This year I chose Cozumel Palace as my birthday destination. Location: Close to the Punta Langosta Cruise terminal. Right away I want to mention this resort is right off one of the second largest reefs. There is no sandy beach on the property but there is access to get into the water from the pier or ladders. The area is beautiful and you get a true ocean front view. Guests can borrow equipment for water activities like snorkeling, kayaking & paddle boarding. Room: I booked a Superior Ocean Front View, 10/10! Gorgeous room with a large hot tub and a balcony that has a hammock and seating area. The room was clean and felt fresh. Bar area loaded with snacks, a mini fridge stocked with various drinks and a mini liquor bar. Food: The resort had 3 restaurants for dinner plus a steak grill outside. -Mexican -Asian -Italian -Flamingos, outside grill flare that serves snacks during the day like finger foods and fresh ceviche. -Turquesa, breakfast buffet, there is also a chef that will cook up an omelette built your way or even huevos rancheros. Staff: The staff at Cozumel palace was absolutely wonderful. I want to give a few shoutouts to the staff that made my birthday weekend special. Izamar, she helped us book our tour and she was patient with me and she took the time to explain everything about the tours I was interested in. Gabriel, this man was super sweet to us and would check in and made sure we were doing okay any time he saw us throughout the resort. Silvia, the breakfast host, would always greet us with a warm smile and she remembered that it was my birthday on Sunday and brought out a cute tiny delicious cake for me and the staff sang las mañanitas to me. 💖 Tini, the outside attendant Super sweet girl that shared her knowledge on the island. She gave us helpful tips as well. The servers we had were all very professional and immaculate. -Alexander -Jonathan Antonio, I think he might have been one of the managers, he absolutely went above and beyond and surprised me the night of my birthday dinner with a special accommodation. Thank you so much for that, it truly topped off my birthday weekend. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at Cozumel Palace. The only thing I didn’t really like was getting my resort bracelet cut off, that was rude but ok. LOL!! I’ll just have to come back again to get another one.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10 Stars — A Luxurious Spa Experience at Cozumel Palace ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment I arrived at the Cozumel Palace Spa, I knew I was in exceptional hands. The service was nothing short of extraordinary. Stefany, James, and Manuel delivered a level of warmth and attentiveness that felt entirely personal—like I was the only guest in the room. They greeted me with genuine kindness and handled every detail of my spa appointment with remarkable professionalism and care. Their thoughtful touches elevated the experience beautifully: I was welcomed with warm neck towels, provided with a clean facial towel, and offered a refreshing cold glass of water or fruit-infused water. Every moment felt refined, soothing, and perfectly curated for relaxation. Luz then treated me to a truly beautiful spa pedicure. The care and attention she gave to every step left my feet feeling light, pampered, and wonderfully at ease—the kind of refresh that lingers long after you leave. And if there is one experience I will always return for, it is Argelia. Argelia is, without question, the best masseuse I have ever found at any resort. I always request the Aromatherapy 80-minute massage, and she consistently exceeds expectations. She knows exactly where my knots are—she discovered them immediately from our very first session—and since then, I’ve realized I don’t just enjoy her massages… I need Argelia every time. Overall, this was the most luxurious and exceptional spa service I’ve experienced anywhere, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly elevated retreat. I cannot wait to come back.
We began coming here about 2016.last few years, we visit about every 3-6 months. We love this resort. It’s not huge. It’s not a party scene. They have phenomenal food. Their employees are all amazing. We have never had a bad experience. We don’t have young children but I’ve seen the ladies who do the kids club. The kids are always happy and well organized. The rooms and premises are immaculate. The food is phenomenal. I can’t say enough about the food. They make their own everything, including tortillas. Book a room. You will not regret it.
I would like to rave about our experience here at the Cozumel Palace. My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon and everything was utter perfection from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend the Palace over other 5 star resorts because you get the best of both worlds - there’s a beautiful place to snorkel right off the resort and the city is just walking distance away. This is a big benefit because there are taxis everywhere, which is nice, BUT their exchange rate can sometimes be inflated. So it’s nice to be able to walk to places instead of relying on taxis. Right as we walked in, we were greeted by hotel staff who handed us flowers, a cold and scented compress, and juice. Staff quickly took our luggage up to our room and they explained the layout of the resort and things to do. Room Our room was stunning. We were greeted with a beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony, a complimentary bottle of wine, and a selection of liquors. We also had a diffuser and when I asked for orthopedic pillows (I have a bad back), they were quickly taken care of by room service. Restaurants and Drinks I was pleasantly surprised with the variety and quality of food at each location. There are 5 different restaurants to choose from: Turquesa, which offers a buffet style breakfast and lunch; Flamingos, which is their grilled fare option right on the water; Bugambilias, which is their Mexican option; Momo, which was our personal favorite that served Asian fare; and Gondola, the only place we didn’t try that serves Italian food. Everything was delicious and fresh. Martha at Turquesa was so kind. She would greet you as soon as you walked in, and would remember you and your preferences. We had a wonderful experience with Antonio at Momo, who explained the menu selection and helped us pick out some delicious sushi. Our waitress at Bugambilias was so attentive and kind, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Drinks were amazing too. The resort had an in house coffee shop as well as several bars. In order to maintain a level of peace and enjoyment for other guests, staff would monitor the numbers of drinks going out to prevent public intoxication. My husband and I really appreciated this. We loved the calm and tranquil vibe, instead of dealing with people getting out of control. Service, Excursions and Entertainment There is quite a lot to do in Cozumel. If you don’t like to snorkel, then there’s the downtown shopping district to explore, Mayan ruins tour to go on, a tequila tasting tour, and a water park. Fredy took care of us in this department, making sure we knew everything there was to do. He explained each excursion carefully, went over costs, and even provided us a map and transportation. He went above and beyond and we truly appreciated his help. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend the snorkeling off the resort. My husband and I were blown away by how much we saw. We encountered a huge spotted eagle ray, several smaller rays, two cuttlefish, great barracuda, flying fish, and lobster. It was an amazing experience. We also got a deep tissue back massage at the resort spa. We loved Juanita and Algeria because they were very attentive. As mentioned, I have back problems and they made sure to work the muscles I specifically asked them to focus on. I felt super relaxed after! I can’t end this review without raving about the entertainment. The resort brought in a band called Showtime, and their music was incredible! The lead singer had a super talented voice. There was also a Michael Jackson show, break dancing, and several violinists, guitarists, and other musicians who were incredible. Overall, I could not recommend Cozumel Palace enough. We had a wonderful time and truly appreciate the level of detail and care each resort staff member brought. We will be back with our families in the upcoming years. Thank you Cozumel Palace for making our honeymoon so special.
This was our 4th visit to a Palace resort. It did not disappoint. The smallest of the resorts we have had the pleasure of visiting. The staff and resorts guests were awesome. Rooms were clean, comfortable and newly refurbished. Food was good. Keep in mind there are only 4 restaurants but they all had unique menus and atmosphere. The service staff is top notch. Our only complaint is the high pressure sales team that want you to (seems so) desperately to buy a Palace timeshare. It takes away, for us, the sense of relaxation you may be looking for when you register for your stay. Yeah you may get $1500 USD to spend at the spa (would cover 1 massage...prices are outrageous)or an excursion but it just seems so pressed. We spent our first few days hiding behind the lobby plants avoiding the sales team. Otherwise Palace resorts are amazing!
