The River Lee Hotel

We just checked out of a short stay at The River Lee and we are genuinely sad to leave. We planned a short trip to Cork to visit the Blarney Castle, but we look forward to visiting Cork again and exploring the town longer. First of all, The River Lee is a beautiful property right on the river. It's even more beautiful in person than the pictures on line. The glass elevators provide excellent views of the surrounding areas. We picked The River Lee because we needed connecting rooms for our family. The hotel easily accommodated our request and we were pleasantly surprised the rooms were perfectly set up for our needs as soon as we entered. If you stay here, make sure you get the breakfast package. The food is delicious and the service is gracious. Our host was fantastic (sorry I forgot his name) and our server Francisco and everyone else was excellent. Thank you for making our stay in Cork a delight! If and when we come to Cork again, we will certainly stay at The River Lee!

We had a fabulous overnight stay in the River Lee. They just seemed to get everything right, down to the mellow jazz players in the hotel bar when we were having a nightcap to the offer of water for the car when checking out. The breakfast offerings were extensive and delicious. However the staff are what impressed us the most. Every single member of staff was polite, helpful and friendly. They are a credit to the hotel and are the reason we will be back.

Excellent stay - very spacious and comfortable rooms. Even better if you get a view of the river. Lovely breakfast - combination of continental buffet and a la carte cooked. And proper hand made cappuccino..

We stayed from 21st till 24th,July The room was fabulous, on the 5th floor the bed was so comfortable the bathroom had large shower and bath.and the location was 5 minutes walk to shops, bars,restaurants, over looking the river. What a beautiful view when taking the glass lift a view of the city before you. My only reason to give 4 stars for service was on the 2nd day no coffee pods or milk where replaced when room was serviced. When asked for at FOH this was done. I would recommend the River Lee Hotel if visiting Cork. The cocktail 🍸 bar is wonderful for a night cap or just to chill out. The staff are so friendly, and helpful and always have a smile . I was celebrating 🍾 my birthday 🎂 and had never been to Cork before or the hotel but I will be a return guest. The hotel is a 4star but feels 5 🌟 overall a fantastic hotel.
