This is a fantastic experience- highly recommend! No photos or videos allowed (disappointing, but totally understandable)
The show was very good. The seats were not in row 1 as shown on the plan when booked in June. We were informed that our premium ticket was actually in row4 at the end of the performance area with the non premium seats. I was not impressed. The premium seat had a back but was extremely uncomfortable. There was another level of premium in the position that i booked row one lateral on comfortable seats. However the premium tripadvisor ticket did not actually designate premium lateral on the ticket.
Loved the show, beautiful and amazing horses. We were concerned by the very last performance as we felt it went on too long for the horse & he seemed to be under too much pressure & certainly did not seem to enjoy it any more. Directing people to their seats was poor & many ended up in wrong seats & had to move.
I attended the show on 16 October 2026 at 8 pm. The venue is stunning, the horses are beautiful and the flamenco adds a lovely atmosphere. The highlight for me was clearly the doma vaquera act with the garrocha. The rider guided his horse one-handed with barely visible aids and no force at all. The horse was genuinely collected, attentive and relaxed. That was true horsemanship and worth the visit on its own. That made the high-school acts all the more troubling. Many horses were held for long periods in strong hyperflexion (chin almost on the chest). A levade was shown from this position, and several caprioles were performed repeatedly with very tightly adjusted auxiliary reins. The horses frequently pinned their ears, swished their tails and opened their mouths. These are well-known signs of stress or discomfort. Forced hyperflexion has been banned in competition since 2010. Anyone who knows horses will probably notice this too. The vaquera act shows it can be done differently, and I hope the organisers take it as their model. I have also sent my observations directly to Córdoba Ecuestre.
Bought the fast track premium tickets which gave a seat number and missed the very long queue so worth doing , though the standard tickets will probably have you seated closer to the ring
Beautiful horses but very poorly organized. The premium tour and seating was a hoax. The ticket included a 30 min tour in our selected language which never happened. We were in the premium line outside at 8:30pm for the 9:00pm Show in 99 degree weather. At 8:50pm we were rushed in to our seats. They were bleacher seats with a paper thin cushion and a pole blocking our view. Very disappointed and not worth our time nor money.
Cordoba stables and horses- a pleasant way to spend an hour and the bar in the street nearby was great too. The horses are beautiful and the venue is well organised.
This was a highlight of our Cordoba trip. We all enjoyed the beautiful horses and flamenco. We had fantastic seats in the front row and were close enough to be sprayed with sand when the horses cantered past.
Must see show. Hour long but Great. The horses were just great. Not a bad seat in the house as the performers make sure that they cover all the sides.
Am absolutely amazing experience! To see these majestic horses, riders and dancers in their historical setting was breathtaking. I would recommend to anyone.
The place is beautiful and I love the history that they are carrying on with these stables being hundreds of years old. There was an amazing vision. However, in that vision, the horses spent most of their time in pastures, then had training and stable time. Today, these poor horses live their entire lives in the stalls or being aggressively trained/ridden for performance. Many of the horses appeared shut down and uncomfortable. There were horses kicking in their stalls and trying to shake their heads due to the ropes they were tied to and not being able to itch/move. It was downright depressing and I can’t believe that the staff is selling it all as carrying on royal tradition (which would be amazing!!) when they are clearly not. I am 100% sure that King Phillip would be horribly disappointed if he saw what was being done to those horses today. Sure, they are disciplined and perform well… but what other choice do they have? Their entire life is a small stable and performing for the masses. I regret giving my money and am still horrified that these horses don’t get to graze and be together and literally “horse around” like all horses, especially the most regal and trained, should be allowed to do. Logistically, we also paid for a “front row” premium seat vs. the stands and it turned out there are THREE rows in premium, so we weren't even in the front. The whole thing is just a money grab and it was sad.
Great experience with a wonderfully coordinated show. Horses were in beautiful condition and great presentation. Pre bought our tickets with no delay entering and being seated. Highly recommended.
A wonderful experience. We went in the morning to see the training take place and took pictures, as you are not allowed to take pictures during the show. The show was first class and although only 2 parts where horse and human dance together the professionalism of the riders was wonderful.
A great show. With your ticket you can enter to watch the train Ning a few hours before the show begins. Recommend to purchase tickets with the option to enter 30 minutes before the show to see the preparation, but also to have a reserved seat at the side of the arena with an excellent view
Beautiful well trained horses. Good dressage display, although not spectacular. If you've seen one of the performances at the Vienna school, for example, you may be disappointed. We paid for general admission tickets and you basically get a thin cushion on a hard bench with no back rest. The premium ticket gives you a more comfortable chair on the long side of the arena, although don't think there is much viewing advantage. One disappointment was the ban on photography. Can understand that may not be advisable whilst horses are performing but no photo call even at the end of the show.
This is not a show but a Spectacular. I can’t express enough how much I and I think ALL the spectators were awestruck. Truly Wonderful.
The general admittance was an extremely reasonable price for a first class show of horsemanshi. It also allowed me to visit the stables earlier in the day.
Didn't get my seating assignment when I entered the event. After seating myself in general admission. I learned that I had to go back to the entrance and request a specific seat.
Very disappointing show. Too much of the same movements. Only one Flamingo dancer who was low energy, no passion and did only two dances. They don’t let you take pictures so God forbid the truth about their false advertising is revealed. Considering how little it costs to see the show, Inwould recommend it if you have nothing else to do but beware. You need to have low expections.
The show was really great. During the high-level dressage, spurs were used (though not all of them were blunt), and one of the horses had a sore belly. That always makes me wonder whether I should support it. I also got the feeling that they wanted to get rid of the audience as quickly as possible after the show. Even though the show took place at noon, we weren’t allowed to visit the stables.
