An excellent experience. Magda was a great host, very welcoming with lots of fun stories and facts. The food and drinks were fun and plentiful and in areas we would not have found ourselves. The food and walking tour has helped to give us our bearings and set us up for the next few days. Many thanks.

This was a fun tour and it included lots of interesting food. We tried Danish hot dogs, pastries, meatballs, fish balls, open face sandwiches, etc. Magda, our guide, was a very welcoming host and explained the various dishes to us. She also gave us numerous insights into Danish customs and culture
We really enjoyed this food tour. Magda was our guide and she was excellent!! We received information on the city, culture, and of course Danish cuisine. I’d highly recommend booking this tour And Magda is more than 5 Stars !!
We had a wonderful time on this Copenhagen food tour and would definitely recommend it. Our guide, Magda, was fantastic. She was warm, knowledgeable, and shared great insights into Copenhagen, Danish culture, and everyday life throughout the tour. Although the tour description mentioned a private tour, we assumed that meant a small group. It was such a pleasant surprise to discover it was just the two of us, which made the experience feel very personal and VIP. The food stops were thoughtfully chosen, and the portions were just right. We got to try a great variety of local specialties without ever feeling overly full or sluggish. Overall, it was a relaxed, enjoyable experience, and Magda made the day even more memorable with her friendly personality and local knowledge.
Great food and drinks and wonderful conversation! We learned a lot about Copenhagen and had a great time!
If you want to experience eclectic food in Copenhagen , take this tour with Karolina. She’s easy to be with, it was like we’ve known each other for a long time. She took us to several tastings: open faced sandwiches, pastries, hot dogs, interesting drinks. She covered everything and we were stuffed. Thank you Karolina.
Great way to hit the highlights and learn about the food and culture while someone else navigates for you! Definitely a must do while you're in the city! Jeff was great, friendly and very knowledgeable, even giving us recommendations outside of the tour. Thanks again for a great time!
Magda gave us a great tour. We saw many sights and ate some good traditional danish food. She told us a lot about the danish history.
Amazing tour with Karolina! It was the perfect Copenhagen experience. We ate fantastic food, learned about the city and had an enjoyable dealing tour. Karolina was thoughtful, intelligent and extremely knowledgeable. A must do for anyone coming to Copenhagen!
The guide was very pleasant however we didn’t experience as many food items as we thought. I’ve done these food tours before and usually have 8-10 tastings. This one was more like “meals” and we had to take 1/2 the food home and ended up throwing it away unfortunately. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable though.
Magda was a perfect tour guide. She accommodated our request to revise the schedule. She altered her planed tour topics as we had done and earlier tour in our visit that would have covered the same topics. Recommend
Magda was great. An energetic but never rushing guide who seemed most focused on what I as a tourist look for - an idea of what it is like to live in the place I am visiting. As a foreigner herself, she just seems able to encapsulate what is wonderful and frustrating about living in the Danish capital. And there was beer. And great food. Perfect day!
Great way to see Copenhagen. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave a good overview of all of the food and drinks as well as the culture.
Really good way to experience the food vibe of Copenhagen. We enjoyed the various locations and food/drinks
We have done other Viator food tours that we enjoyed the whole experience- food, restaurants, drinks, wine & shops. The tour was at a hot dog stand, a tourist bakery, & farmers market. We paid $185 per person for a hot dog, a danish, an open sandwich & a can beer. We got a good walking history tour of Copenhagen but this guide should not be doing food tours
Exceptional tour - our guide, Rozelle, made this a delightful and informative walk around Copenhagen's center, treating us to not only the culinary treasures of the city, but insights into history and lifestyle that only a "Copenhagian" would know. She was able to quickly determine our interests and pace, making the morning feel more like being shown the city by a friend, than being guided in an official capacity. Can we give her ten stars??
This food tour was amazing! Grazi was a gracious host and knew so much about Copenhagen. It was a great start to our trip, and I would do it over again if I had the chance.
Nice experience was not crazy about the food choices but that’s part of it. Magda was very informative.
Fantastic tour! The hot dogs were a group favorite…must try with EVERYTHING on it! So much fun native food to try. Our guide was lovely and knowledgeable.
This was a great overview of Scandinavian culture and popular food and drink in Copenhagen! Our guide Elisa was so nice and knowledgeable.
Great experience with Magda. We walked to the best parts of Copenhagen and sampled the best local foods ! There were plenty enough food and drinks so no need to make any lunch or dinner reservations. Worth the time and money to get a little taste of Copenhagen !
excellent afternoon of food and history of copenhagen. great walk through old town at a nice leisurely pace with good stops for food and beverages
Magda was a super guide! We had wonderful food and a good overview of the area. Loved the food halls and even had a couple of extra tastings.
Our guide (Magda) was superb! She was charming, personable, and very knowledgeable of the local culture and history. The foods were representative of the area -- and we had more than enough to eat!
Magda was a delight! Appreciated she reached out the day before and during tour offered to adjust end point closer to where we were staying. Very knowledgeable and passionate. You will not be hungry on this tour!
Fun afternoon with Lucas! Tasted some awesome foods, explored different parts of the city, and learned a great deal about the food scene! Lucas was fabulous and fun! We really enjoyed our outing! I would strongly recommend it!
A very nice food tour. We enjoyed a hotdog with the works, refreshing elderflower beverage, fish cakes and roasted pork. Finishing the tour off with a lovely cinnamon bun. It should be noted that you will do 2-3 miles of walking so be prepared.
Magda did a great job of combining history and danish food for a great introduction to Copenhagen! A foodie must
Rozelle was fabulous! A bit of a tour as we went thru town to the various gastronomical experiences! All food stalls were fantastic!
