Coasteering Experience In Newquay

We had a really great coasteering experience as a group with James. Whilst the conditions were a bit lumpy, he was great at managing the team so that we safely got the best out of the experience. A really fun day out.

James our guide was excellent. Clear instructions and very engaging . While an overcast day we had a lot of fun and excitement. Great organisation well worth the money

We had the most amazing coasteering experience! Dave was the ultimate hype man and kept the energy high throughout, while Rudi was always there to have our backs. He thoroughly talked us through all the safety procedures and was the calm to our anxieties, which made us feel so much more confident. Dave always had a story to tell and loads of interesting historical facts, which our girl Rosie absolutely loved — especially as we were celebrating her 30th birthday! 🥳 The whole experience was so much fun, and they both made us feel safe, encouraged and looked after from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend them enough! Something I definitely would do again if I knew I had them both as our instructors, they really are an asset to their team 🤍

Great experience we did the giant SUP plus coasteering and Fin and Sas did a great job of creating a fun and safe experience. The whole group had a lot of laughter and enjoyment and we would all recommend the operator.

Booked onto coasteering tour and got a call the day before asking if we wanted to upgrade to also do snorkelling and SUP for £15 each. Added this to our activity under the assumption it would be after. Instead they take out coasteering time for a 10 snorkel and travel to jump spot on the SUP. Description stated climbing and natural rapids but on our tour we jumped at one lactation at 3 different heights and then headed back. Was a bit disappointing considering we’d paid more thinking we would do more. However Jake and Zak were lovely guys and helpful on the activity.

Excellent session - we were 3 of a small group of 5, but we all loved it. I was a bit concerned the high ones would be too high, but the way the way Zak built us up through them was fantastic, so by the time of the highest jump nobody hesitated. Zak was the perfect instructor and encouraged everyone to have a go, but helped with an alternative when someone couldn't. We had perfect conditions and I would definitely recommend this activity to young and old!

Jake did a great job of guiding our group of 8 around the Newquay coastline on the North Coast Challenge coasteer. He was very encouraging and made us feel safe when climbing the rocks and swimming through caves, thanks Jake! The booking was easy and the instructional video beforehand told you everything you needed to know. The online assistant chat function was also very impressive with almost immediate replies on small queries (i.e., is there a plug socket for hair dryers - there is). The centre was great and although it was quite busy on our trip, there were spaces to change and warm outdoor showers that do the job. I would highly recommend this company if you are in Newquay and looking for some adventure!

This was a superb activity. I had come to do a Women and Waves Water Weekend and a lady I met on the weekend suggested that we tried this. This really was a fantastic end to the weekend. Morgan was an awesome and very knowledgeable guide, with Mila and Ellie as his keen and delightful assistants. I highly recommend this activity. I learnt so much in 2 hours. Really good value for money.

It was an amazing experience, the staff were so polite and made it a very positive experience. Our instructor, Zak was one of the kindest instructors I have ever met, and made the whole activity so much better. Couldn’t recommend more. -Tom

Such a unique experience! We absolutely loved it. We scrambled up the rocks to jump into deep pools and explored 2 caves! Our guide (Fin) was incredible! He is clearly very experienced with safety prioritized, but also so warm and patient with the most apprehensive of the group (me). There was tons of encouragement but no pressure to jump from the higher rocks and he was very energetic with the younger jumpers. Truly excellent! This was our favorite part of our UK trip and is a must-do experience if you are in Cornwall!

Dave was a fantastic guide, that put you at ease straight away and was a warm, welcoming and knowledgeable instructor. I’d highly recommend the experience after spending a few hours with him and my group. For anyone considering doing it solo, it was also a great way to meet others and spend a few others enjoying the beauty of what Newquay has to offer. My only suggestion would be to give people a heads up prior to confirming their booking if children happen to be booked in to the same session on the chosen day (as we were later told it impacts the level of difficulty of the jumps and route you take off the rocks). Overall, friendly staff on arrival, during and return & would defs do again!

Myself (Meg) and my partner and brother went on the Coasteering experience with James, and we had the best time ever!! James is an absolutely fantastic guide and really helped when I was anxious about jumping in the sea. He did an amazing job at making us all feel welcome and comfortable and we would all 10000% book again!! Absolutely brilliant!! All had a spectacular time!

Second time doing this great activity especially with James and Rudi leading us safely over the rocks and jumps! No pressure from either of them to do all the higher jumps which is lovely, so the kids do what they are comfortable with. We saw two seals and James has a good knowledge of the local wildlife and history of the area. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic experience on the supa sup and coasteering trip. Rudi our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and health and safety. The trip was great for being tailored to our individual needs. As the scared Mum I could have a go at small jumps and the kids could do the bigger jumps. He was very kind and supportive of me being nervous and great teaching the kids. We all had an amazing time . Thank you!

