This particular tour from Copenhagen to Lund and Malmo, Sweden was a great experience. Our tour guide, Mustapha, was also outstanding. The audio history to and from was excellent and Mustapha took the time to also augment much that made for an awesome trip! This trip/you is highly recommended.

We scheduled this tour on our last day in Copenhagen - and it was one of our favorite experiences on our entire 2-week Scandinavian trip. Our guide Petra was amazing! She was ready & waiting for us in the lobby of our hotel as the tour began with her driving us across the Oresund Bridge and into Sweden. Both Lund & Malmö were fantastic. We learned so much history from Petra, but also an understanding of what issues are currently very important to those cities & to Sweden as a country. She also recommended the Swedish Meatballs for lunch in Malmö - and they did not disappoint! Lastly, we rode in the first class car on the train back to Copenhagen’s Central Station. When we planned our trip, we were hoping to spend a day in Sweden - and doing it with Petra was absolutely perfect!
Our tour guide Stina went above and beyond to share her wonderful insights of her beautiful Home Country, Sweden. From start to finish, the tour was filled with valuable facts in addition to her own personal perspective of Swedish Life. Lund and Malmo were very lovely. Even during light rain during our tour, the trip was very enjoyable and fun. I highly recommend this tour to anyone in Copenhagen looking to visit these neighboring Swedish towns. I GIVE THIS TOUR AND STINA OUR TOUR GUIDE TYE HIGHEST RATING OFFERED. EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS
Petra was a fabulous tour guide and knowledgeable! It’s a great walking tour through southern Sweden, but would have liked a bit more depth to it. Would recommend if staying for an extra day in Copenhagen and unsure what else to do.
Loved, loved, loved this tour. We spent the day with Stina and learned so much about the history and culture of southern Sweden. She specifically asked about our interests and made sure to thoroughly address those topics. My teenagers were super engaged (which is amazing for that age group). I would highly recommend this tour. It was a highlight of our trip.
We were so fortunate to have Petra as a guide on this tour of Skåne! Each stop on the tour was beautiful and full of history, made even better by our engaging and informative tour guide. Any question we had was answered perfectly, whether it was about the region’s history or what life in Malmö is like today. Petra made sure to take care of us and the other couple on our tour as if we were already been friends! This tour is an absolute treat. We highly recommend taking this tour as a day trip from København!
I am so glad we chose this your. While priced in a higher side, to us it was worth it. Petra our guide was patient, knowledgeable, charming and witty who made the tour even more worth our while. Highly recommended. Thanks for reading!
This trip was everything we could have asked for and more. Petra was fun, personable and loaded with historical, cultural and personal info about Sweden, Lund and Malmo. We are so glad we had the experience. Thank you!
This was a great way to taste Sweden for the time that we had there. Lund is charming, and it was fascinating learning a little bit about the history of Sweden. Highly recommended!
Stina was very knowledgeable and keen to find out what our interests were to be able to tailor the tour accordingly. We were lucky to be the only guests on this trip and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were able to stay after the tour for a couple of hours and enjoyed some falafel for lunch.
I suggest going without a tour guide . The tour left no impression. The guide was late and unprepared. She often seemed lost and struggled to give us information. This tour describes stopping on the bridge to take photos . The guide blamed everything on COVID when in fact Sweden and Denmark are functioning near pre covid "normal". She gave no explanation as to why we took a train instead of what she said was to be a minibus. She was friendly but did not draw is in to the experience. Viator has no idea it was a holiday in Malmo, so many things were closed. Also, Viator did not seem to know there would be train repairs going on so what would have been a 20-25 minute ride by train to return to Copenhagen, , turned out to be a train, a bus and then another train that took just over an hour. There are fabulous restaurants there and it is a quaint city. I have taken many tours with Viator and this was a failure on their part.
My trip to Malmö and Lund was great thanks to our wonderful guide with a lot of interesting information and commitment to the best professional standards..I strongly recommend her for all travelers for unforgettable experience
Wonderful tour,,, I learned a lot about Malmo and Lund. If any one plans to go Denmark he/she must visit the both cities. the guide was so cultured. However I think it deserves to make it less expensive for more convenience.
We had an incredible time today with Stina on our trip to Sweden. Lund and Malmo were very interesting and impressive. This day trip over to Sweden if you’re staying in Copenhagen is an absolute must! Stina is very knowledgeable and one of the best guides we’ve ever had :)
