Having never been on a Segway before I was very nervous but Pierre was very patient and I was soon able to control the Segway. The rest of my family were all past riders. We were soon travelling around Copenhagen with Pierre giving us lots of interesting facts about the areas we passed through, with some humour tales thrown. A great way to see a lot of Copenhagen without walking. The 2 hours went very quickly. I would recommend a private tour especially if you’re Segway novices like me. A huge thanks to Pierre for making my 1st trip so enjoyable.

Itinerary
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour start for check-in & training. Here, you will sign our waiver of liability, get your helmet, radio (to hear the live commentary), and meet your guide. You will then receive individual instructions on how to ride a Segway on our quiet and spacious training ground, and get to practice until comfortable. Don't worry if you haven't tried it before - it's very easy and most guests learn it within minutes.
We will begin the tour along the water in a car-free zone; this is a great way to start the tour and really get comfortable with the Segway. On this stretch you will see some of Copenhagen's most iconic sights such as The Little Mermaid (where there of course is a photo stop), The Royal Opera House, The Royal Playhouse, Holmen and much more. Your guide will tell interesting stories about Copenhagen via the headset radio system, which means less stopping and more Segway cruising!
By the Royal Playhouse - a unique glass building almost floating on the water - we will take in the atmosphere at Ofelia Place.
When we have past the beautiful monuments across the water at Holmen, we will take a photo stop with the incredible Opera House in the background at its waterfront location. Your guide will also tell you about the interesting story and astonishing cost behind this sight
Once we reach colourful Nyhavn, we will tell you the story about the most photographed place in Copenhagen and show you the residence of our beloved fairy tale king HC Andersen, and also where a quite prominent Dane lives. After Nyhavn we will head towards the inner city. Photo stop at Nyhavn is of course mandatory :)
We will take a short break about halfway through at the cafe in the Royal Danish Theatre on Kongens Nytorv. Here you can stretch your legs and enjoy a nice beverage or a traditional Danish pastry, if you wish. We have some special offers exclusively to our Segway cruisers, but no purchase is necessary. The cafe is run by the Meyer Group who was the co-founder of the famous Restaurant Noma - so there is a big emphasis on organic and local produce.
We will now head towards the inner city where you will really get to know Copenhagen. Highlights include The Black Diamond, The Royal Stock Exchange, a hidden garden, and much more!
Christiansborg Palace (Parliament), is a magnificent highlight in the middle of Copenhagen where you will cruise right up to the entrance where our Prime Minister also enters. There are several photo stops built in on this stretch and since you are our VIP guests - feel free to tell your guide if you want to make more stops!
We will now head towards City Hall, Tivoli gardens and into the Latin Quarter.
Tivoli Gardens is such a well-known park in Copenhagen. Your guide will tell you about this beautiful amusement park (but please note we will only take a look from the outside)
Your guide will also show you some secret spots and give you a great overview of Copenhagen daily life while you for instance cruise through the 'hyggelig' Latin Quarter. Our stories are light and fresh, but still with substance - like we all should be on a good day :)
We will cruise parallel to the long pedestrian street (Stroeget) and pass it, but as cyclists and Segways are not allowed on Stroeget we will not be driving in there.
As we make our way through the inner city you will see the Nikolaj Kunsthal - an art exhibition hall built inside a church
As we cruise by Magasin (our centrally located shopping mall in a beautiful building) we head out to Kongens Nytorv (Kings New Square)
We think it's time for a well-deserved cafe break and we do this in the Royal Danish Theater. We have some very special prices to our Segway cruisers on coffee/cake/soft drinks. Purchases are of course optional, it is also a short break to stretch your legs and use the bathroom. But if you wish it's a great place to sample some Danish delicacies in the bakery which is run by one of the co-founders of Noma.
After our cafe-break, we will continue the tour and head back to the Segway shop. But there is still plenty to see! On this stretch we will cruise by Kongens Nytorv, Magasin, the artsy Bredgade. We will then drive straight onto the square in front of Amalienborg Palace - the Queen's Residence - where we of course will do another photo stop. You can even pose in front of her Royal Guards and try to get them to smile - we dare you!
The Frederik's Church a.k.a. The Marble Church is a stunning monument right in the eyesight of Amalienborg Castle and The Royal Opera House
We then continue towards the Gefion Fountain, St Albans Church, the Churchill park - a beautiful green area of Copenhagen
The English Church is a beautiful quaint church just by the Churchill Park
We will cruise right through Kastellet (The Citadel) which is a still-active military area, and quite a unique experience to see in central Copenhagen.
