Such a great tour! Tony was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information about Danish culture. The food was fab. Make sure you go hungry and make sure those shoes are comfortable, I clocked up over 10,000 steps!!

Itinerary
We kick things off on one of Copenhagen's most beloved bridges. Locals come here with a beer, a bike and nowhere to be. We give you the context, the history and the view before we head into the neighbourhood.
Hans Christian Andersen, Søren Kierkegaard and a surprising number of locals using it as a park. A genuinely peaceful, tree-lined walk through Danish history.
We skip the tourist shuffle and jump on the iconic 5C city bus. A short ride, a window seat and your first taste of how Copenhageners actually get around. No metro, no taxi, no fuss.

Our second BiteMe food tour, and still our go-to whenever friends or family visit Copenhagen. Relaxed pace, properly local food, and we learn something new about the city every time. Our highlight was strolling through Nørrebro while our guide Tony shared his knowledge of the area. Easy to recommend!
Top tour ! - and that’s coming from a Dane
A fantastic way to discover the real Copenhagen! I thoroughly enjoyed the Bite Me Copenhagen Food Tour. What made it so special was getting away from the usual tourist hotspots and exploring a really cool, funky part of Copenhagen (Norreport) that I probably wouldn’t have discovered on my own. The tour was about so much more than just the food. Our guide shared some really interesting stories and insights into Danish culture, the local area and the food itself, which made the whole experience much more personal and memorable. It was also a great walk through a really interesting part of the city, with a completely different feel from the usual tourist areas. There was something genuinely special about discovering local neighbourhoods and getting a feel for the real Copenhagen rather than following the normal tourist trail. Highly recommended if you want great food, interesting stories and a chance to experience a different side of Copenhagen. One of the highlights of my visit!
This was an absolutely amazing food tour! My friends and I booked the tour, thinking that it would be just a culinary experience and a way to spend some time while enjoying the great weather. Since we have all being living in Copenhagen for many years, we thought we knew it all; little did we know, there was still so much to discover—one delicious stop, hidden gem, and fascinating story at a time. Our guide, Tony, created such a relaxed and fun atmosphere and shared many interesting stories about Copenhagen. The food was delicious and there was a balanced variety of savoury and sweet dishes. The portions were generous, so we had to skip dinner that day! I highly recommend the tour!
My family and I went on a food tour with Tony this past week when they were visiting me abroad. We had an amazing time, saw several sites and areas of the city I had never been to before, and got the insider scoop on the best local places. We tried lots of delicious foods, both sweet and savory, and I am planning to bring some friends back to the spots Tony showed us as they were so good! Tony shared lots of interesting cultural, historic, and foodie knowledge, I know we all learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour and Tony as a tour guide, we loved it!
What a great experience! I try and do a food tour early in my visit to a new city. And to my surprise this tour was perfectly different from the rest. Truly a “locals” view of Copenhagen’s culinary scene with a great guide, diverse locations and I can assure you, you will not leave hungry!
We had a great time on the tour. Tony was a knowledgeable and fun guide who showed us a side of Copenhagen we would not have seen ourselves. The food was amazing, definitely don't have breakfast!
Bite Me Copenhagen Food Tours is a great way to explore a very interesting part of the city and try some delicious food. Tony is a very knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing guide who made my wife and I feel welcomed and relaxed from our first handshake. Before the tour, he communicated clearly about the location of the meeting place and time, and ensured the pace of the tour suited everyone. We do food tours in most of the cities we visit and highly recommend Bite Me Copenhagen for the unique experience and the quality of the food.
We had a wonderful time experiencing the cuisine and culture of Nørrebro through the eyes of Tony, who lives in the neighborhood. If you like exploring by foot off the beaten path, and connecting with other visitors in an authentic way, you’ll enjoy this tour. By the end, it felt less like a tour, and more like a group of friends eating, drinking, and playing games together through the coolest corner of Copenhagen. I’ll definitely be recommending this tour to others who come through Nørrebro. Thanks for a great afternoon!
