Food tour was good. We hit the highlights from Danish pastries and fish to chocolate and Smorrbord. Not sure getting tacos fit the culinary feel though.

Fabulous food tour of Copenhagen with our amazing guide Amit! Amit was very knowledgeable about the city, the neighborhoods, the history and the food culture of the city. Every place we went was so good! Even had a little surprise spot thrown in. Ended with a sit down lunch at a great restaurant with traditional Danish cuisine. Lots of walking and engaging conversation. Highly recommend, especially towards the beginning of your trip so get a good feel for best spots to try in the city and surrounding neighborhoods. Amit also provided an excellent list of his favorite spots to try. I can tell he is a "foodie" so trust everything he recommends!
We had a wonderful food tour discovering some of the foods of Copenhagen and Denmark. Michelle, our delightful guide, shared a variety of foods with us, explaining their history and why they are important to the Danish culture. Michelle, a local, also shared some stories from her personal experiences, which made the tour quite special. We ate a variety of delicious food from starters to dessert, and learned about the area along the way. A great way to spend an afternoon in Copenhagen!
You will not go hungry after this tour! So many different foods and drinks. Oskar, our guide, was a friendly face with a lot of knowledge.
Great tour with Adin! Visited multiple neighborhoods and learned about both food and life in Copenhagen.
Amit was an amazing guide. He was so knowledgable about Copenhagen and Danish food and culture, and made our group feel relaxed and welcome. We ate amazing food—pastries, smorrebrod, tacos, chocolates—and went to businesses that I never would have found on my own. We had a great conversation at our lunch at the end. I would recommend this food tour to anyone I know visiting Copenhagen.
Isabella was an incredible guide and was very informative. She was a fantastic guide and did really well leading the group
Make sure that you’re hungry - lots of great food on this tour! We got a good insight into Danish life and history with our knowledgeable guide, and varied and delicious food tastings.
Husband and I really enjoyed this tour! It struck a great balance between street food at the market, visits to small local shops, and meals at several sit-down restaurants. We especially liked that the tour covered several different districts of Copenhagen (with one short subway ride included). Unlike many other food tours, this one was about much more than just food. We also learned about the culture and history of each district, which made the experience much more interesting and meaningful. The tour lasted three hours, but we didn’t feel tired at the end because the route was so thoughtfully planned. We also loved the variety of food choices. The tour included traditional Danish dishes as well as other types of food, giving us a great taste of Copenhagen’s diverse food scene. Highly recommend this tour if you enjoy a wide variety of food and want to experience different sides of Copenhagen!
This food tour was a wonderful experience. Our guides, Therese and Michelle, were fantastic- friendly, helpful and informative and the food was excellent. Overall, a great experience- would highly recommend.
We always start our travels in a new city with a food tour because it’s usually a great way to get an introduction to both the city and its cuisine. We’ve done food tours in Vancouver, Austin, Chicago, Milan, Munich, Miami, Iceland, and Amsterdam, so we have a pretty good basis for comparison. Unfortunately, Yummy Copenhagen was by far the most underwhelming and uninteresting food tour we have ever done. The tour lasted about four hours, yet we learned almost nothing about Copenhagen’s neighborhoods, Danish food culture, or even the places where we stopped. The food itself was incredibly disappointing: one pastry, a meatball, a taco, and open-faced sandwiches. Nothing felt particularly special or memorable. We did food tour of past and present. Most of the time was spent simply walking, much of it through areas that felt more like business districts than interesting neighborhoods. We even passed other food-tour groups along the way whose stops and food looked significantly better. For the amount of time and money involved, this was absolutely not worth it. We left feeling like we had learned very little about Copenhagen and experienced very little of its food scene. Definitely a waste of both time and money.
Our guide, Therese was delightful. We had a 3+hr walking tour. We visited several different places and ate a variety of classics danish dishes. We learned a lot of historical information. I would definitely recommend this tour!
A wonderful small group tour that was led by an excellent guide Jacob. It felt very personal, friendly and relaxed. We had so much food I wished that I had only eaten half the amount provided at each stop. We really enjoyed the day, learnt a lot and did not need dinner that night.
