I think if a hotel does not have air conditioning in the year 2026, every room should at least have a fan. Also the breakfast buffet was pretty lacking, so we ordered the avocado toast (had no seasoning, very bland) and the omelette (dry and lacking flavor). The hotel is aesthetically beautiful and has nice outdoor seating but very limited parking and it’s at the top of a hill which means you’ll have a serious hike without a car.

From the minute I walked into The Address Hotel Cork, I knew we had made the right choice for our wedding. Everything was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The staff were unbelievable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they accommodated every request I had with a smile. My son has autism, and the care, kindness, and understanding they showed him meant the world to us. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our whole family felt comfortable and looked after. I had some unique ideas for the day, from Stormtroopers and Darth Vader to lighting and smoke effects, and the team embraced every single one of them. They made everything happen flawlessly, and every detail was spot on. The food was absolutely divine, the décor was stunning, and the service was exceptional throughout the entire day. Since the wedding, so many of our guests have commented on how incredible everything was—from the delicious food and beautiful venue to the fantastic staff and the overall atmosphere. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. Thank you to everyone at The Address Hotel Cork for making our day so special and creating memories that we will treasure forever. I would recommend them to anyone planning their wedding without hesitation.
The Address is a beautiful Victorian building full of period features. The entrance foyer is stylish and welcoming. On arrival we had a warm welcome from reception and then went up to our club room. I appreciate we had arrived on the hotest day of the year but it was a big disappointment to discover this premium room didn't have air-conditioning. Our bed was comfy with good pillows and lovely bed linen. However disappointment again to discover stains on the carpet and chairs which had clearly seen much better days. The next morning we went down to breakfast. Although there was a fair amount of choice the display looked quite mean.
Three days at The Address cork. The experience was a mixed one. The room was lovely, balcony with gorgeous view of Cork. The room was very Hot, no A/C controls for the guest. Only enough Towels were left for one guest despite there being two of us booked in. No robes or slippers (which when presented with a balcony, you’d think it would be free marketing to have people in address branded robes out on their balcony probably taking pictures? The breakfast had an incredibly poor selection, it was reasonably priced but I’m not sure you get what you pay for. The lunch and dinner in The North were interesting, great selections on the menu and any food we ordered was lovely - but - there seems to be communication missing between kitchen and service staff or maybe kitchen staff themselves as we ordered truffle fries twice and the first time we received chips with Parmesan on them and we were told the aioli was an oil on the chips… we knew what aioli was (not an oil) but we let it go. We ordered the same chips again mostly just to see what happened and sure enough an actual aioli was covering the chips. The biggest selling point for this hotel is the staff. Every single staff member was so incredibly obliging, genuinely friendly and it made a huge difference. The building is nice, the food is lovely, a few tweaks and this place would be golden. I would return but if I was management I’d focus on the fine details.
Enjoyed a lovely evening meal here, prior to an evening of music at the Everyman. It's a pretty setting, nice decor, good and pleasant service and tasty food. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Hats off to the chefs. There wasn't parking available onsite unfortunately so some of us were dropped off while the driver parked elsewhere. Very hilly area for those who may not be very mobile.
