AVOID THIE HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. I genuinely cannot believe the way I was treated here. I paid €350 for a hotel stay and, thanks to the absolute disgrace of a manager running this place, I ended up having to sleep in my car. The manager’s attitude was absolutely appalling. She has no regard whatsoever for her customers, no sense of basic hospitality, and seemingly no understanding of what it means to manage a hotel. The way she spoke to me and handled the situation was nothing short of disgraceful. I have never encountered a manager with such a shocking attitude towards someone who has paid good money to stay at their establishment. The irony is that the other staff member I dealt with was actually sound, which makes the manager’s behaviour even harder to understand. Unfortunately, one decent staff member cannot make up for a manager who treats paying guests like they’re criminals rather than customers. A hotel manager should be there to resolve problems professionally, treat people with basic respect, and make sure guests receive the service they’ve paid for. Instead, this woman made an already terrible situation significantly worse through her attitude and complete lack of consideration. €350 is a lot of money to most people. To take someone’s money and leave them in a position where they have to sleep in their car is absolutely unacceptable. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to think twice. There are plenty of hotels that will treat you with basic dignity and respect. This was not one of them. An absolutely miserable experience, made considerably worse by a manager whose attitude towards customers is beyond belief. I will never stay here again.

What makes this hotel different is the great staff. Very polite and friendly and ready to help in any way they can. The best service we have enjoyed in years. Also the POWER gym and facilities are superb.
Incredible hotel near downtown Cork. It’s new, smartly decorated with a great ambiance. Staff is lovely and the rooms are really cool. I recommend eating at the Sophie; we had a delicious dinner on the terrace overlooking Cork and then breakfast inside the next morning.
Disappointed with the service overall aesthetic of the room was great. After two very specific conversations of asking for my room to be flipped on my two night stay due to heavy workload, this was not achieved. I called reception after an eleven hour work day in a production environment to a very hot and I flipped room, I had even left a tip and Thankyou note for the cleaning staff that went untouched. I called reception to ask why after two conversations this hadn’t been achieved to met with ‘ maybe someone can do it’ I did not fell confident in the response nor did I want to be absent from my room further after a long day which is why I specifically confirmed it twice. To be met with a maybe was extremely disappointing for a hotel that is $400 AUD per night. To met with a maybe was not good enough frankly. I ordered towels which came promptly. Breakfast was okay but average and on the first day my orange juice was off. I understand mistakes happen but I expected a lot more from this hotel. I did not bother with the recovery room after this service as I couldn’t be bothered with being further disappointed with the facilities. The potential is great, the execution was poor.
What a fabulous hotel. Really nice and comfortable! They issue you with earplugs, because it’s close to the railway, but we stayed for 2 nights and there really wasn’t any noise! Staff were really pleasant and helpful and the facilities were very good. We had a lovely meal on the top floor bar/restaurant. Would happily stay again!
