An interesting tour round the city giving an overview of where things are in relation to each other. We did the whole tour first, then repeated the tour getting off at spots that interested us. The on-board commentary was very variable according to which bus you were on. Some were very clear, others were crackly and impossible to understand. The shade options also varied from bus to bus. When the commentary was clear it was very informative.

We had a little train ride to Cordoba from Seville …so easy then we caught the hop on outside the station Really disappointed with this tour …we usually use hop on hop off when we visit new cities but this was an expensive waste of money ….it skirts around the city and there isn’t a lot to see and it only came once an hour A better option to visit Mezquita and Real los Christianos and the Roman bridge is to get the number 3 bus just outside the railway station which stops outside the Mezquita and is so regular … The Mezquita is amazing …and the little streets behind with the patios …we didn’t have time to go to the palace as the hop on took too long which was a shame
Always use hop on hop off buses in other cities but this was the worst. There were very few buses, had to wait an hour to get on a bus. Decided to do the whole tour first and then choose where to get off but worried about how long we would have to wait to get back. Tried the double decker bus next day, no signs as to where you pick it up or timetable. Decided to rely on taxis which are very cheap.
IT WAS TERRIBLE. We wasted 2 hours at various stops WAITING for the bus that never came. Stay away..!!!
This bus was a great way to get introduced to Cordoba. Our "minibus" driver was especially great since he would point out the sites that were being explained on the audio guide and slowed down so we could get pictures. I dropped one star since some of the stops on the website's map are not accurate and need to be updated. For stop 7, the location that opened in Google Maps was actually across the street from the actual bus stop. Thankfully, the bus driver picked us up and explained. We didn't realize that there were signs at each stop, since some cities do not have proper signage.
The bus did not have audio! Took ages for it to actually turn up. Had to get off at an office to book tickets for the Mezquita to be told there was no space. We left plenty of time to get there. There is no option to book your space when you pay for the bus. They are now making it very difficult to get a refund!!! I would avoid if I were you!
Better not to leave the bus, otherwise you can wait for the next bus until the hell freezes over. Many plugs didn’t work, so you can try to find one which functions
An hour round trip taking in all the sights with good commentary. Timetable when the next bus arrives should be better
We waited for the bus to arrive, but when it got to us we were told that there were no vacant seats. Finally got on the next bus.The bus driver told us if we wanted ear buds we had to pay 1.5 euros per person. The driver did not offer us a map of where we were going. But the worse part of it all, the sound system was just awful! The ear buds kept cutting out so we heard almost nothing of the location history. We also noticed that everyone else just took them out. We’ve never had to pay for the earbuds in the past and the 3 euro just added insult to injury. I will be contacting the Viator management team when we get back to the States.
Poor service. No coordination and significant delays. I think they have only one bus which completes the circle on one line. It took more than an hour for bus to come at Stop 8 when I reached Train station around 10 am from Madrid. We got off the bus at Cathedral. When we wanted to catch the bus again it agin took more than an hour. I don't think it is worth to buy the tickets for this bus. Its a small town. Can take local bus from train station to reach the center and then walk around all the main attractions rather than wasting time to wait and money.
Waste of money. We arrived at bus stop 8 and waited for an hour only for no bus to show up. We got impatient and frustrated under the heat of the sun and so decided to take the public transport instead. Do not buy if you plan to start at stop 8
Pre-booked our 48 hrs ticket before arriving in Cordoba. Travelled firstly on the blue line, stopping at Palacio Viana to view the Patios (included in the price of the ticket). Had an excellent guided evening walk around the Jewish Quarter with Natalie as our guide (again included in the price of the ticket). Followed the red route the following day - slightly less interesting but gave a good overview of the bigger city. App not 100% accurate for tracking bus arrivals and disappointed Stop 1 was out of use for pick up. Staff friendly and helpful and overall good value.