Karolina was a great guide. She is very kind, helpful and sincere. She brought us to wonderful sites and let us taste Copenhagen delights. This was a great experience.
Jeff did a fantastic job. He was very personable, friendly, and even accommodated my serious dislike of seafood. If you need a tour guide who really knows his stuff, ask for Jeff. We learned so much. Including that magpies use cars to break their hazel nuts. 😊
Great walking tour of Copenhagen led by a wonderful guide, Magda. She explained daily life in the city, highlighting the history and foods of the region. Several stops on the tour warranted returns later in our week to spend more time like the open air farmers market and the Tivoli food court. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the day despite the rain and cool temperatures. We highly recommend the tour.
Jeff, being a life time resident of Copenhagen, has a great perspective from which to share his thoughts and experiences with others. His knowledge and passion for the city, its history and culture were evident throughout our walking tour experience. If you are interested in a really enjoyable day with a delightful person, seek him out.
Rather slow tour. We saw some great markets and our guide was great, but I’d skip this if I had to do it over again simply because of the pace. If you have mobility issues or like a slow pace through a city this might be just right for you.
Rozelle is great! She is super helpful and goes beyond to give you the guidance you want. Go for the food (which is plentiful) and stay for the convo.
My husband and I booked this tour with our four kids (16, 14, 11, and 9). We had the best time with Magda learning about the city and enjoying all the different types of food. She exposed us to areas of the city we would have never explored while trying the most wonderful foods. I highly recommend this tour if you like to eat, and want to know more about the city you are visiting!
I couldn't recommend this tour more. Jeff offers an incredibly personal and intimate tour covering a vast amount of information regarding Copenhagens history and food. Each restaurant we visited offered delicious and authentic versions of the traditional Danish dishes. It's well worth your time and money
A very interesting and informative tour around Copenhagen with our guide Karolina. With stops to sample food and drinks. A Danish (Weiner) pastry and coffee, hotdog with elderflower juice and open sandwiches, beef, marinated salmon, fish cake and fried pork with beer and shnapps. A great way to discover local food and the history of Copenhagen. Thank you Karolina for making our private tour so interesting.
Great tour guide and fun tour. Our tour guide took us to multiple locations and was very accommodating for dietary needs.
Would leave no stars if I could. Tour guide not turned up. No response to direct contact. Support number not answering. £275 to stand around for 45 minutes and get no tour in return. First time using Viator. Will likely be my last.
I had the luxury of a very private tour because I ended up being the only one! I had one official tour guide and a trainee, so I had the pleasure of being fully immersed in the experience. There were 5 local cuisines total- we accidentally skipped a stop along the way (I think from just being so engaged in conversation) but since I was there for the week, my guide Alessandro made it up to me. He was very knowledgeable not only about the food, but the architecture as well, I had a great time hanging out with him and Alice for the day!
It was definitely not worth anywhere near the price of this tour. The most disappointing tour of all the European tours we took. We didn’t even get all the food promised. There were three of us together on a tour and he made us share all of the food items. We each paid but only got one thing at most all the places we stopped. The only exception was the hot dog/sausage place because we all wanted something different. I would not recommend this tour to anyone as we saw nothing really interesting that we couldn’t have found ourselves. .
Wow wow wow! From the minute we were warmly greeted by our guide we were transported to the ‘real Copenhagen’. While this was essentially a foodies walking tour, thanks to Magda’s knowledge & generosity, we learned lots about the culture of Danish Hygge and wandered the back streets exploring so much of interest we would have never discovered by ourselves. The food stops were great, with so much to sample we had to ‘take away’ some items to enjoy later. Absolutely great value for money, all the food was delicious, the Food Markets were so much fun and we were totally enchanted with our beautiful guide Magda. Couldn’t recommend this tour more highly.
We had an amazing experience on the food tour in Copenhagen! The tour was not only a feast for the taste buds but also incredibly informative, offering fascinating insights into the local cuisine and sights. Our guide, Grazi, was outstanding—she went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable for our whole family. She was especially wonderful with our son and tailored the tour perfectly to suit our needs. Every stop featured delicious food, and the entire experience felt thoughtful and personalized. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone visiting Copenhagen!
We found this to be a great way to experience a new city and its culture — even if some of the delicacies were not to our liking!
We very much enjoyed our walking to of Copenhagen with Magda. She was friendly and informative. We got to sample lots of lovely food and visit all the main attractions we had wanted to. I would highly recommend
Our walking tour with Grazi was fantastic! She’s vibrant, super knowledgeable, and really knows how to curate an experience. Grazi tailored the stops to fit our interests—since we mentioned we’d already had a lot of pastries, she took us to an amazing ice cream shop in the Meatpacking District for dessert. She even took some candid pictures of us around the city and airdropped them to us in the end. The mix of history, local insights, and authentic Danish cuisine was spot-on. Grazi’s energy and attention to detail made the tour unforgettable. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a personalized and fun taste of Denmark!
What a fantastic experience—thank you, Magda, for making our day so special! With just my partner and me on the tour, Magda treated us to a delightful exploration of Copenhagen’s history and the wonders of Danish cuisine. We even discovered charming neighbourhoods and hidden gems we revisited for dinner. And don’t miss out on the Danish hotdogs—they’re unforgettable! Thank you, Magda, for such a warm and memorable experience!
Super tour, Celine is so knowledgeable and helpful! Excellent introduction to Copenhagen, it’s food and culture.
We have a great time on the tour. Learned a lot about Copenhagen and tried some really great food. Madge was a great guide.