Rather unorganized start and not a lot of narrative about the food. Things got a little better as the guide warmed up but not a well run tour. One of the “stops” was a piece of licorice from a bag he bought at a store along the way. Sorry but this was not special or memorable experience. Don’t recommend.
The food tour with Oskar P was fantastic! We learned a lot about the culture, the history, the various neighborhoods and we ate a lot of great food! Oskar was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. The tour far exceeded our expectations!
Our guide, Therese, was a wealth of information on the history of Denmark, the food culture from past to present, attentive to the guests on the tour, and picked delicious foods to be shared. We would use this company again.
Awesome tour! Oskar P. was a great tour guide - super knowledgeable about the history of Copenhagen and had some really nice food stops along the way. Definitely learned a lot and left full.
Such a great tour… so much food & fun! Oskar P. is an excellent guide. A MUST DO!
My wife and I had a great time. Amazing guides. We learned so much about the city, culture, and food! All of the food was delicious. We’ve been on several food tours and this was one of the best!
What a great trip! Jacob was the best guide. The food was lovely and the tour super informative. Had a great day and learnt so much! ❤️❤️ definitely recommend
Jacob was fun, informative and patient! We loved the range of food, the pace of the tour and how he kindly answered our many questions! Highly recommended!
Had the best time on the food tour!! Amazing variety of really high quality foods & Oskar was super knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Copenhagen for the first time!!
Oskar was excellent. Very personable and friendly, a very enjoyable 4 hours. So so much food. Don’t need to eat for a week. Thanks Oskar!!
Oskar was fun, funny, a wealth of information and made our tour interesting and fun. The various places he took us, we would never have found on our own, nor understood why they were so important.
Fantastic tour. Great food choices. Lots of information Not only about the food but the history and culture.
Oscar, our tour guide, leader, was fantastic! We learned and saw so much and the food at every stop was incredible. Highly recommend.
This was an excellent food tour. Our guide Therese was nice, organized, and she included a lot of Copenhagen history and context to the food choices. She was also a great resource for recommendations in the city outside of the tour. There were 6 different stops that covered a wide range of food experiences (all delicious), and portions were generous. The tour was also built in a way that we were able to visit several different areas in the city without feeling rushed. It is a great way to start a trip, and I would do it again on a return trip to the city as well.
I honestly can’t recommend Oskar enough. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel completely welcome, like I’d just stepped into a friend’s home. The food was incredible. Every plate was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully put together. You could tell there was real care and pride behind each dish. I’m still thinking about some of the flavours days later. What made the afternoon truly unforgettable, though, was Oskar himself. He’s one of those rare people who can hold a conversation about absolutely anything and make you feel like you’ve known him for years. We laughed a lot, shared stories, and the evening just flew by. If you’re visiting Copenhagen, make sure you find time for this experience. It’s not just about the food, it’s about the connection, the atmosphere, and the kind of night you’ll talk about long after you’ve gone home.
Oskar was a GREAT guide and the food and drinks were delicious. We visited a lot of good shops/restaurants and got a lot of tips.
We had such a good time in the tour, Sandra was just fantastic at making the information sharing relevant and interesting.
A delightful walk through Copenhagen’s food scene with a welcoming and charming host. Sandra was knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging. The small group quickly became friends and shared travelling experiences. We went to interesting spots I never would have found on my own.
This tour is a great introduction to Copenhagen and the Danish culture. Not only do you get to taste delicious food (and drinks), but by moving to different spots, you are introduced to parts of the town that you may not have found yourself. Oskar was our super guide, sharing personal insights and stories to match each part of the tour. We love that it was limited to a small group and Oskar catered for everyone. We highly recommend this tour!
Oskar did an excellent tour! He shared a lot of information about the food, the institutions we got food from, and the neighborhoods we walked through. At each stop, there was a lot of food and a lot of time at each stop. I left very full, very happy, and very knowledgeable about Danish food. Would highly recommend
We had a food tour with Sandra which was not only wonderful food but great conversation as well. We highly recommend Copenhagen by Mie and Sandra in particular.
