I had a great experience trying different bakeries around Copenhagen. All of the pasties were different which made it unique. I was fortunate to have Alex as a tour guide who did a great job. Highly recommend.
Our guide was sweet, the tour just didn’t add much. I was hoping to see some more sights and learn a few more things. Overall, I’d not recommend.
Our guide for the pastry tour was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and answered all questions. He was overall exceptional.
Wonderful tour around the city. We loved our guide and it was a great way to walk and see the city with some pastry tastings along the way.
This was a wonderful tour. The guide was excellent, the pastries superb and the tour group were great.
Absolutely fabulous tour! The highlight of our stay in Copenhagen. The places were carefully selected and our amazing tour guide very knowledgeable! 10/10
My wife and I loved this pastry tour and our tour guide, Simon. In addition to introducing us to five great bakeries in Copenhagen, along the way he shared insight and information about the city and about Danish culture in general. He answered all our questions and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and other things to do in the city. (And the pastries were, of course, fantastic!) Thanks Simon for the great introduction to Copenhagen.
Amazing tour and delicious pastries. The perfect way to sample the best of Copenhagen bakeries and learn some history at the same time. Highly recommend- great guide!
This tour was wonderful. Every pastry was delicious. Our guide was very good. She not only fed us good food but told us about all the interesting sites along the way.
Simon did a great job both with history & selection of bakeries. So delicious with also explaining how they are made. Very entertaining!
What a great way to see a bit of Copenhagen and taste the best of the best Danish pastries. Plus you walk to help balance the caloric intake! We enjoyed half pastries at each stop and loved tasting the variety and getting a little lay of the land before setting out on our own. We fully recommend this tour. One idea: The last stop included a very Danish pastry with a rich history related to avoiding waste. Although very good for insights into the past, it would be lovely to have a savory or less sweet pastry at the final stop - if there is such an option with Danish pastries.
Great tour. We walked about 3 miles. Our group was only 6 of us. We went to 5 different bakeries. Our tour guide was very friendly and personable. I’d really recommend booking this tour!
We got to try five pastries throughout the city and each was delicious and had an interesting story behind it. Sophie was an excellent tour guide! She was very knowledgeable about the pastries and history while we were walking through Copenhagen. My friend and I agree it was the highlight of our day!
Our tour guide Christian was knowledgeable and kind and great at managing the group! He told us the history of the bakeries and about sites around the city as we walked by. Definitely a great value.
Amazing pasteries. Very tasty and a fun way to learn about the pastry history of denmark. highly recommended to anyone who loves food.
What a wonderful way to get a lay of the land in Copenhagen. Ena, our guide, was particularly wonderful. Being a native Dane, she interspersed the wonderful pastries tour, of which samples were plentiful, with anecdotes about her life growing up in Copenhagen, giving us invaluable insight into life for the average teenager/college student in this country. Exactly what we are looking for, as travelers in a foreign land.
It was so lovely touring around Copenhagen with Ena. She was knowledgeable, friendly and took us to some cool spots on a personalized tour. Her bakery choices were great and the danishes were of course delish! We began our time in Copenhagen with this tour and it was nice to start this way so we could see different areas of the city we wanted to spend more time in. Thank you Ena!
A great way to eat different pastries than we would have chosen ourselves! Our guide was so nice and we learned a lot about the history of the city. We enjoyed all the pastries and had a fun morning! Our 9 and 11-year-olds had no problem with the walking and said it was their most fun food tour yet! Tip: bring water, and wet wipes.
Our guide, sigurd, was friendly and well informed. The pastries were interesting and varied. You get to see a lot of Copenhagen.
Great experience Walking is a plus being able to see the city Great theme for the tour Guide was ext
Good tour of areas of the city, with nice background of the different pastries sampled. All food was delicious!
Our tour guide was amazing! She was so knowledgeable of the pasties and city of Copenhagen and it was a great walking tour between pastries.
It was such a delight to walk from bakery to bakery, guided by Ena. A Copenhagen native, she shared her favorite places and stories about her city. Oh, the pastries were all delicious. I recommend not eating anything beforehand.
This was one of the best ways to see Copenhagen!! And the pastries were fantastic!! I would recommend this tour to anyone. Our tour guide, Sophie, was the best!!
Pleasant tour guide with nice sense of humor. Not only did she describe the danish pastries at each shop that we sampled, she also described growing up as a youth in Copenhagen including their schooling and special childhood experiences. My teenage granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed it,
Sigurd is an amazing tour guide and took us to sample some of the best pastries I’ve ever had in Denmark. I wish Sigurd the best in his life and hope he continues to show tourists what he loves about his home city and country.
We loved this pastry tour! It sounds like a good amount of walking but really didn’t notice since the stops for pastries broke it up well. We were definitely full at the end but were really happy with both the bakeries we went to and the pastries we tried. Our guide Sigurd was super nice and fun!