Stina our tour guide elaborated a lot on the sights and gave us a warm welcome from the word go.We spend few hours in Lund and later in Malme where we came back by train to Copenhagen later in the afternoon. We saw the main sights around both cities walking on foot and driving.Visited the central food market in malme where we tried the local falafel..took photos of the Turning torso with its queer architecture and the neighborhood nearby visited St Laurence Cathedral in Lund crossed over and underneath the Oresund Bridge etc. Thanks to her tips and stories about the locations we now will encourage other friends of ours to do the tour!!
We had the pleasure of this day trip to Lund and Malmo starting in Copenhagen. Stina was our guide and provided us with great historical perspective of the Scania region. Travelling across The Bridge between Denmark and Sweden was amazing. Historic Lund was picturesque and a delight as was Malmö. We had fabulous Swedish meatballs in a local food Hall in Malmö (prices are cheaper for nearly everything in Sweden by the way). I would highly recommend this tour.
We had a fantastic trip to Lund and Malmo.. Stina (the guide tour) was very informative, helpful and friendly.. I strongly recommend booking a trip with her..
Stina picked us up in Copenhagen in her minivan. We drove to Lund while she explained everything we saw en route. Lund and Malmo were very interesting with the background information given by Stina. Her great knowledge and charming, friendly personality made this a great day. Long before the end of the tour we regarded Stina as our friend, not just a tour guide. We rate her 10 stars out of 5. Anyone who tours with her is fortunate.
Cecilia was great, very knowledgeable of history and polite. Picked up us from Copenhagen on time, drove through the Oresund bridge took us to Sweden side. Lund which is historical, with beautiful 'older' architectural buildings, and Malmo, which has both old and modern style building and beautiful view of the ocean and Oresund bridge. She brought us to local food market for delicious to meat balls and potatoes for lunch, walked us to Malmo city center and showed us the train station. Tour ends around 3:00 pm, since the train ticket is good for the entire day, I had the entire afternoon to browse the surrounding stores, carnival rides, church before heading back to Copenhagen. Word of advise: Choose the 1st class ticket back to Copenhagen when booking this tour, it's only a few euros more than standard ticket price, can enjoy some quietness on 40 minutes train ride back.
Such a great tour! Petra was our guide and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. She gets 5 stars! I liked how we had will the freedom to continue exploring Malmö at the end of the tour or to hop on the train back to Copenhagen. The Swedish meatballs she recommended for lunch at the food bizarre was delicious. I will definitely recommend this tour to my friends as a fun activity for the day!
Our guide took us all over and explained lots of history about these cities. Wonderful tour with lots of time to ask questions and strool along the beautiful streets and seaside
Despite the weather, Stine was the perfect host and tour guide. The tour company did everything they said they would do and more. Stine was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. She answered all our questions and gave us loads of interesting information about Lund and Malmö...even singing and dancing! Richard, our mini bus driver, was also incredibly friendly and professional. In addition, he was a great driver and didn’t make us car sick!
What a nice tour given by Cecilia. She was friendly, helped our group bond but also kept us moving. The tour highlighted the very medieval beautiful city of Lund..with its ancient cathedral and great huge working astronomical clock chime. I actually spent lots of time researching it on YouTube later. Malmo had 2 parts, the very modern totally sustainable city and the "old section. The Saluhalle for lunch was a treat..the Swedish meatballs lunch plate was the best I have ever had.
We booked the Malmo and Lund tour from Copenhagen. First Aravin, our tour guide, was super accommodating to us (me and my husband had a little hiccup....like forgetting our passports). But it didn’t phase Aravin and he got us back to get our passports and rearranged our tour to accommodate the delay/issue which was totally caused by us. Second, we got to see tons of interesting and historical places. The knowledge Aravin extended to everything we saw was absolutely outstanding. We wish we had an extra day to spend exploring with Aravin. Totally worth it and I would definitely recommend this tour and tour guide. 😀
Our tour guide Cecilia was excellent and her knowledges was excellent and she answered questions very well. I felt some of the details of the overall trip were lacking. It said no food was provided. But a detail of there would be time to stop for food was not listed. Also more specific details of the type of bus would be helpful. My daughter who went on the trip can get car sick so the size of the bus would have been helpful.
Sold as a day trip tour > in fact it was finished at 3pm which included 1 hour for lunch Transport was an old small Transit van with seats. the van was full and uncomfortable The guide was nice but not really engaged in informing us of details unless asked, she was also the Driver The pick up point was quite isolated. The trip back was by train with out the guide who stayed in Sweden . I SUGGEST YOU LOOK FOR A FULL DAY TOUR IN COMFORT.