We visited Cordoba on Saturday, July 5, 2025 and arrived to the bus station from Seville. We walk to the city tour bus stop 8 red line across the street from bus station at 11:50 and waited for more than hour. This company has an app with schedules and to see the buses routes. The bus did not come at 12:11, 12:31, or 12:51 PM (see picture attached) and were supposed to, so I contacted the main office in WhatsApp and they wrote that there will be a bus leaving stop 1 at 13:21 but I was in stop 8 central bus station which is far from stop 1. I also noticed that there was only one bus working at the time and it was servicing the blue line not even the red line. Basically, they put a schedule but don’t follow it. I contacted them a few days after for a refund and they said not possible because there were buses available which we all know it is a lie. I had to spend money in 2 taxis in order to see Cordoba. My city tour code is CSS0013624309. ( see picture attached) They told me that I can use the ticket next year but Spain is far and airfare is costly from the USA. I asked for a refund and they said no again. Very disappointed! ☹️ Now, Cordoba is beautiful and the Mezquita Cathedral is awesome as well. Visit but don’t buy from City Sightseeing because they sell a service that they don’t provide in the city of Cordoba, Andalucia, Spain. Thank you.
We got the minibus tour and it was an incredible experience. It stops at all the Ferdinand churches, Palacio de Viana, and lots of other interesting monuments. A tour of the Mosque-Cathedral is included as part of it, and the patios are well worth visiting. One of the tour operator staff, Helio, is so lovely and was happy to answer any questions. He also went out of his way to show us where one of the monuments are.
Thus your was an expensive waste of time. The tour guide would occasionally point and say the name of a plaza or patio but offer no other context or information but most of the time he pointed and said nothing. It’s too bad as the town seemed charming and interesting and we would have enjoyed learning more. We eventually got off and walked back to the hotel…instead 120 euros we could have taken a taxi to the same point and we’d have been happier.
Never received the tickets. Put them on my credit card and we had to go to a kiosk and purchased the tickets again. Would like a credit.
Our experience with a red bus (long route) in Cordoba after purchasing a ticket online: First off, I wanted to make use of the 10% discount you get when you show your ticket from a previous city. Unfortunately, we walked by 3 stops and there was no representative from City Sightseeing in sight. Ended up buying online and walking to stop 1 of the route (as it was close and we thought that would make sense). When we got there, there was a sign saying that that stop was cancelled for the red route and we should walk to stop 16. This is me (35y, f) and my 4-year old daughter, in rainy/windy and cold weather. None of this was notified in the app. At stop 16, the bus was nearly 20 minutes late (compared to the schedule shown in the app) and again, there was no representative from City Sightseeing to be seen. Once we got on the bus, the vast majority of the audio-outlets did not work. This was clearly known to the company upfront as many of them were visibly broken or even taped over. Even with only a handful of passengers on board, we were unable to find an available, working outlet. In addition, our driver did not announce any stops, so together with the fact that the audio did not work, we barely had an idea where we were. It felt like a very expensive public bus. We had a great experience with City Sightseeing in Sevilla but this really felt like a rip-off. I submitted a complaint through Whatsapp and the online website form and received disappointing responses that only related to the fact that the bus was late (apparently due to local events) and that stop 1 was still operational for the micro-bus route (which I never contested). None of the other points were addressed. I paid €25 and received a ridiculous €5 refund. Very disappointing customer service and not worth the money at all.
Fernando Aguilera, our driver was simply the best. But so was Andres our guide for the Jewish quarters. I hope I have their names right!!! What a wonderful experience and the best way to get as many important sights in, a short period of time. Great value and top info. Highly recommended!!!
Two routes - one on a big bus and one on a small one through the old narrow streets. Both are excellent and convenient, although the big bus is quite infrequent and its timetable is more fiction than reality. We like these overview tours as a way of orienting to a city, especially given some mobility issues. Would rate excellent if frequency were better and timetable more reliable.
It was good for first timers to see the layout of the city and a quick history info. I would recommend the Bug Bus than the smaller van as you can see better during the tour.
