We had a fun time but one of our guides named chase was high during our tour. I find it crazy that guests shouldn’t be high but the workers that are in charge of our safety can be. Do better.

This climbing experience felt like an adventure and a work out! Our confidence grew the more we climbed. We were tethered at all times, so we did feel safe.
The staff were amazing! We had so much fun on the Sky Trek and Zip Line! Can’t wait to do it again!!!
It is definitely challenging, but I had a great time. I would recommend starting on the first level, and then working your way to the top.
We have done this a couple of times as a family. The first time was a ton of fun during summer and then we just did it again. The staff there is friendly, helpful, and patient. Austin was our guide who was amazing with the children and it was a fun way to spend the day as a family. We will continue to come back if you’re looking for a fun outdoor activity for everyone in your family from children to adults this is the activity for you
My kids and I had the best time. The staff was very friendly. The trek accommodated my thrill seeking child as well as my more reserved child. We will visit again in the future.
We had friends visiting from out of town and were looking for an activity to do together for a few hours and had an absolute blast. Our only regret was not bringing gloves, because after three hours of climbing all over, the ropes start to hurt your hands. The obstacles are graded like ski slopes: green, blue, black and so it was nice to pick and choose how much to challenge yourself as you make your way across the platforms. Lots of fun props, well constructed, and a nice area to sit and chill out at the bottom. We'll be coming back to do the package with the ziplines sometime soon!
We were drawn to the Sky Trek because of its unique crossing challenges and the photos we'd seen didn't even start to prepare us for how cool the experience would be! Our minds were blown and bodies challenged to take on the amazing walkways. Incredibly fun adventure! (We had ages 10yr to 68yr old and everyone loved it!) As a travel agent myself, I will be recommending this to all clients heading to the area.
We did the Sky Trek and the ziplines and it was totally worth it! We had such a good time. We had Eli and Ashley as our guides for the zipline and they kept if fun. They also took great photos of us which we were super appreciative of. I can't wait to go back again (this was our second time)! Such a fun time and there are a lot of challenging obstacles on the Sky Trek!
Incredible experience to spend as a family, very fun, my daughter loved it and the guide Jack, very attentive and helpful, excellent service, I recommend it and we will return 🙌
What a great place for the whole family. Everyone was so helpful when the need arose. The staff is great.
We had so much fun because of the variety of levels on all three heights! The staff were kind and helpful.
The obstacle course was great fun and a little challenging for my grandson today! He had a great time doing this!
With pending weather, Ben was absolutely amazing in helping us get our times moved up to accommodate this. My kids loved climbing on the Sky Trek tower; my oldest took great pride challenging herself at different levels. I added myself to the zipline tour at the request of my youngest daughter. Our zipline guides were Kevin and Emma. We were so nervous, but Kevin was very reassuring and encouraged us to listen to our gut regarding our want to continue. My youngest daughter panicked a little and they were so polite and kind when she did not feel that she could do anymore! My oldest continued with the group and thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Admittedly, I had the most anxiety about ziplining, but actually enjoyed the 2 lines that I went on.
Start to finish. Tons of fun. Lots of laughs. My favorite part was when my grandson got stuck and could not progress any further and had to be rescued. I have it all on video. It was awesome.
We had the best time ever! We took our 5th graders there and they loved this adventure. I truly appreciate and loved the guides. I am sure we will be back next year.