The riders perform to the cheaper seats- so booking premium seats is not really worth it. What I saw of the performance looked great
Premium prices are not necessary. The show is not long enough and seating for the lowest price is good
This was a fantastic night out in the original Stables which were purpose built in the 1500s On display were a team of unbelievably trained Andalusian horses specifically bred and trained for this purpose And it’s obvious the hard work has paid off. The show runs for 70 minutes and that’s about the right amount of time for this performance of skill and entertainment. Drinks are available for purchase and no matter where you sit the view is great. The only disappointment is the ban on photography. It is a perfect show to photograph for personal memories.
I paid for Premium seating Seat 52 and a pole obstructed my view of the show very disappointed.. we were also supposed to see horses warming up no clue to where that was . The show itself was good what I could see of it
This was an amazing show of horsemanship with the Andalusian horses and their rider. I was engaged the entire time and in awe of these stunning horses. It is a must see show while in Cordoba to see the local equestrian in action.
Excellent value for money. Riding to the highest standard. Beautiful horses with talented riders. Spellbound.
Enjoyed this more than the Flamenco show I saw in Cordoba. Only when the horses were up on their rear legs did I worry about them, the rest of the time they seemed strong and pleased to be out for a run. Something different if you are not a horse person. No photos allowed during the performance so grab some at each end.
Fabulous show showing the grace and skill of both the horses and riders!! Loved it!! 🐎 The addition of Flamenco interaction was beautiful to watch!! 💃🏻 Outstanding outdoor venue! An absolute ‘must see’ when visiting Cordoba!!
The show was better than we anticipated. The horses are absolutely amazing. Very much worth your time.
We weren’t allowed to take photos of the show even without flash. The horses were magnificent but it is tiresome to never be told until we have purchased tickets that photos won’t be allowed
Excellent show! The venue was quaint with character. We had general seating and arrived about 1/2 hour early. This really isn't necessary as you do have assigned seats.
Underwhelming to say the least
A very pleasant evening spent watching the beautiful horses & their riders. I bought the slightly more expensive ticket that gave access to the preparation area before the show began. We could see the horses up close here. Not sure if this would appeal to everyone but I enjoyed the extra 30 minutes & the allocated seating.
We enjoyed seeing the beautiful horses up close before the show began. It was interesting to learn about the Andalusian horses.
I had always wanted to see the Andalusian horses since I was a young child. I was a lovely show, beautiful and well trained horses. Premium ticket gets you a walk past the horses while they are being prepared and you may be able to pat them. Only tip I have, it ticket die t from the website so that you can choose your own seat. Unfortunately with Viator, you can not choose. We did have a good view though, no complaints.
The most stunning backdrop at these magnificent old stables makes the show spectacular. It's very relaxed, you feel most welcome. A wonderful evening. If you don't have time to visit the stables beforehand go in the morning instead to see the horses up close and watch the practice. Do not miss this part of history.
Show was very entertaining but attendees cannot video or take pictures. However, the show was a very cultural experience of part of Cordoba’s history.
We enjoyed the show. The riders and the horses were amazing how they worked together. Unimpressed by the entry process. Apparently there are premium and non-premium tickets. It was confusing as to who could enter and when. Watching the staff with the entries, it seemed like they were doing it for the first time.
The horses and trainers were amazing The event was very well organized! I would recommend to my friends and family
If you buy the premium ticket, you get in early and see the horses up close. It is a dressage show. The flamico dancer interaction with the horse was lovely.
This show was amazing value for money. It was an exceptional experience and one not to be missed when visiting Cordoba. It was an intimate venue and well thought out. However, as someone with back issues, the seats were slightly uncomfortable so opting for the premium tickets may be advisable for those in a similar situation. It really was a unique experience and the horses were stunning.
Please note that taking photos and videos is prohibited and not allowed. It is a 1-hour show - beautiful. The horses are amazing.
An exciting display of the gorgeous Andalusian horses, horsemanship and Flamenco. We chose the Premium pass to view the stables prior to the actual event. Well worth it!
We loved it! Horses immaculate flamenco dancers amazing
Soo clever, a new experience for us but a really good and authentic experience. Seeing the relationship between man ( woman ) and horse is humbling
This was a wonderful show, the horses were beautiful and their dancing magic. It is a small hall, quite rustic with the seats all at one end but this means you can get fully immersed in the experience. The night we went there were two very moving duets between horse and flamenco dancer, you could almost see the thread of emotional connection between human and animal. Also a spectacular performance by four snow white horses on long reins who performed some of the 'airs above the ground', the haute ecole of dressage. It's not the Spanish Riding School of Vienna and it shouldn't be compared. It has equal charm but more intimacy and with the added spanish music and flamenco dancers, it is a must when visiting Cordoba. The audience is small so you must book your tickets in advance. It was the highlight of our visit.
This was a greatest show. Pay the extra few dollars for the early entry. It's heated. We had a wonderful time.
Very cool experience. We took a 1:10pm train from Seville to Cordoba. Had lunch, walked around, group tour of the mosque and then 90 mins before the show. Get there 30 mins early to get seated and can go to stables right next to ring to be up close with horses. Show was over by 8:05 and we were on 8:43 train back to Seville. Great day trip and recommend the horse show. I personally wouldn’t travel just for this but as part of the overall city cultural experience it was excellent. Like everything else here, the people are so friendly and care about what they do.
I have no words. The show is absolutely extraordinary. The beautifulandalucian horses, their riders and the flamenco dancers, an experience not to miss. The presentation is out of this world. Very, very impress. The Premium tickets are worth it.