This was NOT worth the money. I'm writing this because I wish there were more reviews highlighting this. If you're in Copenhagen, stay in Copenhagen and do the "Free Walking Tours" instead -- better itineraries and better guides (IMHO). Lund is a normal college town and all we did was see an old church. Malmo is interesting, but really it's just the Turning Turso and the Little Square, which you could do yourself. Everyone on my tour wanted to head back to Copenhagen right after we got our return tickets. Also, our guide seems like a nice person, but unfortunately she was really boring and didn't seem to know how to engage the group. It felt like she was really inexperienced as a tour guide and we were getting the bare minimum -- the simple dates and facts. I just expected more especially given how much this tour chargers per person. If I could turn back time, I would not do this tour or recommend this tour to a friend. Please save your money. It would be much better spent on museums or food in Copenhagen.
We were excited for the tour and the chance to see Sweden. Lund was beautiful and the cathedral was spectacular - could have done without the long history of the university. Would have enjoyed walking around and seeing more of the old buildings. Malmo was interesting and the views of the bridge and water were really pretty. Turning Torso was cool to see but I didn't need to spend the afternoon there. In the end - I was happy we got to see another country - but honestly I would not recommend this tour to a friend. I felt like it was really a lot of money. Taking the train back to Copenhagen was so easy - I think maybe one could visit Sweden on their own at much less of an expense. Im sorry - I rarely ever leave negative feedback - but I wish I had known from reading the reviews - because for 3 people this was costly.
First of all, Petra the guide is awesome. It is nice because as you travel to Sweden, she tells you fun information you would not have heard elsewhere. She is so nice and knowledgable. While the weather was not the best for our trip, it was still nice to experience both Lund and Malmo. This was the best part because you could compare the two cities instead of just experiencing Malmo. Because Petra lives in Malmo and went to school in Lund, she was able to explain many more things than your average tour guide could. She knew all the tourist spots to hit, but also non-tourist areas that are special to each of the cites. 100% worth the money.
Our guide Petra was so much fun. She gave us a real feel for the history, people and local culture We learned so much from her - from Viking ruins to the naming of Bluetooth technology. The pick-up in Copenhagen was easy and we enjoyed the easy train ride back to the city. Highly recommend if you have time in Copenhagen.
A great way to learn about the history between Denmark and Sweden. Starting off with the picturesque town of Lundt and working your way to the "worker's town" of Malmo, there's a lot to see that's old and new. Our guide Petra was informative, funny, and very patient with our many (and often repeated) questions. A very nice way to spend the day.
What a great day! Unfortunately we didn't bring our passports as having been to both Lund & Malmo when our daughter was at university there I was not aware of passport control back to hotel & on our way 15 mins latter. We drove to Lund in our mini bus. Lund is a lovely university town I stayed on campus when our daughter was there. However Malmo I only saw the railway station. What a wonderful historical town I missed & our tour guide was a wealth of knowledge excellent infact sorry I can't remember her name. Return journey was by train over the magnificent bridge. A day to remember thank you.
We had an excellent time today with our guide Petra in the Swedish cities of Lund and Malmo! Both cities offer something special for travelers like us. So much history and charm! Petra did such a nice job sharing her knowledge as a local with us. It makes a huge difference having a guide like her who is passionate about this area. That’s why we all travel! She also had a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend doing this day trip!
Christian was our guide to Lund and Malmo. He was very knowledgeable and excited to introduce us to the area. I like that! We left Copenhagen in an air conditioned van headed to Lund. It's pretty a college town with Viking roots. The Cathedral was beautiful and we were in time to see the astronomical clock at work. We then traveled on to Malmo where the Malmo Festival was still going on. Ate Swedish Meatballs at Lilla Torg square. Did not shop as there were lots of people. Back to Copenhagen on the train. It was interesting to travel partially underwater and then on the bridge to and from Sweden. Great Day!
A fun filled day seeing the highlights of Lund and Malmo. Great value and lots of humour making the trip a lot of fun.
Hello I have visited CPH/ Kopehavn/ may many many times... Its like a second home for me.... I adore Danemark and the fierce Danes...the food is fabulous ... the sea air makes everything special. I take offense to the visitor who complained about the trip to MALMO/ Train and Bus etc... I admire the reply of the tour company refusing to be blackmailed...Thank you for a reply that is fresh and admirable... All I can say is that I Love Kopenhavn.... Thank you for giving us a wonderful place for us to visit. Regards KikiBacik

