Hotel Petra

Hotel Petra is the best location in Copenhagen. However, the room itself lacks AC and a mini-fridge, so I wouldn't recommend staying there for longer than a night or two. The cleaning service is also highly selective and I went multiple days without my room being serviced.

We had a very small room, no place to put our luggage, no small table to put things like the kettle so had to put it on the ground. I always wonder if anyone of the staff ever has slept in this room with two persons and luggage and experienced what it really means to stay for 3 days. Would love to hear their experience. For the rest it was a great hotel at a perfect location 😊

Overall, it was a great stay, but it’s important to set your expectations considering the price and location. The overall design and aesthetic were beautiful, clean and tidy. However, the room was extremely compact. The smallest double room is more suitable for one person, or two people traveling light. If you have large luggage, it can be quite difficult to even open it. There’s no air conditioning or refrigerator, and the shower space is very small, even for someone like me, I still found myself bumping into the walls while using it. Great for the aesthetic and budget, but if you value space and comfort, you might want to look elsewhere.

We stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Petra and we loved it! The location is perfect - all highlights of Copenhagen in walking distance. The staff was extremely welcoming, super friendly and always available. The room was clean, the interior design a 10/10. We did not book any breakfast but it was always busy and seemed delicious! Absolutely recommended for a weekend-trip!