At this point, your 2-hour Copenhagen Segway Tour will have come to an end. But please stay and enjoy a complimentary organic beverage (e.g. soda water, beer, coffee, tea) & you'll have earned yourself a fun Segway Souvenir! We will also be happy to give you further directions or help you book any other activities you might want to try out here in Copenhagen.

We had the best time in Copenhagen on this segue tour with Sergio. He made sure we were all comfortable and safe right from the start. We learned about the city and he made sure it was fun and personable based on our group. He got a great group picture of us which we forgot to do for most of our trip! This was a highlight for everyone. Thank you Sergio
Given the time of year, it was a small tour group, and the guide was excellent. Had lots of background history on the city and Denmark. He was funny, knowledgeable, and absolutely worth your time and money.
We were nervous whether could control the vehicle when first introduced to the Seqway by the guide, Pierre. But Pierre was simply marvellous in teaching us, training us and guiding us , we being tourists and first timers on Segwsy whose ages were between 50 to 68 years old. Once trained, Pierre took us thru all the sights of Copenhagen with live talk thru microphone n earpieces, travelled thru pedestrian crowds, bicycle tracks and open roads w buses n cars which would not hv been possible without the expert guidance n confidence Pierre gave us. A total thumbs up to the entire experience n particularly to Pierre. I should caution that there are risks involved and ultimately, its about your own self confidence. And the experience also builds confidence.
This was so much fun! An amazing way to care the city and the entire family loved it! The guide was so helpful and informative.
Sabina was amazing. She added great facts and adjusted the pace to suit us! Great views everywhere and the weather really turned it on for us
This is an excellent way to see the city and landmarks. The tour guide Mikkel was brilliant , very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a sunny crisp morning which obviously helped (we did the 10am-12pm tour). Highly recommend.
The explanations of parts of the city and buildings was so nice. And the stories about the statues and royal family was so interesting. The stops inbewteeen was very nice and the way he guides was so calm, respectvol, full of energy and passion. Definitely recommend taking a segway tour with Andres.
Rocio was a wonderful guide for our family segway tour. Our boys cannot stop talking about how much fun they had on the segways. We got to see many sites of Copenhagen in a fun way. Thank you, Rocio!
The tour was so much fun and a great way to see all of Copenhagen’s most famous landmarks. Our tour guide Ausra was so friendly and well informed and would highly recommend a tour with her!
Jacob, our Segway leader, was absolutely amazing with his knowledge of the sites and his skills. A well arranged tour of almost everything you need to see and learn about Copenhagen
We had a great afternoon on a 2 hour private Segway city tour with Segway Cruise Copenhagen. This is a fantastic way to get an overview of the city, while having a lot of fun in the process. Our guide, Andres, provided complete instruction on safely riding the Segway. We had a group of 8 people, some of whom had never previously ridden a Segway and were apprehensive about it. By the end , everyone was completely comfortable and didn't want the tour to end! Andres also provided commentary during the tour that everyone was able to hear though our individual ear pieces while visiting many of city's famous sites. This tour was one of the highlights of our stay in Copenhagen and we would definitely do it again!
Very fun way to cruise around Copenhagen, nice views and a few stops are provided along the tour. Sights are not very profound, but you get an overall view of the city and a feel for what you might come back for and want to visit in detail. Segways are very easy to handle and it´s super comfortable to make your way through the city. As it was a rather cold day, even gloves were provided by the company, big plus here! Our guide Andres was adorable, very friendly, knowledgeable and kind.
Amazing trip through the city. Very interesting and fun, I strongly recommend taking this tour. The service was excellent in all aspects: - The tour guide (Andrés) was incredible. Súper nice, always paying attention to our safety, with useful information and interesting facts that are not easily found on the Internet. Always with a smile, patience and predisposition. - The Segways are super fun and easy to use! I have never used them and it was great. You can go through the city in a pleasant way. - The guide gave us a thorough explanation of how to use the devices. - If it is cold, do not forget to wear gloves. We forgot ours, but the company has several to provide in case someone needs it. - They also provide adjustable helmets and radios/headphones to listen to the guide without having any issues. Loved it!
Loved the Segway though it was raining. It’s Copenhagen weather I guess. Very informative guide and he took great care of the ride and constantly reminded me to be careful. Did a good tour of the areas of Copenhagen and without walking, it was great!
