Grand Day Trip Around Copenhagen

We took this tour in July 2026 and I’m just now getting around to writing the review. Thomas was our tour guide and he was fabulous. He’s very organized and efficient. He will give you step-by-step on how to be efficient so that way you make the best use of your time. He’s very enthusiastic and it shows that he loves what he does. This is a completely worthwhile tour. You get to see so much in one day that would take you a few days on your own. We are family of three with a four year-old. One of us would listen to the tour and the other one would run around with our toddler. We had requested to sit in the front of the bus because my son and I get motion sickness so they picked us up first which was very nice and accommodating of them. I remember it being a small group of 10 in a small van, and it was doable.

Thomas is super knowledgeable and the MOST entertaining tour guide and this tour is an effective way of seeing the most impressive cathedral in Denmark, 2 beautiful castles and the Viking ships museum in 8 hrs.

Good tour around Copenhagen!

Do yourself a favour and spend an incredible day with the wonderfully friendly, always smiling Thomas! He is well versed about Danish history which he shares passionately throughout the day. This is a fantastic way to see the four sights outside of Copenhagen as a taste test - you could always go back to any of them yourself to suit your particular interest. 100% recommendation!

Covered a lot of ground and we were able to see everything except the Cathedral as it was closed for special event but Brian got is to 2 of the famous statues and the Palace guard changing at the Royal's summer home

Thomas was truly fantastic! The historical knowledge which he imparted came out like a story, very easy to understand. The itinerary was well thought out and very well paced! His passion gave us joy for the whole day. Well done! Highly recommend.

We greatly enjoyed our tour with Thomas. The tour is fast paced and attraction packed and he kept it interesting and lively. He was attentive to the guests and even provided an excellent dinner recommendation for Pho Hanoi!

Thomas was a fantastic guide. His knowledge was vast and you could tell he had a passion for his job. There is no way you could visit all of these sites on your own and have a meaningful experience.

We can't say enough about how Thomas our guide made this trip memorable. The Danes have a fascinating history narrated by Thomas in an interesting & sometimes humorous way. Our first stop at the Roskilde Cathedral & visit to the Viking Museum set us up for a great and fun rest of our day. We journeyed on to tour Fredericksburg Castle. As our fuinale, a narrated walk through the outside and interior of Kronborg Castle. The sites are well chosen for their history and magnificent grounds. The 9 hour investment in time is well worth it. The van is tight but comfortable. If possible, request Thomas as your tour guide.

It was great amount of time to explore some great sites in Denmark if you are here for a shorter amount of time. The cost was great since the admission fee for all of the locations would’ve been more to purchase individually. Brian was also super great and provided a balanced recounting of history and some fun facts.

We had a wonderful day with Thomas! He’s friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable about history, and did a fantastic job explaining everything to us. It would be difficult to visit all of these places on our own. He also recommended a great restaurant for us to go after the tour. We highly recommend Thomas and this tour!

This was an excellent and very comprehensive tour of Copenhagen. Jorn was a superb guide. Very professional and experienced and with so much information to share. He made the tour fun and interesting. The places we visited were amazing and captured the essence of Copenhagen across castles, palace and churches, and gave a real insight into the history and life of Copenhagen. I would thoroughly recommend the tour and Jorn as a brilliant, professional, and experienced tour guide for whom nothing was too much trouble.

This is an exceptional tour of the highlights around Copenhagen for those who don’t have time to spend a half day in each location. It’s a long day, but doesn’t feel like too much and is a great complement to popular attractions within Copenhagen. Our tour guide Thomas shared really great information and was a natural story teller. I definitely recommend!

This is a great way to see a mix of fascinating sights just outside of Copenhagen. Especially on longer tours, the guide can make or break the experience. Thomas made ours memorable with a fantastic mix of history, literature, and culture, deftly delivered with humor, knowledge, and the perfect amount of salt. Everything from booking to communication to the tour itself was professional and solidly handled. Highly recommend as a tasting menu of one of my newly favorite cultures.