No value for the money paid. Once you step off this bus you never ever see it again. The map gave little info of the stops and if ever you see one you see people waiting and waiting and waiting.
A wonderful city and the two-bus offer enables access to the narrow streets of the old town. Disappointing that we (and many other passengers) couldn't find working audio consoles on the double-deckers so the only commentary we heard was on the (newer) minibuses on the inner route. Our tour was in low season when buses are less frequent so lots of waiting around. An option to track buses via the app would be a simple and helpful addition.
It was nice as we had choice between small buses and the double decker…schedule good we waited a bit but np there but the disappointment was that it changed its route for reasons they did not explained so we were dropped far from where we wanted to be.
Quick, one hour circle around Cordoba that provides a good overview and layout of the city. Audioguides could use some technology maintenance to help with volume adjustments.
The driver didn't drive too fast and you could see the sights properly. Worth doing. I did both lines.. was a but confusing changing buses.
The tour guide is helpful if your lazy to walk around and the tour bus covers a lot of area. Plus the tour guide are friendly and helpful
The driver was friendly and helpful. The audio guide did not provide much information about the city. You get to see the city but that's about it.
There are 2 routes. I enjoyed both. I like having the narration in my language. Most stops went quick picking people up. Always space. I like the blue/small bus route best. Good use of my time and money.
There were two one hour bus tours for €22 ; the double decker bus toured the wider expanse of Cordoba and gave us a better idea of how big the city is; the smaller, mini bus toured the narrow streets of the historic city. We didn’t hop on and off but used the tours to appreciate more of this amazing city, having walked much of it during our previous couple of days, exploring patios. Good commentary from the driver of the minibus as well as the audio tape on both.
Fast and easy way to get to know all the important spots in Córdoba. The staff were all friendly. I would recommend taking this bus tour.
We use similar tours to this wherever we visit in Spain. No criticism is intended of the provider here but we were left with the impression that Córdoba just doesn't have enough places of interest to fill a tour of this nature. We were anxiously waiting for the end way before the route was complete. Save your €22 would be my advice!
The bus drivers we encountered throughout the day along with the sightseeing staff were super friendly and very helpful. The buses didn’t run as frequently (maybe as it was January and less busy) so waiting times were up to an hour at stops. However, we stayed on the bus until we stopped for lunch at the Cathedral and spent the afternoon there before finishing the route later on. Certainly not as much to see as the bigger cities but well worth the trip and a great day out!
It is a good idea in theory to have a hop on hop off bus to see multiple things but the fact that we would have to wait an hour before it would come back to the same place, doesnt allow to see many sites along the way in on day. We took the outside loop first and it really wasn't feasible to even see the points of interest without getting off. The inner loop was better, and could see multiple things without getting off. It was possible that since it wasn't high visitor season, the stops were a lot less frequent. I think if it would come every 15 minutes, it would have been worth the money,
Another good bus trip. Was only there for the day so used it to orientate ourselves and then hop on and off. Liked the fact that it was allowed through the old part of the town as so few cars etc are. Look down the alleys and through gates and you will see some lovely homes and gardens that you cannot on foot. All in all we enjoyed the bus trip and the stops were well marked and easy to find. Once again, use a guidebook as sometimes they aren't clear what you are supposed to be looking at (don't say "on the right" very often).
this isn't a hop on hop off service. We had hoped to take the bus from the train station to the cathedral but it didn't come and there wasn't even a permanent sign to show you where the stop was. We walked all the way around the station to look. Eventually we walked the 20 mins to the cathedral as we had already booked an entry which we couldnt miss. By luck the bus was just about to leave when we found the stop after the cathedral. We did a tour around the city and tried to take the bus back to the station. Again the bus didn't appear and we had to walk there. The sign at the train staton is a temporary board that the company put out - the stop is beside the taxi rank. There are no timetables at any of the stops and even though the driver told us it ran every 30 mins. we did not see another bus.