Great fun and a fantastic tourguide. Learning to ride the segway in a very quiet area. Afterwards riding to Copenhagen and seeing a lot of highlights. The guide gave all the information through an intercom system which worked great.
Brilliant way to see the city with an excellent, friendly guide (Gill). Great value and what a way to see the sights. A must trip for anyone looking to do something a bit different.
A great afternoon with a great pair of guides. Our guests loved every minute and being able to practise down by the docks before hitting the city centre was definitely a good idea! We'll be back next year with another group for sure!
I've been on a Segway before, but experiencing Copenhagen on a Segway with the tour guides from Segway Cruise Copenhagen is an experience I will remember for a long time! Very recommendable!
We truly enjoyed our time on the Segway tour! Our guide made sure we were able to safely maneuver the Segway before we took off. We were given mics and earplugs so our guide could clearly communicate to us and we could also communicate with him. Copenhagen is very spread apart, so this helped us get a tour in quickly during our short time in Copenhagen. Fun, fun, fun!!!
Driving a Segway is really easy. After 3 minutes of driving you feel safe. Also you see so much interesting places and get so many good information! I can recommend the 2 hours tour. Tourguide Annika did a really good job making sure everyone was safe and she knew so many interesting and fun facts about Copenhagen and Denmark :)
I have always seen the Segways around the city and was finally able to try them! Our guide, Annika, made the experience special and she was well versed in the history of Copenhagen. Even after living in Copenhagen for a while, I still learned a lot about the city. I had never used a Segway before, but Annika made sure we were all comfortable with them in a training area before we took off for the tour. Once you get the hang of them, they are really fun to drive! 5 stars and I would recommend to anyone visiting Copenhagen, or even locals who want to see the city from a new perspective. Thanks Annika!
A great trip, with good and very knowledgeable guides. The owner also helped with lunch and suggestions for other activities during the day.
Spectacular walk through copenhagen. Nahuel is an excellent Guide who tells you a lot about the history of the city. Highly recommended!
Really lovely experience - Segway Tours make a trip that suited right to us. We didn't have to hear so much about sights, just out to drive and it was tailored to our needs. Nice that a company can adapt the experience to what we wanted. Can be highly recommended.
Fantastic tour my husband and I were on with our guide. We got plenty of extra knowledge about Copenhagen and had super cool guide. They have control of every detail. We were offered a pair of gloves as it was very cold that day. We were thoroughly taught up. The guide used the microphone and headset so we could hear her. Will definitely recommend it!
To have an overview of the cities we visit, we always try to make a city tour right upon arrival, passing through the main sights and their monuments. Making it from Segway, it was exceptional! In a traffic-free area on the pier, we received a quick training with instructions on how to operate the Segway and observed a rather modern rewrite of Little Mermaid. What a wonderful feeling! Riding a Segway is much easier than you think and completely safe! The balance is automatic! We started our tour on the Larsen Plads, where we saw along its promenade the "Maritime Monument of Copenhagen", the famous sculpture "The Little Mermaid" and we also knew the very interesting story of the work "I am Queen Mary" On the other side of the shore we observe the Copenhagen Opera House. We also saw the Royal Danish Playhouse, opposite the harbor. We continue to Nyhavn, the new port and postcard of the city, with boats attracted to the banks of the canal that house restaurants, museums and even theatres. We went to see the beautiful Royal Library Garden, a small hidden garden between the Royal Library and the Danish Parliament. We had a coffee at the Danish Royal Theatre until the changing of the guard at Amalienborg. Just ahead, we saw Frederik’s Church, the beautiful marble church. We crossed the Gefion Bridge, we saw the Gefion Fountain, the St. Alban's English Church, an Anglican church built in Copenhagen in 1887. We saw the Kastellet, a pentagon fortification, built by King Christian IV in the 17th century, to increase the protection in the northern part of the city. We ended our tour with a snack at the headquarters of Segway Cruise where we received our tour certificate that gave us the desire to repeat!
We did the 2-hour VIP tour of the city and I can say with confidence that it was a fantastic experience! It was worth it because we passed through many sights, where our guide told accurate and detailed stories, which made a lot of difference on the tour! The fact of moving around the city via Segway is very cool, because in addition to "saving" legs on the trip (as we had many countries on the list to visit), it is possible to cover a good area of monuments and historical places. I will definitely recommend it to all friends and family! The Segways are a newer model and very easy to "drive". We saw that they had other companies doing the ride too, but their Segway didn't look as soft as ours. Not to mention that the private tour also made all the difference! It wasn't a bunch of people! It was worth it!