We did a family fun day: me, spouse, 7yo (super adventurous), and 5.5 yo (more hesitant and cautious). My spouse and I are mid-40s and reasonably fit. I'm shorter at 5'3" and heavier. Spouse has athletic build and is 5'10". Our 7yo is all sinew, skin, and bone. Weighs about 48lbs and is 48" tall. Our 5.5yo is about 38lbs and about 42" tall. Originally signed kids up for the kids ropes course. After maybe 20mts, they both begged to be upgraded to the adult course and spent the next 3 hours enjoying the ropes course. The kids course is great and also too easy. The 1st level of the adult course was great for the 5.5yo who was challenged the whole time. Our 7yo did all the levels and the slack line. Like I said, he's the adventurous one. We all discovered that if you can take that first step, you can make it across. The lounge area in the middle is very comfortable. It was 90 degrees and HOT. But we were able to cool down and rest as much as we wanted. It can be tricky to learn how to work the harness locks, but eventually you get it. We felt safe the entire time, since we were always hooked to a guide wire, even when walking between areas. My spouse and kids added on the Ninja course. They spent maybe an hour on that. I think if we hadn't climbed ropes for 3 hours they would have had more energy for the Ninja course. As an add on at $20/person they got their money's worth. I sat that out since my hands were screaming. All of the instructors were friendly at the Ninja course. They cheered our kids on. I recommend that you bring gloves to protect your hands. They'll get sore after a while, no matter which thing you choose to do. The staff was friendly, and the facilities are nice. Lots of parking. For able bodied folks it's super easy to walk in between the lower and upper courses. My main complaint is the bathroom situation. For as nice of climbing facilities and the investment into safety that they have provided, they need to offer proper restrooms. There is a bank of (disgusting) port-o-potties available and that's it. No handwashing area. Which means, staff are probably not washing their hands (unless the tiny building for staff has a real restroom and running water. If you have issues using the restroom, or children who are still learning to use the restroom on their own, if you're someone who has periods...you're out of luck. You 'd have to hike down to the rec building about a quarter mile away. And just remember that this is a high touch environment. So, a lot of people are touching things without having properly washed their hands. I hope the owners are planning to invest in real restrooms. Otherwise: we had a great time and would go back!
I absolutely LOVE the Castle Rock Sky Trek and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun outdoor activity. As a 42 year old adult, I've gone here multiple times with friends and have also taken my teenage nieces - all of which have enjoyed our time here. It's a great way for me to push me out of my comfort zone in an environment that feels completely safe. The staff always helps you with your safety gear and gives instructions at the beginning. To reinforce what they covered, each person in your group demonstrates their ability to clip in and out of each obstacle before you're on your own. The harnesses are very secure and you are always clipped in as you navigate the different levels and throughout the course. If you get stuck or fall (hanging by your harness) and need assistance, there are plenty of workers available who will come save you. :-) They also limit the number of people that are to be on an obstacle, on the landing platforms and walkways at any given time. If you're new to the course, you can typically find a good Groupon deal! I believe you get up to four hours although no one is really counting (to my knowledge). They also rearrange the obstacles one every month or so to keep it interesting. The location is also near trails, the Castle Rock stairs, the Ninja course, and Ziplining course. They do have porta potty's available near the check-in. When you walk up to the sky trek, there are smaller storage areas where you can put a bag, water bottle, etc. Enjoy!
Our family was on vacation and had time to kill in Denver: We truly enjoyed the epic sky trek. I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for something to do in Denver. The people were friendly and willing to help you with everything. It is also a great place to chill and have a picnic afterwards.
My company has adventured on the Epic Sky Trek numerous times in the past few years and we love it! Great price for enough time climbing for a group of teenagers to exhaust themselves! It is the perfect challenge for every person; from easier elements closer to the ground, to more difficult elements on the top level! I highly recommend The Edge for all your high ropes course needs; we love it!
The perfect mixture of fun and fear. HIGHLY recommend. <— get it cause it’s high up lol but yea go for sure. The park area around is also nice has plenty of swings, relaxing areas. Along with a workout gym. When I went the kona ice truck was there. Only thing!! Bathrooms are porta pottys so go #2 before you go if you can.
Fun outdoor experience that is unique. I wouldve liked the staff members to make sure the kids were really locked onto the wires. My daughter struggled for a while and I had to get a staff members attention to get them to assist her
Sky Trek is truly EPIC! I was impressed how my five children, ages 7-12 were all able to challenge themselves, overcome fears, and be independent as they learn new skills and have a an amazing time. Even my wife and I participated and felt like kids again. My family and I recommend this for everyone that is able.
Going down the ziplines was a fun experience, and the Sky Trek lives up to its Epic name. I didn't have time to hit all the obstacles I wanted, but I had a blast tackling the ones that I did. I would recommend that you work on your grip strength, especially if you want to tackle some of the harder obstacles. I plan to come back in the future, and when I do, I hope to conquer the toughest obstacles.
