Steen was a great guide, hilarious and very knowledgeable. Had a lot of fun!!

Steen was awesome, tour was easy and fun interactive
I enjoyed this tour, although it was probably my least favourite of the three tours I joined in Copenhagen. We spent quite a lot of time walking through ordinary streets while listening to interesting stories about the area, and the tour lasted more than 90 minutes. The stories themselves were interesting, but I found it a little difficult to stay engaged throughout the whole tour. The main challenge for me was the guide’s accent. My English is quite good, but I found Martin’s accent difficult to understand at times, so unfortunately I probably missed around half of what was being said. I think I would have enjoyed the tour much more if I had been able to understand everything more easily. Still, it was an interesting way to explore Christianshavn and learn more about its history and the hippie culture.
steen tour guide was quirky and funny
Really worth the time :). Would recommend.
Absolutely great guide. Jack was amazing and did a really good job telling us about the rich history and current situation in Christiania
History of Christianshavn, the squatters, military bases, drugs, gang violence, and much more. It was really interesting to hear from Jack; to walk us through the part of town that would’ve otherwise been just a vandalised area to the naked eyes. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend anyone to sign up, as long as you are tolerant to spicy jokes :)
Very enjoyable tour with Martin. He was both informative and entertaining. Book directly with the operator to avoid Trip Advisor fees. You can tip by credit/debit card too after the tour.
Steen did a really great job!! The tour was very informative and a lot of fun!! I kearned a lot and laughed a lot! I can highly recommend it!!
So funny and informative. Steen was excellent and I learned a ton. One little thing is I would have preferred is less talking at each stop as it got a bit long, but more frequent stops. Length of tour in total was good. Overall definitely recommend.
Very informative and interesting tour!
Jack is a great storyteller and uses a lot of humor. He talks and walks fast, but because of that you get more information during the tour ;-) He involves all participants and there is plenty of time for a chat and questions. Great tour, highly recommended!!
Took the highlights tour thanks to the free offer with my hostel, enjoyed the experience so much I booked this one for the afternoon. Jack was an extremely engaging tour guide with a killer sense of humor. He did a great job engaging with everyone in the group and made a point to remember names and where we were each from. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone first arriving in Copenhagen to get a lay of the land and lots of recommendations for places to go. Note that for respect of the residents of Christianhavn, the tour doesn’t actually go into the town.
Very very cool tour with specific interesting informations about the place thanks to our guide Steen.
Did the tour with Sebastian. It takes some moments how the tours from this special operator are running, but then it turns to a really funny experience. 1/2 Comedy Show, 1/2 City Tour. But both parts were outstanding great. 100% worth the money.
Sebastian was excellent. Great commentary. If you are sensitive, go to a church tour instead
An amazing experience with Martin !
Funny and very informative. Highly recommended if you don’t mind being put on the spot in a funny way
Fun and informative tour, the quide was very entertaining.
Jack our tour guide was both entertaining and knowledgeable. He made the trip interesting, fun factual and engaging. His easy banter with the group made it fun to learn and understand the history of both Copenhagen and Christiana. A great trip and one we will fondly remember!
Steen was fantastic. Very funny, very informative and thoroughly enjoyable.
Very fun and interesting tour with Steen!
We were hoping to get a commentary whilst inside the community.
Superb enjoyable experience. Martin was knowledgeable and interesting and very funny. It was great to see and learn about everything but he made it memorable
We had the tour with Martin and it was just great! Getting to know the area and history with a very good sense of humor!
Thor was great. Nicely organised, fun facts and good duration.
We booked our tour with Steen. It was amazing. Me, my husband and my mom-in-law enjoyed a lot. He told us a lot about the place with really funny jokes. Will definitely suggest.
fun, informative, and funny. just what you want from a good walking tour! thanks, Steen.
I recommend this tour. I didn’t really know what to expect at first, but I learned a lot of new and interesting things. It was truly engaging and well worth it. Many thanks to our guide Roger for a great experience.
This was the second tour we took with Thor. This, alongside the Beer tour is fun, charming, and very interesting (kudos!). A very interesting and (good) different kind of tour from the rest. Stands out among the crowd! ❤️
Be aware that the tour does NOT go into Christiania, but stops nearby. The topline tour blurb does not make this clear; you have to read the full itinerary to learn that. The commentary from the guide was roughly 2/3 bro-ish insult “humor” about various nations and people, and 1/3 information. The worst was when he said “Hitler would be so proud” about two small blonde pre-schoolers who happened to walk by with their mom. This is the only tour I've ever been on where I felt like I needed a palate cleanser afterwards.
