I had the pleasure of exploring Copenhagen on a wonderful walking tour with Laura, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly! What made this experience truly special was not only visiting the city’s iconic landmarks and well-known attractions, but also discovering those hidden gems whose unexpected beauty often goes unnoticed by visitors who don’t yet know their way around the city. I believe it is precisely in these lesser-known places that you begin to truly appreciate a city’s architectural beauty, its local traditions, its everyday life, and the unique character of the people who call it home. Laura’s thoughtfully designed tour offered a beautiful balance between history, architecture, local culture, and those delightful discoveries that make exploring a city on foot so rewarding. Thank you, Laura, for your time, your generosity in sharing your knowledge, and for making the experience so engaging and enjoyable. Your passion for Copenhagen shines through, and your tour gave me a deeper appreciation for the city. If you’re visiting Copenhagen, especially for the first time, I wholeheartedly recommend exploring it with Laura. Her tour is a wonderful way to discover the city’s hidden treasures, gain a more authentic perspective, and fall in love with Copenhagen in a way you might not experience on your own.
I was on tour with Laura and I had such a blast! I’ve been living in Copenhagen myself for a while and actually recently started working as a tour guide myself, so I was interested in seeing if there was more to learn myself. And yes, there was! Learned some cool new facts, stories and saw some more hidden parts of Copenhagen! The group size was perfect, everything felt very personal and I loved the little coffee stop as well;)
Laura, the local guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She adjusted the pace to fit all the people on the tour. She took us round some interesting historic back streets as well as showing us the changing of the guard at one of the royal palaces. Well worth the cost of the tour.
We accomplished a lot in 2.5 hours. Our guide, Laura, led the tour with a relaxed place. We got to see some of the must-see highlights of Copenhagen as well as some truly hidden gems that few tourist guides would bother mentioning. She was very knowledgeable about the places she took us to, as well as about life and Copenhagen and Denmark in general. She really understood the foreigner’s perspective. Highly recommended.
Lovely morning learning about Copenhagen with Laura, who we had to ourselves. Definitely worth the price of admission.
Laura was an excellent guide and spoke beautiful English. She had good knowledge of the city and some good insider tidbits to share.
Our tour guide was Laura. She was very friendly and spoke fluent English. She gave us a wonderful 2-hour walking tour of Copenhagen. Highly recommend this tour if you want high-level sightseeing to get an overview of the town in a short time. We witnessed the changing of the guards at the palace, the Marble Church, Nyhavn with its colorful houses & fabulous cafes, historical hidden alleyways, and the Round Tower church. After the tour, we went back to visit some of the areas on our own. Great tour!
I loved my time with Laura! I was lucky to have an individual tour. She showed me beautiful landmarks and lots of hidden gems. I felt more like a part of the city and culture after our time together.
A great way to learn more about Copenhagen and check off the highlights on the first day of arrival. Laura is a great guide, easy to talk with and interesting to listen to. Her in-depth knowledge and love for the city makes this tour a must do. The route is easy to navigate with the small group and the pace is good to keep up with.
Laura was a great guide! We saw a lot in 2½ hours and it was a great mix between walking and her talking. Seeing the changing of the guards was also nice. She was a genuine kind person! Recommend!
Laura was absolutely amazing! She took us to some hidden spots that we would never would have found on our own. She was engaging and very knowledgeable. Loved every minute!
Laura was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She showed us main tourist attractions as well as hidden gems. Its a great way to learn about the city and find your bearings.
Lora was a warm and knowledgeable guide. She covered a wide variety of locations-some grand, some charming and quaint. I would highly recommend this walking tour to others.
We had an incredible experience with Copenhagen Walking Tours during our recent visit to the city. From start to finish, the tour was engaging, informative, and genuinely enjoyable. Our guide (Laura) was passionate, friendly, and clearly a local expert who knows the city inside and out. She didn’t just show us the main sights, but also introduced us to hidden gems and charming little alleys that we never would’ve found on our own. Her storytelling brought Copenhagen’s history and culture to life in a way that went far beyond what you’ll find in a guidebook.
We learned the most important things about the city, its history, and places off the beaten tourist track. Individual requests were taken into account, and there was even time to eat a dot dog.
What a wonderful way to see highlights that you would never have found on your own. History and local flavor a great intro to Copenhagen. Our guide traveled at a nice pace and was so informative answering every question we had.
We booked this walking tour for our day in port from a cruise. Our cruise ship docked later than expected, and we were scurrying to make it to our tour on time. I had trouble trying to call the company, but fortunately, our guide, Laura, called me to check on my location. We were enroute via the Subway, and Laura offered to meet us at the subway station exit and informed us we were the only people booked on her tour. Meeting her only 5 minutes past the scheduled start time, Laura proceeded to give us a very personalized tour. She planned it so that we had the best vantage point for the changing of the guard at the Royal Palace and explained the whole process. She led us through the main sites in Copenhagen, and also included some little "gems" that other tourists were likely to overlook. Her explanation of the city's history was informative and well delivered. Our tour ended in a lovely square surrounded by restaurants, and she was able to make recommendations of what we should do for the balance of our day. 10 out of 10 stars for Laura!
Informative city tour, highly recommended! We got a good overview of Copenhagen and were also guided to places worth seeing off tourist routes, individual wishes were taken into account and time for a hot dog was also left.