Cordoba is such a quaint city full of history the family enjoyed the ability to see where to explore next the catch the bus again
Very educational and full of information. Love the length and the weather. There were no delays. We recommended and would do it again.
The worst experience ever. The driver did not speak English. Charged us 22 euro per person, gave a map with no explanations. Slow drive through the city and drop off near historical center. We were not told that a small bus was available and did not use it. Our ticket included some “free drinks” that we did not know about, did not need, and did not use. The real price of the ticket should be 12 euro if we refuse “extras”. Got on the bus to get to train station. Should’ve taken taxi. Cheaper and faster. 44 euro waisted plus a bad feeling you were fooled.
The Jewish quarter tour included in the fee was very good. The guide Ricardo Bon was very good and knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. The audio guide on the bus was also good and clear. We found it a very helpful way to see Cordoba in the heat. The ticket also included the entrance to the Palacio de Viana which was also very good .
Short but nice. First driver was nice, second not very personable. City with very rich history. We enjoyed it. Greeter was nice and helpful
We selected the bus that had a roof as it was very hot. The commentary was excellent and very clear. A great way to see the city.
Great way to see the sights of Cordoba in a convenient way. Was super hot in June, so we concentrated the trip before lunch. Commentary was fine and there were plenty of bus stops that were regularly serviced - every half hour. The hop on hop off bus had two loops. Recommend doing both. Only recommendation I would give to the bus service is perhaps to start the circuit during the hot period before 10am (ie 8.30 or 9am).
The commentary didn’t give you the stop number. So you were guessing where you were on the map. And the small bus, the driver gave lots of additional commentary (to the recorded itinerary ) & photo stops, but he only spoke Spanish. So we had no idea what he was saying or what we were looking at. Given that we have used the on off bus in many parts of the world. This was a poor experience.
I have never had such an awful experience on a tour bus. No explanations of the few sights we saw, we stopped once to let some people off. The rest of the time was spent driving, rapidly, through mainly commercial areas of Córdoba. The driver refused to give us head phones or tour guide maps. We had no idea what we saw as we sped past the historical buildings, in the distance. I have been on many tourist buses, Valencia, Cartagena, Granada, Barcelona etc. and this was the worst one and the most expensive at 23€ per person.
Tried to use the site to get tickets and couldn’t get them in time so we bought them at an agency. Now we are told no refund for the first two paid but not completely delivered. Will need to get charge cancelled as a duplicate. Very poor System..
Purchasing the tickets were great. The guy was helpful and informative. To me, that was the only positive and I have used this service in at least 4 other cities. I know it’s the off season but the wait times is huge. We waited over an hour one day for the bigger of the 2 buses. On the little bus, I was getting so wound up! I think the driver was a disgrace! For the whole journey, he was playing with his mobile phone. He had 3. I’m guessing 2 of them may have been work ones but I’m 90% sure it was his personal phone he was using. I could see his screen and I know it was nothing work related. I was worried for our safety as he hardly looked at the road. Just fleeting glances. Luckily we didn’t have the same experience on the bigger bus but I tried the headphones in 4 different jack points and I couldn’t hear a thing. The headphones are new and I did get some more later which were fine but then again I also sat in a different spot. So I don’t know if it was the headphones or the ports. I will use this company again but not if I ever went back to cordoba. Most of the time I didn’t know where I was and it always took a while to find a stop to get back on the bus.
I was not informed where to get on the bus. Even with a map of the stops that was not particularly informative . Cordoba is best walked around as it’s full of narrow quaint streets so a bus trip is unnecessary
The driver was really personable. He stopped to allow us to take photos and offered to take photos of us
This is one of the best things to do in Cordoba so you can see all the sights. Kid friendly. This bus saved us much walking time and we got to see the main attractions.
We have used this type of tour many times in the past, and this experience did not disappoint us. A good way to move around town.
