Cordoba Mosque-cathedral Guided Tour With Priority Access

We made a spontaneous day trip from Sevilla to Córdoba specifically to see the Mosque-Cathedral. We picked Oway Tours based on reviews here on TripAdvisor and could not have been happier with our choice. Jose, our guide, was super knowledgeable about the history and architecture, he was friendly, kind, and great with questions/answers. His English was excellent and was totally cool with my hit-and-miss Spanish questions. One other thing we really appreciated was the wired earbuds on the Bluetooth radios. Some other tours have the over-the-ear, single ear headphones that work intermittently, at best. There's a time and place for fancier tech, but a tour such as this is not it. I find old school is best — it just works. Check out Oway — they do a great job!

A good tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide who explained the history of the mosque cathedral in great detail. The mosque/cathedral is definitely a must do and the tour was well organised.

My wife and I joined this tour during our recent wider tour of Andalusia. We booked it through Viator but the tour was delivered by OWAY Tours. Christina was our guide for this English tour and she was excellent. Headsets were provided which enabled us to wander away from the group to take photographs but still remain in touch with the commentary. Christina’s delivery was excellent, easy to understand and we were able to ask questions as and when required. The tour lasted for two hours and covered every aspect and history of the Mosque-Cathedral. Very highly recommended

OWAY tours, and our guide Joaquin were excellent. It was easy to meet up with their instructions. Little fuss to confirm our tickets once we were there. The audio system worked well. Our guide (Joaquin) was easy to understand in English and his information was at the right level to provide great insight and appreciation for this magnificent site. Overall, the Cordoba Mosque-Cathedral was far more than we expected. Absolutely beautiful and an opportunity for a non-Muslim to see inside a Mosque. It is stunning.

During the tour we tried to ask the tour guide some question but he treated us like kids in school, he was aggressive on where we should stand and how to follow , he was not polite at all, also with short answers to our questions, he just wanted to end the tour and get rid of us. the guy with glasses and blond hair I'm talking about. Sorry but it was a bad tour with this guy.

Things were a bit disorganized and times changed. Our guide was know legible but seemed frazzled by noise and so many people he had and other visiting at the same time. Next time would probably do the night tour

The informations during the tour were satisfying, but the guide wasn’t engaging or enthusiastic. Actually it seemed that he was annoyed by been there. The price in my opinion is too high compared to the normal entrance fee, with the audio guide you get the same info and you can see everything at your own pace.

the monument is exceptional and especially not to be missed passing by Cordoba; having taken a guided tour we could only see what the guide wanted; we could not admire all the alleys and it is a shame advice: make the tour without guide , at his pace

We took the free tour and it was a real enjoyment. Guide Jose, has everything: knowledge, clarity to transmit a lot of information in a didactic and enjoyable way and all with a lot of good humor and good vibes. Fully recommended, good company, well organized, Just a nuance, in the confirmation email of the Tour Cordoba Monumental give information of 2 meeting points. Attached photo. This would have to be corrected because on the one hand they say that the meeting point is Main Gate del Alcazar and on the other hand below it says that the meeting point is Plaza del Triunfo.

We did the tour in Spanish with Joaquin. We really liked the way he did the tour, giving a lot of important information and some funny facts. Maybe a little expensive considering there were many of us but it is the standard price we have seen for guided tours. Recommended

Very happy with the guide we got, Paloma. He told us the history of the mosque and several anecdotes and curiosities of it. Visiting the mosque without a guide I do not advise you pq you will not value that artwork as it deserves.
