Giant Stand Up Paddle Boarding Experience In Newquay

Fantastic experience from the off, safety brief. Giant paddle board for 7 people, jumping off rocks, bit of a tour, swimming in dark caves, even the seal made an appearance, dropped a few challenges in aswell. Cheers James had a great time

We had the most incredible time giant paddle boarding today with James, and honestly, we couldn’t recommend him enough! 🤩 James was fantastic from start to finish — his knowledge, friendliness and genuine personality made the whole experience so enjoyable. You can really tell how passionate he is about what he does, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. And as if the paddle boarding wasn’t enough, we were lucky enough to see seals along the coastline! 🦭🌊 Such an unforgettable experience and definitely one we’ll be talking about for a long time! A huge thank you to James for making our day so special. You’re an absolute credit to what you do!

We did Surfing and coasteering with Amy, and super SUP with James. It was awesome. They were both so knowledgable and fun whilst being mega professional, we had the best time with our group.

Lee was a very good guide, was funny, and new how to make everyone laugh. Overall, highly recommend to book with Lee as your experience would be great.

The giant SUP was great fun, even with the massive downpour halfway through George the instructor made us laugh and kept the vibes high

Fantastic experience on the super sup with James as our guide. We had so much fun on the sup, learning how to get on and off and stand up, played a few games and lots of wildlife spotting. The highlight was swimming in the pitch black cave with a seal!! James was a great guide, very knowledgeable, put us all at ease and made sure we had a laugh. Would have liked a few more pics to remember it by.

Dave took us round the coast and into the caves. He told us stories of wonder of mystery and of marine biology. We saw seals and crabs and jelly fish. We wondered if we too were Moana herself going beyond the reef or Oddeseus facing the song of the Sirens. On our oddesy nobody was lost, every mariner returned safe to their loved ones with tales of adventure and daring and trials by water and earth and fire. We saw amaxing things we will never forget and had just the best safest and most enjoyable fun that Cornwall has to offer. Thank you Newquay Activity centre you have the kit but also the guides that make it magic

We absolutely loved our Super SUP tour. It was a great experience exploring the coastline. Dave, our guide made the trip! He was so brilliant with the kids, really encouraging them and keeping them engaged with brilliant facts and stories of local history. It's not cheap, but it was a special memory that we won't forget. Would definitely use Newquay activity centre again. Really friendly and well organised.

We had a wonderful time on the SUP. Zak our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable about the areas around the sea. We loved exploring the caves. Zak constantly made sure we were all ok at all times and reassured us when was feeling nervous. Would highly recommend.

Lovely weather made this experience really good, we were joined by some local grey seals (but don’t book for this, this was a bonus) Guide was good sharing local knowledge of the area. There are some pretty dark and difficult caves to navigate as well as some lofty jumps (not for the faint hearted!!) also the walk to the start with all your “kit” on is uncomfortablely hot, but you soon cool off!!!

Amy was our instructor very noticeable on the area history health and safety was easy to get on with we had a great 2hrs and would recommend every one tries there something for everyone thanks Amy and the team Stephen sherelyn

Have just completed a family super SUP tour with James and it was absolutely brilliant! Went out with my two sons (age 7 and 5) and James was super accommodating to all their requests to explore caves. We saw Spider crabs, cormorants, caves and even got a visit from a seal. My son's are non swimmers but were kitted out with everything they would need and I always felt they were very safe. Thanks so much James for the fab tour! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Newquay ☺️

Our activity was cancelled due to bad weather. We were offered a cheaper alternative rather than a refund. Had a great time with the instructor and refund was promised on the day. Subsequently chased twice. Now a week later, still nothing. Very disappointed to lose £45 we should have pressed for a full refund.

Super SUP and snorkelling session for the Newquay Bluetits, guided by the wonderful Rudy. Thank you so much. We had so much fun and the cave exploring was a bonus. We love you guys! What next?!

It was an excellent activity, even though the wind was against us. Got see a couple seals and managed a little bit of snorkelling. Rudi was a brilliant guide and provided us with some interesting factoids about the cliffs and caves.

Rudi was amazing and we got to see and swim with sea puppies it was awesome ! Water was lovely and warm our guide wAs really good he told us all the history and we had lots of fun !

Professional members of staff from start to finish which made the two hours such an eye opener to the power of the sea and respect it deserves.

We had an amazing time on our giant kayaking and snorkeling tour with Heath! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and easy. The kayaking was such a unique way to explore, and the snorkeling was incredible—we even got to see two seals up close! It was definitely a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend Heath if you’re looking for an unforgettable adventure.

