Great choice for a stay! The breakfast was fantastic, and the location is incredible—right next to a metro station that gets you to the city center and main attractions in just 3 stops (about 10–12 minutes total). The bed was super comfortable, and the staff was professional, friendly, and very helpful.
Beautiful hotel, great location. But if there is a concert happening, even during sound check while staying on the top floor, it is so loud. Staff was all helpful and let us store our luggage way before check in and go back in as needed. Very nice lobby and little bar
A great hotel to stay at if you’re visiting Copenhagen. The location is a huge advantage—the Frederiksberg metro station is just a 3-minute walk away and connects directly to the M1, M2, and M3 lines, making it incredibly convenient to get around the city. There are also plenty of good places to eat and specialty coffee spots nearby, which made the stay even better. The hotel entrance feels grand and welcoming, giving a great first impression. While the rooms are on the smaller side, the excellent location more than makes up for it. Overall, a solid and convenient place to stay in Copenhagen, especially if easy connectivity is a priority.
Let’s start with the positive, staff was amazing, lovation is amazing and that is about it. Rooms have big windows but not even a small window to open, outdated rooms, we arrived to dirty towels and no bodywash in the shower… we requested room service as we ran out of toiletpaper after 3 days… on day 4 we had to remind the front desk and then finally we got *some* room service, basicly only what we complained about. Overall the highlight of our 6 night stay was the staff, amazing staff!
We arrived at the hotel around 12 PM and were informed that our room was ready, but we would need to pay an extra 200 DK for early check-in as per hotel policy. We decided not to pay and went sightseeing instead. When we returned at around 6 PM to check in, we were informed that the room was still not ready. We had to wait at the door while the staff hurriedly finished preparing the bed. Upon entering, we found the room was quite small for three people. The floor was sticky, likely due to a coffee stain, and the room felt dusty overall. It seemed the cleaning was rushed because we were waiting outside, so proper mopping and wiping were not completed. Further, the room and amenities (no toiletries, room sandals, etc) was extremely basic, not what we expected from a renowned hotel chain as scandic as per our previous experience in similar hotels. It was more similar to low budget hotels such as ibis. The mattress was only 3 inch thick which was a real letdown and uncomfortable. On the positive side, the location is very convenient with metro, cafes, Asian restaurants, a mall, and even one vegetarian Malaysian restaurant nearby within walking distance. The reception area also has a pleasant vibe. However, the poor room readiness and cleanliness were very disappointing and affected our overall stay.
