My now husband and I married on Thursday prior to his cancer treatment. We hoped this would be a lovely venue to celebrate our wedding with just 4 guests. Our friend had booked us in for our wedding night. Following our wedding we arrived at the hall with great expectations. I had been told by many friends and family what a lovely location it is. This was true. It is a magnificent location and stunning views. Unfortunately the service we received wasn't so good . We were made to feel so unwelcome, the service was poor. The manager was rude. What should have been a very special occasion was tarnished. We are hard working people who deserved to at the very least to be treated with respect. This should have been a day for my husband to remember and to give him his strength to fight the battle with cancer that he is facing. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. We stayed the night as planned but left before breakfast as we felt so unwelcome. A beautiful setting and close to home. We didn't let you spoil our day but what should have been memorable for being amazing was memorable for the total opposite. Just under £1000 pound spent and to come away so deflated. A big disappointment. The food was lovely and the young staff in the bar and restaurant made it bearable. I think the management should imagine living a day in the lives of the people who visit expecting at the very least decent service.

Classic luxury hotel in a stately house. The building, rooms and furnishings are amazing. Staff are really helpful. The evening dinner was definitely fine dining. Grounds are great to explore.
We had a truly fantastic Afternoon Tea at Bodysgallen Hall today! Even though we booked on very short notice, the team accommodated us flawlessly. The experience was elevated by two excellent, highly professional, and extremely attentive waiters who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The historic atmosphere, stunning surroundings, and delicious food combined for a simply beautiful and unforgettable experience.Highly recommended – we will definitely be back on our next stop in north wales!
My daughter and I had half a day Spa with massage. We then had afternoon tea in the main building. It was all absolutely lovely. The Spa was immaculate (small but perfectly formed). The massage was sublime. We were given a private room for afternoon tea which felt special. The quality of the food was excellent. The service was excellent too. Highly recommend.
Visited Bodysgallen Hall for Afternoon tea as a birthday present for my husband. The location is fantastic with easy access just off the A55. The grounds are stunning with amazing views. The entrance hall takes you back 100 plus years and your greeted by a warming open fire. The reception area is just to the left as you walk in where we were greeted by the receptionist and butler. We were shown to our private lounge area where it was already laid out for our afternoon tea. Our coats were taken and hung up and given time to relax before ordering our tea from the tea menu. They definitely have the finishing touches. Loose tea served in silver teapot with extra water even have a little hat for the teapot handle so it doesn't burn you while pouring your tea. The sandwiches were fresh and the fillings were lovely you could tell care had gone in to preparing them. Normally I'm not keen on bara breth but it's definitely the best I have ever tasted. Scones were warm and fresh with plenty of clotted cream to serve over the jam. The server/butler was attentive and chatty but not over powering and definitely adds to the experience. Enjoyed it so much already planning on a return trip to take my mum as a birthday treat. Highly recommend for an exquisite afternoon tea.