Another Fantastic Tour! This was my second tour with the company, and it was just as great as the first. Sebastian was an excellent guide — fun, engaging, and full of interesting insights about Hippies & Christianshavn. I would have happily joined even more tours if I had the time. Highly recommend this one as well
Interesting to see, but I felt a bit like a peeping tom. Due to the time of year, things seemed to be closed up, or perhaps it was simply too early in the day. A lot seemed a bit sad, but it is not for me to judge another's life choices.
Sebastian was excellent. Laughed and learned a few tidbits. Highly recommend this tour!!! Thanks for the experience!
We had a brilliant tour with lovely Thor. He was very knowledgeable about his home city and we really appreciated his well researched and humorous tales about the beautiful city. We really enjoyed our time with him and it was a joy to end it with a beer and a chat, sat in Freetown Christiania. Thank you!
They cancelled 20 minutes before, but despite having my mobile number they only tried to contact me on internet based apps. I don't have roaming credit, I don't live in this country, it was a 40 minute walk from where I was staying (with WiFi) so I walked for ages, arrived early as they asked, sat waiting for ages then gave up. An hour later, when I got WiFi, I found messages saying it was cancelled, only 20 minutes before it was due to start. Horrible disappointment. Wasted my afternoon. Do not recommend them.
Very good walking tour. Entertaining and informative. Would recommend to anyone visiting to get a sense of the place. 👍🏽👍🏽😁😁
This is a good tour for a closer look at a Copenhagen neighborhood. Our guide, Thor, gave an informative and humorous presentation of history and culture. A highlight is the 1970’s commune, still in existence as a commune, sort of. I would recommend their Highlights tour first to gain more context.
Sebastian was a nice guide. He brought LOTS of energy and jokes to the tour. Didn’t feel awkward at all like it can do on walking tours. I would recommend.
Sebastien was an Incredible guide! Super funny and really interesting!!! 😇 As a solo travellers, it helped me meet people and have a good laugh!
Great tour. Roger is an amazing guide with a passion and a good sense of humour. I'm glad that I chose it. Would reccomend everyone :)
Very informative guide. Interesting unusual facts. Cordial to all on the tour. Would recommend to all. Lots of walking but at a reasonable pace.
I had my tour with Roger. The tour was really informative about the history around that area. I really can recommend the tour again!
Entertaining tour featuring a new section of Copenhagen and its recent history. Roger is a great storyteller! While the tour is somewhat “Politically Incorrect “ his narrative was respectful of the history and people of Freetown Christania.
Really nice tour gide Thor, Nice stories and good informative tour. Love the fact to be with a real Danish viking (the name on it self did not dissepoint)
Perfect day to walk through Copenhagen and Christiania. Our tour guide was very fun and entertaining. He didn't hold back. He was a wealth of information regarding an area that is rich in history and stories. Christiania is going through a huge transition (weed" is no longer sold on Pusher Street), and he provided all the details behind why. Guides aren't allowed in Christiania, but after the tour was over, he took a walk through the area while giving some food and beer recommendations. My only complaint was it was Caribbean night in Nemoland the day we were there. Nothing says Denmark like Caribbean night :) If you like to experience something a little different, this is the tour for you.
I had such a fantastic time on the Hippies and Christianshavn tour with Thor as our guide! He was not only funny and engaging but also incredibly knowledgeable, sharing so many fascinating facts and stories that brought the area to life. Thor’s mix of humor, history, and local insights made the experience both entertaining and informative. I left with a much deeper appreciation for Copenhagen and its unique culture. Highly recommend this tour, and especially Thor, if you want a guide who makes learning fun!
Sebastian, the Italian Stallion, was the perfect guide. Fun, funny, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Would absolutely do it again!
Sebastian is a really funny and entertaining tour guide. I would recommend him anytime. If you want to have a great time, be sure you book a tour with him.
Sebastian was hilarious and interesting. I was laughing the whole time and also got a good view of Copenhagen. This was my 2nd tour.