We loved this tour of food in Copenhagen. We especially enjoyed heading out to parts of Copenhagen that we would never have known about without Tony as guide. The food was fabulous and the stories accompanying the walk gave such wonderful insights into life in Copenhagen. Thank you!
My wife and I did the tour while on vacation in Copenhagen. We had a great time. Got to see parts of city we never would have found on our own. Ate some great food, and the guide (who's hilarious) made us learn some Danish to order our own food - it was pretty embarrassing but a lot of fun!! I'd definitely recommend taking the tour if you want to see another side of the city and taste some local food!!!
If you want want to taste the real Copenhagen then this is the tour to choose - absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The food was delicious, from the flaeskesteg sandwich, Danish hotdog, and we enjoyed trying local customs - like trying them with chocolate milk. Exploring Norrebro made it even better - we spotted so many cool places that we want to go back and check out. Tony was a brilliant guide with lots of helpful information that helped us make the most of the rest of our stay. Highly recommend, 10/10!
Lovely experience! We visited hidden local spots with fantastic Danish food that I never would have discovered myself. Our guide, Tony was super friendly and outgoing, making it feel like a fun day out with friends, with great stories and fun facts along the way. Even as a local, I discovered new places and really enjoyed the food. Highly recommend — just arrive hungry, because you definitely get well fed!
Such a fun way to discover the Copenhagen that tourists often miss! Great local food, authentic local spots, and plenty of good stories along the way. A funny host with an entertaining way of sharing local stories and culture. A memorable experience- highly recommended!
What a great tour! Tony was a fantastic guide who balanced everything from the order of sweet and savoury dishes, to modes of transportation and rest stops, and all the while adding in interesting stories and little-known-facts of the area and local businesses he tooks us to. Having lived in Copenhagen for years, Tony took us to places in Nørrebro I'd never been before and made me fall in love with Danish food all over again. Highly recommend this tour!
This is the best food tour experience in Copenhagen. You get to try traditional food and drinks and visit places that make you feel like a local. On top of that, we enjoyed great company and conversations with people from all over the world. Our guide Tony made the experience exceptional.
What a great experience it has been. We live here in Copenhagen but we have discovered new places we didn’t know about and we have learnt new things. Tony is an enthusiast and makes the tour an enjoyable experience. We did it with friends that came to visit and they’ve loved it.
I had the chance to join the food tour after living in Copenhagen as an expat for nearly 10 years, thinking I already knew all the must-visit places. The tour pleasantly surprised me, as we discovered hidden gems I had never been to before and enjoyed delicious food along the way. The experience was made even better by the interesting stories and insights about the city's history and culture. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Copenhagen, or even to long-time residents looking to discover something new.😊
Myself and my boyfriend Riley had the most incredible experience on Tony’s food tour this week! Delicious food paired with drinks and great knowledge of everything Copenhagen, you learn so much while eating so well! We took advantage of the beautiful weather and strolled leisurely through the beautiful streets whilst Tony shared everything and answered any questions we had! Already sent the link to lots of friends and family and would honestly come back and do it again in a heartbeat :)
Tony was a fabulous guide-funny, great stories and he knows his Copenhagen food. We ate and ate and ate. All of it was amazing and it was a side of Copenhagen and Denmark I would never have discovered on my own. You won't walk away hungry from this food tour! Book now if you want an insiders knowledge of all things Copenhagen.
Really unique experience that gets away from the usual tourist traps while still showcasing classic Copenhagen.
Awesome tour! Loads of great food at places I would not have found myself. Really loved the hotdog stand! The guide was great, he made us feel relaxed and comfortable and he had heaps of cool facts and stories to add to the experience. Highly recommend!
I had a very good experience with Bite Me Copenhagen. I think it is a very cool way to get to know Copenhagen, especially because it is not just about going to eat, but about getting to know different places in the city, trying very good food, and understanding a little more about the culture and history of Copenhagen. Also, you can tell there is a lot of knowledge and passion behind the tours. Highly recommended for anyone who is visiting Copenhagen and wants to get to know the city in a different way.