Great way to add a quick trip to Sweden when you have a short trip, we had a blast.

We really enjoyed being able to travel from Copenhagen to Sweden for a day trip. It was convenient that the pickup point was right outside our hotel. It was nice that we had free time at the end of the tour to spend in Malo, and then to return to Copenhagen via train on our own schedule. Thanks to our informative guide, Christian.
Petra (our tour guide) was friendly and knowledgeable about the histories of Danmark and Sweden. It was a nice day trip for someone who wants to learn quick about these countries/areas.
Christian, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and funny. Lund was a cute little town/village. Since Lund is basically a University town so it was very quiet when we visited which was really nice. The buildings we saw were really beautiful. Malmo was a bigger and and busier place. We saw a lot of lovely building which were very different to the buildings in Lund. Lund felt more "traditional" where as I thought Malmo was more contemporary - just look at the Turning Torso"! Anyway, thanks for making our day nice!
Anna gave us a great taste of Sweden while we were visiting Copenhagen. In six hours she provided a great general overview of Swedish history, culture, architecture and food.
We had a great time on this tour. The guide did a great job explaining the areas we visited and was entertaining. The tour was laid out well and used our time efficiently. I would recommend this to individuals who want a little exposure and explanation of Sweden.
Amzing day trip into Sweden. Lots of history. Our tour guide Petra was vwery nice and took us to all the main places.
We were really looking forward to seeing the south of Sweden. However, our guide, Anna, was late in picking us up, The van may have been a rental and it was too small for 9 people. Lund was attractive but we spent most of the time at the university and had no time for pictures. We had to drop the van off at noon in Malmo...some of us thought we had the option to return to Copenhagen in the van. We were dropped off for lunch in a warehouse environment but my food was enjoyable. There were lovely restaurants in other places which would have been preferable. We were informed that we had to return by train, but there were only 5 first class tickets for 8 people, Three of us had mobility problems. We did follow the
Recently went on the day trip to Sweden, the minibus was very new and clean, only 8 on the trip. Our guide, Petra, was excellent, her knowledge was good and she really showed off the two places well. Perhaps she needed a mic in the minibus as sometimes we struggled to hear in the back. We did like the flexibility of an open return ticket for the train. Allowed us to spend more time in Malmo. However we did think the cost of the trip was excessive, would consider doing independently in future.
The day I did the tour the group of 8 people were in a small van with not alot of room. It also didnt have clear signage on the car to say the tour company. Our guide was nice, but spent more time talking about universities than giving more time inside sites, say the cathedral (15 minutes was not long enough). We really didnt go into any other sites. Lunch was in abit of an obscure location with nothing much to do around it. Food options were good though. Just note Sweden tends to like the use of credit cards more than cash. There was also confusion around the return trip back to Copenhagen. It indicated that there was the option to go back by the minivan or train. I had already booked the train option but a few passengers seemed not aware or informed that they needed to get the train back to central Copenhagen. I felt this tour was expensive for what they offered.

Great tour with the weather being the only bad thing. Still would have liked the option to walk in the beach area of Malmo.

Trip to Sweden was great. Our guide was very informative and all around fun to spend the day with.

Christian was a phenomenal guide! He knew all there is to know about Denmark and Sweden. He was extremely friendly, warm., and funny. The quality of the tour was outstanding. We are so glad, we chose to go on this tour. Highly recommend!

Other than a little hiccup prior to the start of the tour that end up starting the tour a little late otherwise the rest of the tour was wonderfully managed. The guide knew Lund and Malmo cities very well and provided us with a very comprehensive historical review of the various locations and sites in both cities.
