a note to take in.... there are alot of tropical fishes.... really close to you lol. There was a tequila tour and private beach entrance with lunch included. The chicken quesadillas and fajita were on point!! My sis cut her toe in one of the pools which ended the tour.... we missed out on the kayaking, and chocolate tour but by this time we were pretty much done from the activities. Thanks again Jonathan!! ✌️💪
Great service!! Excellent service they are the best !! Friendly the guys are awesome!! Will be bac soon!! Atv a boat ride wonderful!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🍻🍻🍻🍻💙💙💙😘🚢🚢🚢
Had a great time. Our glass bottom guide Casper and the Captain were great. Our guide, Denair, was excellent. Only negative was, he had to leave us at the beach club. Another guide took us back to our hotel.
Amazing tour guide and all amazing helpful people. We enjoyed all the activities will be coming back for sure.
Most easiest booking process, they were persistent with responding in the emails and thoroughly explained every question I had. Our tour guide/ driver named Oliver was on time, provided us with water and made sure we were all safe. The ATVs were easy to drive and very fun also the photographer was riding with us and taking our pictures as well, we purchased them afterwards. The best part was the clear boat looking down into the water. Our tour guides Memo and Brandon were truly knowledgeable about the marine life, ship wrecks and parts of the island. They were also very funny/ entertaining. The snorkeling was truly beautiful, the clearest water and seeing all the fishes, I didn’t want to stop snorkeling. We also purchased pictures for that. The last stop at the beach with the fajitas lunch was cut short because they closed at 6pm and we arrived at 6:20 but we didn’t care because were stayed on a resort with a beautiful beach already so we took the lunch with us and Oliver drove us back to our resort safely. Thank you for the best experience in Cozumel, don’t hesitate!! (Didn’t mean to write this long paragraph but I had to go into FULL DETAIL BECAUSE ITS WORTH IT AND VERY AFFORDABLE!! Come on now $80 per person, you can’t beat that)
Are family had a great time. Definitely worth every penny. Would recommend to everyone. Our tour guide was amazing and truly did an outstanding job. We didn’t make it to get our food but our tour guide made sure we had our food to go. He called ahead and we picked up our food. The food was amazing. Thank you so much.
The excursion was great from beginning to end.We had a blast on the ATV'S riding over hills, through trails and through muddy waters 😊 The clear boat bottom was a nice experience. Davis & Oscar were great. Each group made sure we were hydrated. The food and drink spot was nice. George was great through our whole trip. Would definitely recommend!
The Atv rides were cool just for the experience of driving. We were only taken to a limestone quarry and didn’t see anything other than dusty dirt trails. There was no conversation about the surroundings or a ride on the beach as the description says. We were eaten by mosquitos like crazy during the atv ride. The staff was friendly but didn’t do much other than drive us from place to place. Tequila tasting was cool. We were rushed. Had to be in and out of there in 15 min. We arrived at the boat place at 1:30. We were told boat would leave at 2. It was 2:30 before it came. We were told your would be one hour and 45min. Ours was only for 1 hr. We told the kids we would see a sunken ship wreck. That didn’t happen. We rode the boat to the cruise ships. Not a cool experience and definitely not a nice location. Saw some fish. Then we were allowed to snorkel for 20min before we were rushed back in the boat. Our tour guide showed up on time to pick us up from boat and we elected not to go to the beach club bc it was getting late and we needed to get a ferry back to Playa del Carmen. We really had high hopes that this would be great for $300 cost but it wasn’t :(
Our driver was awesome. He picked us up timely and explained our itinerary, provided interesting information about Cozumel. The ATV was a great experience. The clear boat was a good experience the captain was awesome and we read not the fall for the photo scam. At the end we were taken back to the original meet up for our free lunch which was included in the price. We found out water nor soda was included in the price of our lunch because we had already received water and soda during ATV and on the clear glass boat ride. What we didn’t like was all the added fees charged like the $100 park fee which should have been included in our tour. Viator will lose customers if they don’t get these vendors under control and stop the additional add on fees. After our ATV,
Save yourself and DO NOT book this excursion or anything with this tour company. We were supposed to have began our excursion at 8:30am. We didn't actually begin until about an hour later because our guide did not meet us at our specified meeting location. We called the company trying to work things out and were hung up on multiple times. After we finally got picked up, we were told we needed to follow our guide to the site to ride ATV's. And by follow our guide I mean we had to follow him by driving ourselves in separate cars that they provided. Luckily we had people that felt comfortable driving. This just added unnecessary stress to what was supposed to be a nice vacation. Anyway after getting to the site to ride the ATV's we noticed that it's not at all like what was advertised online. You will not be riding through the Cozumel jungle, or rivers and mud, or forest. You will be riding through was looks like a demolition site full of dirt and and garbage bags. I was a little disappointed, however venue aside the activity was still very fun and worthwhile. The problem started after we finished riding and were waiting to move to the next point. The guide tells my party that we damaged one of his ATV's and needed to pay for it. He then mentioned that if we maybe tipped him, he wouldn't tell his boss and we wouldn't be held responsible. I could understand if we had damaged the vehicle to were it could no longer be used, but that wasn't the case. We were riding over big rocks and gravel its only natural that something could fly up and hit the ATV. These are off roading vehicles of course they're not going to remain in pristine condition. Moreover and most importantly we didn't damage anything. He was trying to say that the damage occurred after one person in my group rammed into the back of another person, but that NEVER happed. We were spaced out the entire time. We rode these vehicles just as we were instructed to do so. Nothing more. Luckily we were paired up with a lovely couple who were bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. Hearing this whole commotion. The woman stepped in and spoke to the guide in Spanish, basically calling him out and letting him know that what he was trying to pull with us was complete bs. After she did this he let the situation go and we moved on to the next stop. I couldn't even imagine how bad the situation could've gotten if she didn't stand up for us. The guide basically just wanted more money and tried scamming it out of us. I can't help but wonder how many more people they've pulled that with. After that the rest of the excursion went smooth. We were taken on a tequila that we weren't made aware of before hand. It was nice so my group didn't really mind. The clear boat ride is provided through another company so I guess that's what the extra $20 fee is for. The company for the clear boat was great and very professional. No problems there at all. That was a great experience. The excursion was quoted as being only about 4 hours and 30 mins. Which sounded great because then we would have some extra time before we needed to get back on our ship. With all the nonsense that went on earlier, we actually spent about 7 hours doing this excursion. That doesn't even include the beach break because we had to cut that short in order to get back on time. My advice for anyone looking to do this specific excursion is don't. I wouldn't recommend any excursion booked with the Playa Uvas tour company. The will hustle and intimidate you in order to try to scam you. And they will waste your valuable time. It's not worth the headache. If you do decide to book with them, make sure you video everything you touch just in case they try to blame you for something that you didn't do.