Ax exceptional tour with a wonderful and interesting woman. We had great food and great conversations with Sandra and learned a lot about life in Copenhagen as well as food. We take food tours whenever we travel and this was a standout. Very very high recommendation. Truly a highlight of our 5 day stay in Copenhagen.
Sandra was our amazing guide! She was very knowledgeable and friendly and showed us lots of great places to eat. We went back to most of them afterwards during our trip and never would have known about them at all if it wasn't for her. Tusen tak, Sandra!
This was our favorite food tour of all time! We do them when we arrive in new cities and this was the best! Sandra picked the perfect food and drink options, asked about preferences and told us the stories of Copenhagen through its food communities. We really enjoyed it!
I chose this tour specifically because it seemed the most unique to the other Copenhagen food tours (specifically.. you didn't stop for a hotdog lol). It was definitely interesting! We stopped at a variety of places, including a middle eastern restaurant that I gladly revisited later on my trip. Our guide was also an archeologist, which was really cool because she provided fascinating historical information on the tour as we discussed food. I would recommend!
Would highly recommend the tour. Our host, Therese, was excellent and the tour was just the right blend of information, good conversation and great food.
We have been fortunate to participate in at least 15 different food tours in the US and abroad over the past few years and this tour was, hands down, the best tour we’ve ever done. Therese was an exceptional guide, the food was excellent, and the places we went were spots we never would have found on our own. We were together 4 hours and we happily would have stayed with Therese longer! She gives just enough interesting detail about the food, restaurants, and neighborhoods without losing our interest and could easily answer our questions. If you’re contemplating booking this tour - go for it! It was one of the best things we did in Copenhagen and we went back to visit two of the spots Therese introduced us to during the tour.
Our food tour was one of the best tours we have experienced. Our guide Oskar was friendly, fun and extremely knowledgeable not only with the food we tried but with his wealth of the history of Copenhagen. But the food was outstanding!! I can’t recommend this tour highly enough and be prepared for an extravagant gourmet tour trying many local foods that you probably would not try if on your own. You do walk quite a bit but need to to walk off all the delicious delicacies. We had a lovely group of people as well which was fantastic as well. Thankyou Oskar for an outstanding day.
The food tour with Jacob exceeded our expectations. He is a great guide, very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Danish culture and the local food scene. We walked in between each place and the route enabled us to see different neighborhoods and enjoy a variety of culinary treats. Highly recommend!
We had such a great tour with Oskar! Although the tour is long which at first we were weary of, we were so thankful we tagged along for the entirety of it. All of the stops were delicious and filling but it was spaced out with plenty of time to enjoy it all without being too full. Thank you again Oskar, we highly recommend to visitors of beautiful Copenhagen!
Sandra is an excellent tour guide. She is informative and vivacious with fantastic knowledge of the area along with the foods we tasted. She is a calm and engaging presence who made the whole tour thoroughly enjoyable. We tried traditional and more modern Danish food and were left with a greater understanding of the newcomers’ growing influence on the food culture.
Fantastic tour. Jacob was on time, very friendly and knowledgeable about all the venues we visited. Overall a wonderful experience.
The best day in Copenhagen - Jacob was an awesome guide and very knowledgeable. All the food was delicious and we learned a lot about the city. HIGHLY recommend
"This trip truly gives you insight into Copenhagen Food Culture and would highly recommend it. By booking a small tour, it is much more personal. Such a chilled vibe from the start. Theresa was very passionate, and this showed throughout the whole tour. Tips: Make sure you bring a bag that you can use to carry food treats, have a light breakfast, wear layers and comfortable shoes, and pack hats, gloves, and umbrella. Don't want to give anything away, so I suggest you book as you won't be disappointed. Thank you for making Copenhagen that much more memorable."
Oskar was a great tour guide, very friendly and full of interesting facts about Copenhagen. The food was yummy and there was plenty of it. Highly recommend :)
Very good guide Theresa, told interesting about the food culture. The first stop in the cheese shop and the last with bread were much appreciated.
I chose this tour by reading comments that mentioned that it is not a tour that makes us eat a hot dog. Yes, I do. A beautiful day with our guide Sandra. Very friendly and passionate. Not only do you discover Danish specialities, but you also walk around different neighbourhoods. Very cool!
