There's some merits and cons to the place. Let's talk about the merits, great bed, nice design but not functional. When we booked this place because of it's good review and high ratings. But was incredibly disappointed that our experience wasn't tbe same at all... You have no space to put your toiletries when you are showering. No drinking water. If tap water is safe to drink. They could at least write that down and provide a vaccum flask When we checked in using the self service kiosk. They assigned us the wrong room, so we decided to go up to the front desk and get an exchange since the room we paid for was more than the current room we assigned to. The service desk was incredibly condescending, even told us did you even request for a bath tub when clearly the room we booked for mentioned they have a bath tub, why else would we upgrade... So the room she decided to give us finally match my booking after that 10 mins of condescending ordeal. You have to book housekeeping before 2300 which is fine, due to shortage of staff. So we booked it and realize noone came for housekeeping and our thrash just stank out the whole room. The front desk call service is very inconsistent. We stayed for 4 nights and some days, the service desk offer to bring up wine glasses for us some days and you have another lady saying that you need to collect your own. So I'm not sure what's up with the inconsistency... There's no water, or any water dispenser in sight. Althought I understand it's a budget hotel. Water is like a basic necessities. For the price and experience, you can try somewhere else

We had a great stay at this hotel. We loved the location, close to bars and trendy shops but quite. There’s a supermarket at the corner of the street. Friendly staff, spotless clean rooms. Confortable beds. Every room has an iron an an iron board.
Combining Scandinavian comfort with an excellent location, Scandic Kødbyen is a great choice for a Copenhagen city break. Located on the southern edge of Copenhagen's vibrant Meatpacking District (Kødbyen), the hotel is just a short walk from some of the area's best coffee spots, including the much-loved Prolog. Despite being close to the action, it feels like a calm world of its own, defined by crisp white façades and subtle blue accents. The central station is nearby, making it easy to arrive and explore the city. The waterfront, city centre, and many of Copenhagen's highlights are all within walking distance, making the hotel an excellent base for discovering the Danish capital. 🛏️🪑🛋️ The interior is modern, clean, and unmistakably Scandinavian. Frequent Scandic guests will instantly recognise the brand's signature design language. A harmonious palette of white, beige, natural wood, grey, brown, and copper creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel. 🏋️ Fantastic equipped gym. ✨ A familiar Scandic experience, elevated by a great location in one of Copenhagen's most creative neighbourhoods. Could you see yourself waking up in Kødbyen?
Very friendly staff, the reason on 3 stars is that there is very late check in: 16:00 is way to late. Then you can leave your luggage in the basement in a room WITHOUT any camera. How can a hotel in this standard not have 1 camera in the luggage room for safety. Room is very nice, but it is build so small that you can not open a big suitcase. This hotel is perfect for a weekend gateaway, or some business days in cph. Location: 5/5 Breakfast. 5/5 Staff: 5/5
Modern hotel with a busy vibe. In the centre of the trendy meatpacking district with all its bars and restaurants but a fair walk to the big attractions. If you've booked online, you have to check yourself out and in. On arrival I was just pointed to a computer to check myself in and get my key card. An impersonal and unwelcoming experience. The breakfast is expensive but it is very good and generous with the choice.
