WOW!!! Amazing 5* hotel. The service was one of the best we've encountered all over the world. Breakfast was really good too. Indoor pool area was beautiful. And outdoor hot tub was relaxing. Shout out to Emily at the front desk for being exceptional!!! Also, the young man Ronin (valet and bellman) was just as amazing.
As soon as we drove onto the property, we were met with the lovely valets that handled our bags and asked questions to provide any assistance with our travels details and guidance on what to do in Cork. Once we entered the lobby, the staff was lovely and very helpful. Checking in was a breeze and you felt the staff was very attentive with providing information on our stay and details about where to find the restaurants and bars on the grounds. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff wrote us a note for our anniversary and provided little sweet treats, which was a lovely touch. The amenities in our room were excellent with a soaking tub and a nice and big walk-shower. The location of the Manor was central to the college and town. They do provide a car service and have a partnership with a local taxi company that was readily available to take into town. The atmosphere of the manor was incredible. You really felt like you were in the country side and heard very little noise from the surrounding area. With all the amenities, the service the staffed provided, and relaxing environment, I feel the value of staying here is well worth the price. This was our first time staying at Hayfield Manor and I will be booking again for a longer stay, next time. I highly recommend staying here for a couples retreat to take advantage of the spa or a nice family weekend to unwind.
We had an amazing stay at Hayfield Manor! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine Irish hospitality. The manor itself is absolutely gorgeous, and we immediately felt like we were staying somewhere truly special. We loved being greeted with traditional Irish mead, and finding a special birthday dessert waiting for me in our room was such a thoughtful surprise. It was one of many little touches that made my 40th birthday celebration even more memorable. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and every meal exceeded our expectations. What made our stay truly exceptional, though, was the staff. Aoibhe (Ava), Bippen, Kiera, John O, Claire, and Laura were all incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making our stay unforgettable. Their hospitality, conversations, and attention to detail went above and beyond. Thank you to everyone at Hayfield Manor for making us feel so welcome. We will always remember our stay and hope to return one day!
While I do believe our 9-month-old was the only baby on-site during our stay, Hayfield Manor was by far the most baby-friendly hotel we stayed at during our trip. We road-tripped all around Ireland and stayed at five different hotels, and Hayfield absolutely blew us away. They had robes waiting for my husband and me, plus an adorable baby robe for our son. A beautiful little wooden crib was already set up in the room, and the staff brought all of our bags up for us and kept our car nearby in case we needed to quickly grab anything. The staff was beyond amazing, and the breakfast was hands-down the best we had the entire trip. They offered a mix of high-quality continental options along with a full menu to order from, and you could enjoy both. We also ate dinner on-site our first night, and it was incredible. They even had a baby food option with soft chopped vegetables and potatoes for our son. The indoor pool was another highlight. It was the perfect temperature and such a great way for our son to burn off some energy before bed. It was absolutely gorgeous too, with draped ceilings and Frank Sinatra-style music playing in the background. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk to Fitzgerald Park and around 25–30 minutes walk to the city center for food and exploring. Overall, this hotel was perfect, and we will 1000% be coming back.