I was walking by when in the corner of my eye I noticed a vibrant atmosphere. After asking 101 question, about what they do . I walked away. However, I am a person who likes to change myself , I called them asked another 101 question and booked. I dont swim well, neither did one of the children who were 9 . We arrived and the team was amazing, suited us up, lots of advice and a safe talk. We got to the sea and I thought what have I done !!!! It was a bit rough there were plenty of waves. We were all party of 6. 3 adults and 3 children aged 11 and 9 I was so nervous, we got on the super sub and off we went. It was a complete disaster. The waves were big and we were going no where fast. This also might be down to the fact we were laughing so much. Again nothing to worry about. The team pulled us in to our first cove, where it was calmer. All the boys jumped in and went snorkeling. They went into the dragons den/ cave. The knowledge of the guides were good. Story's and legends were told. I myself get totally sea sick and was by now questioning why I had booked it, and going a bit green. However, once again the guides sat me on the rocks . They adapted the experience to each individual. On to our second cove. We seen a pup/ baby sea lion. Again we were told to be respectful and given some knowledge about the family that live there. Loads of fun was had, if you are not good in water/ the sea please don't let this stop you!!!! These guys are amazing and made a very special day into a memory. They also take photos and videos free of charge.

Booked kayaking, but due to winds changed to large paddle board and coasteering. Was excellent fun. James our guide was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the activity. Very friendly, helpful make the day.

Amazing experience! Originally, we booked the family kayaking but unfortunately the weather wasn't accommodating and we were offered the giant SUP instead, so so glad we were!! Our instructor was James, he was amazing, giving great knowledge of the sea life and geographical surroundings. He made sure we had fun at our individual comfort levels. We had a variation in ages from 61years to 5years and different skill levels, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we can't wait to book for next year already! Absolutely 100% recommended if your in Newquay and the surrounding areas.

We went as a family of 8 and we all fit on the super SUP without much trouble. We paddled along the coast and into caverns as our guide Oleks gave us information on the history of the coast and made the trip incredibly fun. Would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely amazing time out on the water with Amy as our Super SUP instructor! She created such a relaxed, fun, and welcoming atmosphere while keeping everything safe and well-organized. The session wasn’t just entertaining — it was genuinely educational too. Amy helped us build confidence on the board, taught us useful paddling tips, and even shared interesting facts about the area. One of the highlights was spotting a seal 🦭during the trip — such a special moment! 😃 And to top it all off, we witnessed a natural blowhole phenomenon, where water sprayed out of a rock formation due to pressure — so unexpected and unforgettable! 🌊🤩 We even had a little swim near the Super SUP! We're not confident swimmers🙈😅, but we felt completely safe with the buoyancy vests on and Amy nearby — it was a fun and freeing moment we didn’t expect to enjoy so much! ☺️ Amy went above and beyond by taking lots of brilliant photos and videos of us throughout, so we’ll always have those memories to look back on. 😍 Thank you, Amy, for your kindness, energy, and passion — this was truly one of the highlights of our trip. We’d 100% love to do it again! 🥰😉👍

Had a grand time doing the stand up paddle boarding, however, it was the instructors especially that made the activity really good fun. Props to Harrison .W and Oleks

We weren't able to do the activity we booked as it was too windy. However, the organisers at the centre suggested an alternative activity. It was a new experience on a giant Paddleboard and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were very lucky with the weather too. Our guide Rosie was very friendly and helpful. She also gave us a choice of options to choose things we preferred to do during the experience.

Had a great experience paddle boarding! The activities on the board were super fun, and the instructors were really friendly and helpful. They captured every moment too, which was such a nice touch. I’ll definitely be going again!

I've been using Newquay Activity Centre services for years. The staff always offers a great option for you. The centre has a great range of surfboards to rent, an outdoor shower and indoor changing rooms. For a big group, its was fun the have the Super SUP activity, he had a lot of giggles. The center usually works longer hours than anyone around does. The experience of pre-booking on-line is the best for a busy season. Highly recommended.

The weather was rainy but that didn’t matter! Only a small group of three went on this and it was a good laugh for all. We even saw a seal pop its head up and come in close to see what was going on although the algae in the sea made it hard to see. Would definitely go back again, either doing the same thing or something different.

We booked the stand up paddle boarding, but we were swapped to the giant SUP as the sea was quite choppy. Was a fantastic experience. Thanks to James and Olex for their instruction, giving us interesting facts on the coastline, and making the experience lots of fun.