I had a great time coasteering with Amy, she was a wonderful instructor, I felt super safe throughout. She made sure all in the group me included would try and do things we wanted, she explained things thoroughly, listened and answered all the questions. It was a super fun session, will definitely be back for more.

My boyfriend and i booked the coasteering experience whilst on our holiday and had the best time!! Our guide Dave was super lovely and shared some interesting history and funny stories. We would love to come back when we next visit!

Family of four - had the best experience with Dave our instructor. Was aware a couple of us felt quite nervous and let us explore our own limits and develop our confidence. He helped us overcome our fears! Great knowledge and great fun

What a great lunchtime experience.. 9 off on a stag party! Superb guides and so much fun to do plus learn about being in the water etc Jumping in from differing heights was the highlife! Plus lost my watch and the team found it and returned it to me! Superb company, people highly recommend

Absolutely fantastic coasteering experience in Newquay today! James, our instructor, was awesome – friendly, knowledgeable, and full of interesting information about the coastline. He kept the whole experience exciting and perfectly tailored to the two of us, encouraging us to push ourselves and attempt jumps we might otherwise have avoided, while always making us feel safe and confident. We loved discovering some of the hidden secrets of the cliffs and seeing parts of the coast you’d never experience from land. James also shared some great tips on where to look for other coasteering adventures around the UK, which has definitely inspired us to do more. Such a fun and memorable experience – one of the highlights of our trip. We loved every minute and can't wait to come back and do it again. Highly recommended!

Pat and Rudi was amazing had the time of our lives if they don’t get a promotion and a pay rise for the experience they took us on I don’t know what it would take to get one. Top blokes highly recommend booking it with these guys.

We absolutely loved this activity! Morgan our guide was great, he was very informative on all things we came across on the coast, whether that was animals, plants or caves. The biggest jump we did was about 25ft and Morgan was amazing at calming the nervous jumpers.

The weather wasn’t great when we did this, with a yellow weather warning, how ever the wetsuit kept use warm & the tourguide James was so good at keeping us moving and helping us in & out of the water

We used Virgin Experience vouchers to book this experience, and added an extra person too. From the booking process through to the actual activity was brilliant. Communication was exceptional when booking, and confirmation to know where to go and what to do was just as good. On arrival, the weather was rubbish but the instructor, James assured us all will be fine and we'll have a great time. He was correct! We had an amazing time. We had a group of 5, of varying abilities and he catered for all of us. I'm not a particularly strong swimmer, but James made me feel safe and confident to participate. From swimming, climbing up rocks, jumping off rocks or just floating around in the waves - it was all brilliant. I'd highly recommend to anyone considering doing this activity.

My daughter (14) and my son (10) and myself decided to do coasteering fairly last minute as there was space same day. I’d never heard of it before but it’s a really unique activity combining rock climbing, swimming and rock jumping. Our instructor James was really great and made my kids feel very safe even though there was some element of danger. He was really knowledgeable about the local area and wildlife and gave us real insight into the environment as we worked our way around the coastline. A great experience, I would really recommend if you have a spare couple of hours and fancy a challenge.

Excellent day hosted and guided by Dylan and Zak. They were superb, very safe and felt in good professional hands. Not only did they provide fantastic support and guidance, they also provided insightful local knowledge and history of the area. Well done Dylan and Zak.

Great day led by Dylan and Zak who guided us through the different levels of Coasteering with ease and confidence. Made the experience really enjoyable with some historic information on the area added to the tour at no extra cost. Length of the session was just right. We had had a good time and fun in the water.

We had a great time coasteering round the Gazzle in Newquay. James was an awesome guide who taught us to safely climb and jump from the rocks and cliffs into some fairly choppy water. It felt like he adjusted the route and level of challenge to the right level for us as we went. Highly recommended.

I did a morning of coastering and afternoon of surfing, both of which I was a total beginner. Our instructor Amy was very friendly and did an excellent job guiding us around the coast at a good pace for us. I definitely improved my surfing skills significantly in the time we had and thoroughly enjoyed the day. I would definitely try it again.

Really good coasteering afternoon. James showed us some cool caves and gave a little history behind the uses of some of the manmade caves too. Some big jumps included but felt very safe. 10/10

Amy was a great guide. In and out of caves and the sea. Jumping off rocks into the sea. Lots of swimming and rock climbing. Good group activity So much fun.

Sup paddle boarding was excellent and fun, James and Dylan made it all the better with a potted history of the coastline, fishing and smuggling in the past. The coasterring, lead and instructed by James was very well done, fun, exhilarating and safe. Time was taken to cater for the whole group without anyone being pressured nor being worried about doing less or more. Throughly recommended.

Our coasteering experience was brilliant! Our instructor James was amazing - he made the session fun. We swam in a cave, paddle boarded, jumped off rocks and had some fun in the water. Highly recommended! Thanks James for a brilliant day 🙂
