We checked in close to midnight. When I made my reservation, I had specifically requested a room on one of the higher floors with the best possible view, as this was my first visit to Copenhagen. At check-in, the front desk staff assured me, “Of course, we’ll give you the best room.” Since we were exhausted after our journey, we went straight to bed without checking the view. The next morning, when we opened the curtains, we were extremely disappointed. The view was nothing like what we had hoped for and certainly did not reflect the request we had made well in advance or the assurance we received at check-in. I understand that room requests cannot always be guaranteed, but I would have appreciated honest communication rather than being promised “the best room.” As a first-time visitor to Copenhagen, I was really looking forward to enjoying the city from our room, and unfortunately, that experience was a letdown. After the third night, I contacted reception to request a room change. Max assisted me and arranged a room on the 14th floor with a much better view, allowing me to move at any time. Many thanks to Max. Although it was still a double room, the bed was made with two separate single duvets. When I requested a double duvet, the receptionist told me that the hotel did not have double duvets because all rooms were provided with single duvets. I found this very disappointing and, frankly, misleading. We had a double duvet in our previous room, so it was clearly not true that all rooms were equipped only with single duvets. I would have appreciated a more honest explanation rather than being given information that contradicted our own experience during the stay.

The largest hotel in the country and it shows. The property is always busy with conferences and tourists. Very conveniently located close to the Bella Center Metro station, grocery stores, restaurants and bistros, Royal Golf Course and the Royal Arena. Rooms are simple and comfortable. The housekeeping can be inconsistent since they have so many rooms to clean over the course of a day. The front desk staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It is an extra Zone cost to go into the city centre from here but the trip is fast and reliable.
We stayed 2 nights at the start of a Group Tour. We arrived 6 hours prior to check in time, expecting to have to leave our luggage and come back. The friendly and extremely helpful man at check in offered us an upgrade at a minimal cost of EUR20 per night, for a bigger room which was available straight away. We were extremely happy with our room, clean, spacious with a comfy bed. Breakfast had a good selection and dinner in the restaurant was great. All staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. Only downside was the Hotel is a bit out of town so we got an Uber, but bus and metro are close by.
We were visiting this hotel at the end of May until the beginning of June, when we stayed there for three nights. The reason why we selected this hotel is that we wanted something upper-end but still with a great quality-to-price ratio that is, in a way, affordable. At that time, when we visited, it was around €150 per night without breakfast for two of us, and the room was upgraded from the standard, a bit better than standard. I'm not sure how it goes with Marriott, but it was really nice and definitely met the standards we were looking for. We actually haven't stayed in this type of hotel where it's that high a floor, at least I haven't, so it was a really great experience. They also had breakfast, which was extremely nice. We went there for one morning, and then there was also Copenhagen's best hotel restaurant, which we tested out. The experience was fantastic, for sure! It will be the one and only time, since it's pretty much for the experience and the food is great but not so good that the price will justify it. It is something to test out, since we were very curious what Denmark's best hotel restaurant experience is. This hotel might be next time, which I might be back because of the location being attached to the Bella Center. This means that if I, for some reason, end up in the Bella Center for the exhibition or whatever conference, seminar, or summit that is going on, then this is the place to have as an option for my stay. Five stars!
Spend a week at this hotel with family on first holiday in Copenhagen. We really enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend to any future guests. There was no negative views to mention other than a minor towel rack loose from wall attachment. On the positive side the room was clean, comfortable and modern. The breakfast was amazing, area was large with friendly staff from check in to floor maintenance. The location is great as its a few minutes walk to metro station with short connection to the airport and center city. I did not eat in the restaurants nor use the fitness center (was nice) . The view from the 23rd floor sky walk was amazing.