Such fun, had an amazing time, lots of fun and Jess the instructor was amazing! At first I was a bit apprehensive, however such a laugh. Lots of games and jumping in. Even saw a seal in the water. Lovely time and harder than it looks!

Lovely views around the coast, our guide Sean was very fun and friendly, and provided us with lots of historical information. He was very patient and enjoyable to be with, and the overall experience was very very good.

Amazing time - Sarah (instructor) was brilliant and great at encouraging the littler ones in the group. We did the daily coasteer and giant SUP and highly recommend.

Our instructor Ethan made our family experience of Stand Up Paddle boarding fun, funny and memorable. He took into account all of our families needs and we enjoyed it more than we could have imagined. Cave exploring, paddle jumping into the water, spotting seals and little added extras like filming us so we had great memories. Highly recommended!

We chose the group stand up paddle board experience. 5 people (2 adults, 3 young teen girls). Our guide, James, helped the girls be at ease and explained everything well and at a good speed. Pointed out some wildlife and historical points and made it really interesting. Was a windy day and hard work in parts but really enjoyable for all. Would highly recommend and was a reasonable price.

We had a lovely time doing the sup tour with Sean yesterday. He was really friendly and funny, making the trip all the better.

Has booked in for individual sup but the weather was against us so we had “big red” the giant sup which I was quite relieved with😉. Was great fun and we had a really good laugh with a few games our guide had us doing . Saw some seals (mum dad and pup) up close, got to explore some of the sea caves which are amazing . Very safety aware. Special mention to our guide Jacob who was a mine of information about everything we saw in the caves and sea ; he is also a lovely guy and really made the day special for us. Highly recommended.

Really friendly staff with plenty of knowledge on the activities and local history. Oleks was are guide/instructor , He was fun and friendly and kept us all safe and we had a laugh along the way. Would recommend trying some of the activities if your in Newquay. We had a great afternoon 😃👌

Had a fantastic time with Newquay Activity Centre as a large group on their fleet of Mega Stand Up Paddle Boards with work. It was a fun morning session where we raced against the other teams, threw each other in the sea and generally had fun. Thanks to our brilliant guide Daisy, she made our day such fun with her energetic yet laid back nature. Thanks to Alex and Sarah and the others also for running the day so well. Would definitely come back.

We did the giant SUP and coasteering with Jacob and Rosie... There were ten of us lads and it was brilliant fun. The guides were great fun, very experienced and relaxed and we all had a great time. Thanks 👍😎

We all really enjoyed this experience, despite feeling apprehensive at first, having never been paddleboarding before. We found it a lot easier than expected, and all the equipment we needed was available at the activity centre. Our instructor, Scar, was really helpful when we were getting kitted up, and provided lots of interesting facts about the coastline during the tour. We even managed to see a seal about 5 metres away from the board! I would definitely recommend.

We were meant to be sea kayaking but due to the weather we swapped to the super paddleboard. Our instructor Alex was super informative and friendly and made sure that we had an amazing time even out on choppy waters. We saw seals which was incredible and made it a truly memorable experience.

Great trip! Super fun, Jacob the instructor was great fun and had lots of knowledge about the coast line history. Had a fit of uncontrollable laughter when trying to stand on the SUP. Would recommend. Would say a warmer day is a better ideal if you’re like me as I’m a cold bod!

Wonderful time learning to paddle board on a super sup - team effort required. Paid extra for a senior instructor- well worth it. James was extremely knowledgeable and engaged really well with my 2 teens - would 100% recommend

Amazing experience with Instructor James! Family of 7 stand-up paddle boarding on the same giant board. We loved it. No worries about not being able to swim well as they kit you out with floating jackets. Great tour from James. We were really impressed with how James handled our 8 year old getting a bit panicked, he tied him to his self and had him floating along with him and it made him feel safe and calm. James was cool as a cucumber. Would recommend this tour 100%.

We booked on the Super SUP with coasteering and snorkeling and had a fantastic time. James was our guide and is a top bloke. He was really patient with a member of our group who was apprehensive about the activity but also made it fun for the more adventurous. All the equipment was provided inc. buoyancy aids, wetsuits and helmets and we were out for about 2.5 hours paddeling, snorkelling and jumping. The jumps started small and then gradually got higher. There was no pressure to go off the high jumps if outside of our comfort zone.

Olets was a good instructor he was really good at explaining things and having fun 10/10 would come back

Today the Super SUP adventure has been the highlight of our families summer holiday. Warrick was an excellent host a perfect combination of education of the local wildlife and adventure throughout the session. We look forward to embarking on more memories to be made in the future.
