This full-day private wine tour to Colonia Caroya capped off a wonderful week in Cordoba for my wife and me. Our tour guide, Mariano, was fun and interesting, spoke perfect English, and knew a ton about wine. The food and wine were fantastic in both quality and quantity, and we felt we got a great value. We couldn't have asked for a better day and wish Mariano the very best of luck!
Best winery tour of many. Pre tour communication with Mariano was excellent. He speaks perfect English and we enjoyed a lovely hour ride to the historic Colonia Coroya Winery. At the winery our tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, the winery impressive and the story of the Italian founders inspirational. We had a fun tasting along with cheese and the famous Caroya salami. The second winery was close by and completely different. They are very modern and experimental in their wine production and aging techniques. We enjoyed the second tasting of the day and learned a lot about wine. Lunch and the wine pairing at the second winery was one of the best meals we had in three weeks in Argentina. The striped artesanal ravioli with beef and vegetable filling was exquisite. There was a lamb pate that I'm still thinking about. Outstanding tour and value.
This was a wonderful day and a highlight of our trip to Argentina. The day started with a pickup at our AirBnb in a comfortable van. The guide provided water and a snack. We were in a private tour for our group of 3. We toured two local wineries, and our guide, Mariano, was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and history of each winery. The lunch was an experience in and of itself! We visited in early spring and some of the vines were starting to grow. It was a lovely day and we highly recommend this tour and Mariano as your guide.

Amazing communication and tour by Mario. Full of interesting information about wine in the region. Enjoyed and appreciated everything I learnt and loved the wines I tried and wineries visited. Cordoba wines really need to start exporting more and should be available at the airport too. In my opinion I enjoyed them more than most of the Mendoza wines I tried and wish I could’ve bought more! Wonderful day out and fantastic wine tour company. Thank you for a memorable experience (and the delicious alfajores too!)
My friend and I did a private wine tour to Colonia Caroya with our wonderful tour guide Mariano! We had a lovely time driving through the town, making a pitstop at the beautiful Estancia de Jesus Maria before heading to Bodega La Caroyense. (My fave was the Espumante Caroyense Piu Brut!) Next stop - lunch at the beautiful Bodega Terra Camiare where we walked through the vineyard after a nice meal paired with wine! Last stop was my favorite! We visited a lovely new family vineyard called Gavianna. We learned about their winemaking, the family who run it and sat in a beautiful building designed by the winemakers son who is a super talented architect! As we sat around a beautiful dining table tasting wines all together, it was the perfect way to end the day expertly curated by Mariano & Cordoba Wine Travel! An expected treat that I highly recommend!
We are really glad we chose this Wine tour with Córdoba Wine Travel! We got to taste many nice wines from the area from different wine producers, from historic family businesses to small local producers and commercial vinyards. Mariano gave us a lot of information about all the wines and the food, but also on the cultural and historical aspects of the region and Argentina! Great day 5/5!

We had such a great day. Two beautiful and different wineries, wine was so nice and we had such an array of tastings. Mariano was great and so attentive to us. He made our day very comfortable and fun. Emiliano in the second winery was a great tour guide!
Excellent tour. Well worth the money. Pick up from the hotel - comfortable, roomy car with water, snack and map provided. Air conditioning. Excellent guide. We were the only people on the tour which was really good. Day was planned well. Guide was so knowledgeable. He spoke very good English and was easy to understand and talk to. Lunch with wine pairings was fantastic and we had plenty of time so it was very relaxed.
An amazing time! Full day with lots of wine. The two tours were thoughtfully chosen to offer different and unique experiences, one more historical and one more modern. Our guide was great and really put a lot of thought into providing a special experience. Got picked up from the hotel, alfajor and water bottles and AC available in the car. Mariano was understanding and helpful when we accidentally booked the wrong date. Lunch was AMAZING and pairings were all from other regions of cordoba! Such a special and intimate experience, got to experience life in the country outside of the city a bit. Mariano was flexible too when we wanted to stop for a quick coffee before the next tour, and even provided umbrellas for share for walks in the vineyards. So wonderful! Can’t recommend this tour enough. You can tell they genuinely care about wine and creating a special experience.
From pickup until the drop off at the hostel everything was perfectly arranged by Laura and Mariano. We messaged them and got a quick response that they could provide us with a private tour the next day. The bodegas and the scenery were beautiful and authentic. In addition the staff was very polite. Mariano was in general a very nice person who was able to give a lot of info about the wines and history of the bodegas. He spoke perfect English and was happy to translate / guide us ourselves when no English tour guides were available. The included lunch was amazing and a special experience in its own way. The passion and dedication from the owners towards the tour was very noticeable and made for a very nice experience.
We had an amazing day with Laura. Although English speakers were unavailable at both wineries, Laura translated seamlessly. We learned the history of both bodegas and the processes they use to make the wine. Lunch was amazing—gastronomic punch is a perfect translation. We both agreed we need to return sometime for dinner. We have been on many wine tours and this was our favorite. Laura mentioned they did a Saturday night tour with sparkling wine and dinner, hoping to try that someday!

Absolutely fantastic day. The wineries were great, and it was really interesting to hear about the history of Cordoban wine and how it was made, as well as having a good amount to taste! The lunch was absolutely spectacular. You can tell that Martin, the chef, trained in some of the best restaurants in France, as each course was to die for! Laura was such a wonderful guide, and answered all of our questions. We have been on a number of different wine tours in the past, but this was definitely the best

We traveled with Mariano da Córdoba wine travel, picked us up at the hotel Amerian punctual.. All well organized and with enough time to take advantage of. We were lucky to be in the period of the vineyard and we still witnessed the discharge of the grapes, with the right to taste some bits ... A harmonized lunch at La Caroyense closed the program. Mariano very attentive and professional led very well the tour! Very good and super recommend the tour!

The longest avenue in South America surrounded and crowned by trees (bananas) Barilatte, the richest ice creams Forget about salame and cold meats; if you combine it with that wine from wineries of your own production, a love at first sight! and you are at most 40 minutes from other very picturesque places...

We took the tour on a sunny Sunday. Laura, our guide and sommelier, was perfect! He guided us and shared the history of each of the wineries visited and was available at all times to answer questions and support wine choices. The paired lunch was delicious! And they were super careful preparing special foods for my friend who has food allergies. I recommend the Córdoba Wine Tour! There are award-winning wines outside of Mendoza! I was surprised! ;-)