The tastings were outside and it was cold and windy. Ugh! 3 of the 5 danish’s were yum. Not enough chocolate danish, ha ha. Would have been nice had they given us coffee or anything to drink.
This pastry tour was a fun and delicious way to see the city and try different pastries. There was no signage at the meeting point which was confusing as I was worried we were not in the right spot! The guide was informative, and provided some history and architectural instruction during our walk. I would have appreciated a quarter of a pastry instead of half, as these were large portions to have 5 servings in two hours. Overall a fun tour!
Had a great time on the pastry tour with Ena! Had some great pastries and learned a lot about typical Danish customs from Ena and got some good recommendations. Walking tour covered a good portion of the city center. The meeting point was a little confusing, would have been easier if the pickup address was just the first bakery (where we actually met up) instead of the women's prison next to it.
Delicious Tour full of history!
Delicious. Lovely walk around Copenhagen bakeries on a beautiful day! Have a coffee or water with you.
A Tasty Tour and a nice way to spend the morning. Our guide was great - fun to be with and knowledgeable
Great variety of pastries, lots of walking so be prepared. Nice balance of treats with history. Had a wonderful time!
Whilst we enjoyed the tour, and found the guide friendly and happy to chat, we were disappointed that we didn’t learn more about the history of danish pastry making and why it developed into the industry it is today. We didn’t spend any time in the bakeries or get to watch any of the processes so it felt very superficial and not value for money. A visit to a small, independent bakery where we could have had a short talk from a baker, or a chance to watch them working would have made the trip so much more interesting. Trying the pastries was enjoyable, and we learnt a little about them, but we definitely came away with the feeling of having wanted so much more from the experience.
Tour consisted of tour guide going into several bakeries & buying pastries and handing them out. Little dialog from guide! Had better pastries & more info from one stop on a food tour previous day.
Fun and delicious. Our tour guide, Linea, made the tour personal despite having a large group. The walk provided a good jumping off point to other places to check out during our visit.
me and my partner met our tour guide Valdemar who took us around the different bakeries and told us facts about the local area as well as talking about the pastries which were delicious! my favourite was the vanilla danish crown which was so tasty and i could have eaten more! there was a lot of walking involved to get from bakery to bakery but i enjoyed this as we seen more of the local area!
This was an absolutely brilliant tour. The pastries were fantastic and the history and insider stories were fascinating. Our guide Sofia was a delight. She was very charismatic , knowledgeable about history, and very patient with a group. I would highly recommend this tour and Sofia for an excellent way to see the city. Bring your good walking shoes and appetite.
My friend and I were traveling to Copenhagen for a long weekend and absolutely LOVED this tour! We had such a fun group of people from all over - it was really fun to chat with people and learn about them. Our guide, Noah, was amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable, and handled everything for us! At the end of the tour he even handed our recommendations to everyone based on what they were interested in doing. 100/10 would recommend this!
This activity was fun, but do note that it occurs rain or shine (we walked in the rain). You do walk about 3 miles & since we were a tour of 12 we sampled all the pastries outside the bakeries. There really was no variety of pastry. Strictly cinnamon and cardamon. It would have been fun to mix in a chocolate or fruit pastry in the tour.
The tour was great! Seven of us (friends and family) went to 5 bakeries and learned about the history of the bakeries and each of the different pastries we tried. Our guides also pointed out some additional sites along the way. Highly recommend it.
This was such a fun and delicious tour! Perfect amount of walking around to counter balance the pastry eating and really fun to learn about different pastries in Denmark!
This was such a fun a delicious tour! Perfect amount of walking around to counter balance the pastry eating and really fun to learn about different pastries in Denmark!
Pastries were delicious. Guides gave us great information about bakeries and other sites we passed. Pastry portions were full-size at each stop…very generous portions!
A lovely walking tour, the guide had great insider tips and recommendations, a wealth of knowledge and most importantly, provided us with great pastries! Demonstrated good walkability of the city without your feet falling off. A nice variance of areas in the city, old town, newer built areas. The bakeries were all smaller, historical or local hidden gems. Thank you Lěsandr
A tour that involves both sweet & savory tastebuds! We enjoyed learning and tasting 5 different types of pastries from 5 different bakeries. Dress according to the weather because it will be mostly outside the bakeries with the exception of going into a few to collect the pastries. Small groups so you have an opportunity to get to ask questions and meet others within the group. Our group was 7 total with a great tour provided by Christian.
We visited five pastry shops and tasted five very different pastries on the tour. It was great to experience both traditional and new/innovative pastries of Copenhagen. Highly recommend!
Theo was an amazing tour guide! He has a great humor that made the tour super enjoyable. It was a great way to see a bunch of landmarks while eating great food!
