This was a fun unique thing to do. We saw lots of fish even a baracuda. Well worth the money.

Excellent opportunity to see closeup one of Cozumel’s reef and marine mammal wildlife if you are not a scuba diver. We did not feel claustrophobic at all in the sub. We felt safe and secure under the guidance of an excellent staff. Our guide and narrator did speak kind of fast and was hard to understand at times. She did seem very knowledgeable and was friendly.
It was a great experience. I had done glass bottom boats before and love snorkeling. I was amazed with the coral formations, there was also lots of different beautiful fishes. The crew was great, they sept safe and even with the sea been a little bit rough that, everyone made back without any accidents. Im not uploading pictures because they really don't do it any justice to the real deal and been able to experience it yourself.
Murky waters, no clear pictures. Crew very friendly but we only speak English and crew was hard to understand.saw very little sea life on our side but other side saw eels, stingray
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. We spent 2 hrs getting ready to go out on this submarine. They took us on a 15 minute boat ride out to the submarine. The previous tour got out of the submarine onto the boat we were on. Then they told us the current was too strong and we wouldn’t be going. Then after the 25 minute boat ride back, they let the people who did go in the submarine off first, The tour company was rude and inconsiderate. The weather did not make a change. This could have been communicated beforehand without wasting a bulk of the day on our vacation. I would never consider doing this tour again.
Due to weather conditions trip was cancelled, which they say is common in October. We didn’t find out until we arrived. Some advance notice would have been nice to avoid the $20 taxi ride there.
If you’ve never been on a submarine this is your chance to see sea life up close. The trip was cool and I would recommend it.
Fun experience, wish the tour guide was clearer so we could hear her better. Definitely a cab ride, $10 bucks each way from the dock Punta Langosta, where MSC docks
Get up early before all the cruises start disembarking. We caught an early dive and there was only 6 on the submarine as opposed to the next one which was full. It also meant that the sub only had to concentrate on making sure 1 side saw everything.
We really enjoyed the submarine experience. Saw lots of fish and it was very interesting.
It was a great experience for the price. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and answered questions promptly. We saw a stingray, different kinds of fish, conchs and a sunken ship. The tour was in both English and Spanish for everyone involved.
This was a great experience, especially for people who fear scuba diving. The crew and all of the clerks were very kind.
Fun and informative experience, the crew are experienced and friendly. The tour is fully Spanish and English.
This is an awesome excursion. Would highly recommend it. Saw some amazing things underneath the ocean.. well worth the money and time.
View was fantastic - highly recommend! Travel to and from submarine and the excursion itself was all thoroughly enjoyable.
Good experience: very well coordinated.
We did this as an excursion day from our cruise and it was great! The views and fish you can see are amazing. Going down 100 ft, they showed us the drop off point of the island where it goes down to depths of 2000 ft. The people were very friendly and were very willing to move our reservations to an earlier dive so that we could get back to the ship on time. (It's about a 10-min taxi ride to Punto Langosto, where our ship was docked.) They take you by a sunken ship so that both sides of the sub can see it. There are no bad seats.
The area is very tight and restrictive. The beating the whole experience was seeing the ship wreckage. The corals weren’t that exciting, they lacked the color and the habitat that a beautiful coral should have.
We had the best time the views were amazing and Hector was a great and let you know about everything you were looking at
Our guide was amazing! Very knowledgeable and made it very enjoyable. Recommend booking an early appointment to avoid larger crowd. We booked a 10:30 time, but we arrived really early and got to go on the 9:30 slot. So glad we did because it was much more packed.
Sandy was so understanding and kind when we had a little meetup-point mixup, but she made sure we weren’t left behind without delaying the group. Our guide Vero and her assistant Charley (and our pilot Paco) were all amazing, so so knowledgeable and excited to share the beauty of the coral reef with us on the tour. I particularly appreciated how often Charley pointed out things I otherwise might have missed because I was looking some random direction haha! Their joy in their job was absolutely contagious and I had a wonderful time. Fully recommend this!
Our family of six (4 adults and 2 children) had an absolutely incredible experience on the Atlantis Submarine Adventure in Cozumel! From start to finish, everything was first-class. The meeting location was easy to find, check-in was quick and organized, and the comfortable, air-conditioned waiting area made the beginning of our excursion relaxing. The introductory video was informative, engaging, and did an excellent job preparing everyone for the adventure ahead. The crew was outstanding! Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making sure everyone had a memorable experience. If you're worried about feeling claustrophobic, don't be. The submarine was much more spacious than we expected, fully air-conditioned, and very comfortable throughout the dive. The large viewing ports gave everyone an excellent view, and at no point did we feel confined. Descending to more than 110 feet below the surface was simply amazing. The underwater views of the coral reef and marine life were breathtaking. What made the trip even more special was the educational aspect. The narration throughout the dive was informative without being overwhelming, teaching us about the reef ecosystem, marine life, and the importance of conservation. Both the adults and the children found it fascinating, and it added tremendous value to an already incredible experience. The entire excursion exceeded our expectations and was even better than described. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Cozumel and created memories our family will cherish for years to come. We wholeheartedly recommend the Atlantis Submarine Adventure to anyone visiting Cozumel. Whether you're traveling as a couple, with friends, or as a family, this is a truly unique experience that is well worth every penny!
