I recently stayed at Comwell Copenhagen and was deeply disappointed with the experience. For the premium price they charge, the overall offering falls well short of expectations. There are significantly better hotels available in Copenhagen at this exact price point, offering superior quality and much more central, convenient locations. To make matters worse, the room service was absolutely appalling—slow, unresponsive, and far below the standard you would expect from a hotel in this category. I definitely would not recommend staying here when there are far better options available for the same cost.

Lovely weekend stay. Beautiful hotel and super friendly staff. Breakfast was a highlight with fresh food and nice dining area. The room was however fairly mediocre for the quality of hotel, with also 2 beds together to make a double bed. Was otherwise a comfortable night.
We chose Comwell Hotel for a long weekend trip to Copenhagen with a group of friends, and it was an excellent choice. The hotel has a fantastic location with beautiful views, and the metro station is only about 150 meters away, making it very easy to get to the city center and all the major attractions. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and tastefully designed. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by incredibly friendly and helpful reception staff who made us feel at home throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, spotless, air-conditioned, and very comfortable. The breakfast deserves a special mention—it was absolutely amazing. There was a huge variety of food, so everyone could find exactly what they were in the mood for. I especially loved the scrambled eggs and the oatmeal, both of which were outstanding. A big thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful stay and a great experience. If we return to Copenhagen in the future, we will definitely choose Comwell again!
This hotel has tons of potential, but our 3-night stay here was disappointing. A lot of 'no': no luggage carts; no mini fridges in rooms; no acknowledgement of loyalty status with Wyndham hotels; no accurate accounting of payments; no reliable air conditioning in our room. The AC ran constantly yet could barely lower the temperature in our room. Breakfast is not remotely available as a Platinum Wyndham Rewards member: no daily credit, no voucher. The quality of the buffet breakfast is excellent, however, but it must be purchased before being seated. We ate breakfast on 2 mornings, with the cost being paid via my credit card before being allowed to enter the dining area. At checkout, the reception desk agent demanded that I pay for breakfast again! He even asked that I produce receipts to prove that I had paid for breakfast. When checking in for breakfast, my room number was supposedly linked to my payments. Why was this not reflected in my account? I found the reception desk agents to be surly and not at all helpful. While the location of the hotel is great (very close to the Oreintkaj Metro Station) and it is within walking distance of a variety of great restaurants in Nordhavn, I would not stay here again based on my interactions with the reception desk staff. I don't appreciate my account not being accurately recorded. How can a hotel named "Portside" not even provide luggage carts? Attention to several important details of operating a quality hotel are very much lacking at this property.
Nice, pretty new hotel (it seems) in the harbour area of Copenhagen. Very clean and comfortable hotel. We had a small 2-persons room which was all we needed. Comfortable beds and the breakfast buffer was pretty amazing for the price. Lots of choice, everything fresh. Good choices have been made from an environmental perspective. Recommendable hotel!