Would have been a great experience had it not been for our tour guide Daniel. We decided to take a 8:30 tour because the tour specified that it was approximately 4 hrs and 30 mins so we also decided to book a different excursion at 2:30. Hoping to end at 1 or 1:30 would have been us a chance to eat some food and then be ready for our 2:30 tour. Seeing as how where our next tour was right around the corner from where we met Daniel. When driving to our first destination at about 845 in the morning I ask Daniel when we will be back he tells me around 3. We specify that we have another tour at 2:30 he say we will be back at two and be back to drive at exactly 230. Cutting it very close as the other tours tells me they leave at exactly 2:30. We join another great and energetic family for this atv tour and we are now about a group of 11. The trail where we atv was very mid. Nothing special about it just rocks and dirt and you only do it for about 30 mins. He then tells someone else at the end of our tour that they have damaged their atv and the way he goes about it is very shady as if he wants to charge them extra money. The family refuses and we move on .We then head to a tequila tour which was ok but not mentioned before booking. On our way to the clear boat we tell Daniel again and remind him we need to be back earlier if there was a way to be able to make the tour. He tells us because he has to wait for everyone to decide what pictures they want because we all came together and they were following us in a different vehicle and with traffic we wouldn’t be making it until the earliest 2:30. I tell him if this part will cut into our time then we will not do the clear boat seeing as how our next excursion was another boat ride. We then ask if there is someone at the company that can drive us back instead. He whats app someone at the company to see if they can get us another person to drive us back to our car so we can again move on. He say they will confirm. We get to the clear boat at 12 and thats when they tell us we will be back at about 1:30-2. We are thinking great. We ask Daniel AGAIN if the ride for us is confirmed he say yes. We are separated from the family we already had a great time with and are set on a separate tour with new people. We think its because they are heading out first and so we can come back first to leave early. Daniel stays behind and we have a new tour guide for the boat and this tour was amazing great experience with the clear boat people. Upon heading back we dash from the dock to back to where Daniel left us. When we ask him where is our ride because he have about 25 mins to make it. He tells me after all of this confirmation and asking him multiple times that he has to wait for the other family we were with earlier to get back from their tour as well as wait for them to see if they wanted to purchase their pictures. I as anyone would at that am starting to get aggravated and asked him what was the point of me confirming and confirming if this was going to the outcome. He then proceeds to say if we need to get back faster should take a cab. I lose my temper at the point and to not waste time just end up taking a cab. I do not recommend DUNE BUGGY TOURS.
Victor was awesome! We had a great time riding ATV's, snorkeling and on the glass bottom boat. Memo our guide on the boat made sure we were comfortable in the water and was very informative. Definitely, worth the money.
Very affordable, well organized and communication was great. We were taken care of hotel doorstep to hotel doorstep. Our day was 9:30am-4:30pm but we could have stayed longer at the beach club after the tour ended. We were able to just enjoy and purchase pictures from both ATV & clear boat. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had waters and beers all day and a great lunch and cocktails afterwards at the beach club. Dinaro was great with the ATV tours. And Memo was so fun with the clear boat. Playa Uvas was a great friend and fast staff at the perfect place to end our busy day.
Rushing and having to pay $20 soon as we got picked up , and not having time to do all the activities, the whole experience was them trying get more money out of you
If you like riding through a limestone quarry full of rubbish then this is the tour for you Victor our guide was great however the tour was not what we were expecting as the photos showed riding along water (which looked like beach ). We followed a guy doing circuits of the quarry. No talk of flora and fauna. No talk at all lol Our tour ran late so we didn’t get to do the lunch and drinks which were in the package as by the time we got off the glass bottom boat it was 2pm and we planned other things so we had to opt out of that part. For us it was very disappointing and as we didn’t do lunch n drink not worth the money I did try and upload some photos but it failed
Pacho with our ATV's and Roberto with our boat were both great with us oldies! we had a blast and are telling all of our friends. THANKS for the experience! Maryfran
