Guided Tour to the most outstanding monument of Cordoba, the Mosque-Cathedral. It has been declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. After the conquest of the city by the Christian army the Mosque became Cathedral and occupied several warehouses due to the enlargement of the Caliph Al-Hakam II for liturgical celebrations. Fatima did a fantastic job. She was a wealth of knowledge. The tour could have been another half hour but she filled every minute we had. Great value in that we could stay inside Mosque afterwards for a bit and also use ticket to see other sites in Cordoba afterwards. She was clear to listen to and I appreciated her sense of humor. Highly recommend.

The Mosque-Cathedral is indescribable. It is something everyone should experience if they have the opportunity. We took a very large tour due to availability, and wished we’d been able to go in a smaller group, but it was still well worth it to truly understand all of the nuances of the history and architecture.
The tour operators were very organized and connected us immediately with our tour guide, Rebecca. She was phenomenal. Funny, interesting, knowledgeable, and extremely personable. She is a trained historian and full of enthusiasm. My wife and I are both teachers so we have high expectations for effectively delivering lots of information in a limited time with an often distracted audience. Our guide was outstanding. She found ways to connect with everyone in the group. She clearly loved the history of the mosque turned cathedral and its significance. I learned so much. The two hours flew by and I’d have happily gone another two. I felt so fortunate to have had Rebecca guide us. The Mezquita is an inspiring place and it was wonderful to see the Roman, Visigothic, Islamic, and Catholic layers of its history. I have been fortunate to also visit the Hagia Sophia and I found the Mezquita equally inspiring.

We absolutely loved our tour of the Mosque cathedral. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the history of Cordoba and the building. She made it really interesting by setting little quizzes as we went around and encouraging us to think about why or what had been happening during the historic periods. What a beautiful mosque turned cathedral!
Alvaro was biased and uninformed. Made an offensive joke right off the bat and even made up historical figures like a Jewish man named “sharboot” who wrote the Arabic inscriptions on the mihrab of Hegem. Remove my reviews all you want but I am saying facts

This place was even more amazing than I imagined!. A church and mosque in one with so much history over the decades. It can house 44,000 people and has 60 chapels, 4 of them are still in use today. You can even get married there! Well worth a tour!

This was an excellent tour. Albero was such a great guide. He explained everything very clearly, with lots of detail and made it relatable with references to Star Wars characters etc! Our tour guide for a small group was Anna. She was EXCELLENT. Knowledgeable, funny, concise, and easy to understand. Would recommend her without reservation and this smaller group size was perfect for this venue (Cordoba Mosque Cathedral) because it was much easier to hear with the echoes and other visitor groups. Very interesting and learning experience.