Amazing experience, took my father, he loved
Fantastic Excursion & Experience! This was our 2nd time doing the Atlantis Submarine in Cozumel, and 4th time overall with Atlantis, the other two were in Hawaii. We brought our Son, Daughter-in-law, and Grandson. We all loved it! What a wonderful way to see many aquatic creatures, and a few surprises. Also a great way to escape the heat. We saw a lemon shark which was really cool, an enormous lobster, and so many fish. I would not hesitate to do this excursion again.
It was amazing to be so low and too see all the different species of fish
Such a great alternative to experience the marine life if you don't want to get wet!! The crew was very welcoming and the whole experience was memorable
Very interesting and beautiful! The staff was very friendly and efficient! The guide on the submarine helped point out things that I would not have seen if he had not pointed them out!
Be aware that 4 is the minimum age. And the child needs to be somewhat confident and independent, because entry to the sub is tricky and could be scary. I didn't read the conditions carefully when booking, so we had to split our party so that a parent could stay behind with our 3 year old. OTHER THAN THAT it was a good experience. VERY well organized and friendly. Saw a gig variety of fish and a nice surprise at the end.
Need to know you have to pay an additional $13 fee per person to the government. Before they’ll let you into the waiting area for the experience.
Very good experience right from the start to end. The crew is very knowledgeable and clear in providing instructions that are required. Even my 3 and half yr old(height needs to be more than 42inches) also enjoyed the ride. Wouldn't say that the corals are the best but overall experience is worth. Also the place is very close to the port and would take less than 10min from the port exit.
This experience was better than we imagined! The staff was very friendly, the view from the submarine was unreal, and everything was efficient and clean!
Great time, money well spent. Professional business who took safety serious and ensured everyone had a memorable trip.
Just as described but make sure you sit on the right side sees more than otherside. Not sure why we had to keep looking over to the ba k of us to see shipwreck and coral mounds.
Awesome.. buoyed the underwater sea and felt like anything . My family also enjoyed the underwater experience. Niceeeee…
The directions to reach the facility should include how to get there from the cruise ports and not just the address.
What an amazing adventure. It’s an entire world down there we rarely get to see. The crew was friendly and helpful and we had a great time.
The trip is very well done. It is amazing the things you see the staff is very attentive and very helpful and they are very well organized.
Great experience- from start in the seating area with several underwater videos to boarding the boat to the reef and onto the submarine. Everyone was professional, informative and nice. Going to depths of 100+, I was impressed by the diversity of the coral, variety of fish and overall tour including the shipwreck. Class act. Lovely tour. Lots of marine life.
We had an amazing experience excellent stuff
If you are not a scuba diver, you will never see things like this. Dive down to 100 feet without a chance of getting the bends.
We had seen this listed as a Norwegian excursion and decided to look into their website. Glad we did, as the price to book directly was much less. Our ship arrived early and we got to the venue an hour earlier than our scheduled reservation. They were happily able to accommodate, and we got on an earlier adventure. We got on a boat that took us on a beautiful ride through the bay to where the submarine was docked. We boarded and started our journey. It was marvelous. If you're claustrophobic, I wouldn't recommend it, but if not, you're in for a treat. On the way down to over 100 feet below the surface, we saw beautiful reefs, gorgeous fish, and a really cool shipwreck, complete with divers who were exploring it. If you're going to Cozumel, I highly advise that you look into this.
Everything was amazing. The staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend. Learned lots of facts while in the submarine from the guide.
Really fun time! Staff was great! Baldo and Jose Cuervo were an absolute pleasure.
Tour was cancelled due to weather conditions. We have to figure out how to get a refund from trip advisor.
Great tour for all ages. Its an easy boat trip to reach the submarine and not difficult to climb up or down the ladder to get in.
Good experience, we went with a mixed group, they spoke both Spanish and English.
It was AMAZING- safe, beautiful, clean, organized and seriously it is just rare chance to go under the sea and see the beauty of it. If I can give it 10 stars I would
This was a great experience!! You wont be disappointed.
Wholesome experience, reached -107 ft under sea, along with plenty of coral reefs, able to spot a couple of Stingray fish, lots of Dori fishes, small size sharks, sea turtle and more…
The sub tour was amazing. I was surprised to find out about the additional fee of $13 per person after we arrived at the office. They were very accommodating, and even got us on an earlier tour rather than making us wait for our assigned time. Would absolutely recommend!!!