I planned a birthday party here for my friend (our ages are between 22 and 29) and we had a blast! I can definitely see why people purchase seasonal passes to this place because it's a great way to test your physical strength and agility. The structure is very safe and spacious and our guides were informative and helped ease some of that anxiety that comes from trying something new.
Hannah and Adam were really cool and fun. Had a good time and would definitely go back there for sure!
Absolutely thrilling! Offers all skill levels. Crew was amazing, great day! Will do it again! I highly recommend this exciting adventure. Can’t wait to try the zip line.
It was thrilling and there were so many courses to try. We have to go back because we didn't even get through half of them. It is definitely worth it to try and it gets your heart pumping.
We had an excellent time, and want to get season passes! It was our first time, so we took note that in the future we may want to bring our exercise fingerless gloves for all the elements that wear on your hands, camelback backpacks for the water bladder, so you can have sips of water after you get across an element, and perhaps our rock climbing shoes. Such a fun time!
Lots of obstacles / routes to choose from! Had a great time and very easy to learn how to do. And here's more to fill out to the 100 char min
My nieces loved the variety of obstacles, the height & challenge… the staff helpful… anxious to return…
AMAZING! Extremely well thought out mechanics that made us feel completely safe, and therefore we could get on with the fun and thrill! One of the techs, Zack, was especially kind.
Great fun!! No time limit. My niece and nephew had a wonderful time. Lots of undercover seating for adults to sit. Many tables available and can bring food if you want to.
Kids bday and they loved it! This is our 2nd time there. Very safe but scary on many of the things to do. Parents enjoyed having a nice shady place to sit and watch from.
Amazing variety of challenges, beautiful location, and wonderful staff. The best ropes course we have ever been to out of multiple locations in Colorado and several other states.
Took my daughter, son-in-law and grandkids to the Epic Sky Trek last week and all had a great time. Grandkids range in age from 6-11 and there was something for all of them. They had never been to a park like this and took to it immediately. Staff was a great help to get them oriented and then it was just a matter of climbing and trying everything they could. The four hour time limit was more than enough for them to get to all levels of the structure. After they finished, they commented they would definitely want to come back on their next visit to grandma and grandpa's house.
We (a camp for kids and teens with cancer and their siblings) sponsored an event here for our campers and their families along with our volunteers, and everyone had an absolute blast! I highly recommend the Epic Sky Trek as it was safe, self-paced, and fun for all of our participants, ages 4 and up! Chris, the manager, was absolutely incredible in regards to setting up our event and making sure we were taken care of! Definitely worth the money (and sore muscles)!
The crew there was very nice explained everything. And had personality (Happy, laughing, joking ) and really payed attention when we got on the course ,incase we needed anything / help. GREAT FOR KIDS.....and adults has like 3 ro 4 categories of difficulties. FUN..........
Our guests from New York had a great time! We love coming here and have found the staff to always be friendly and helpful. We spent about 3 hours on the Sky Trek. You are free to take breaks and return later, but only one of our family members had enough energy to go back for more! You can bring your own food (or purchase items at the check in) and there are plenty of seats (patio tables and chairs) in the covered center area. Portable bathrooms and water are available. Next to a great playground.
Joe Lucas was awesome with the kids on the climbing wall and the 2 kids who lead on the zip lines where great as well.
So much fun! Quite a workout too. We all woke up sore the next day. It was fun facing my fears and encouraging the kids to face theirs
This is an awesome experience. So many cool obstacles. This is a great full-body workout too. Matt was an amazing guide.
This place was awesome! We made it a family trip and it's definitely one that we won't forget. We to pushed ourselves to the max and conquered certain fears. Please make sure that you have some snacks and water to stay hydrated/energized. Also, don't forget to stretch! You'll be having so much fun, you'll forget it's a workout.
Overall enjoyed the thrill. Several of the ropes were a too slacked for someone 5'3" and full extended.
My 6 year old son did the kids course and it was amazing! He was so empowered to get through the obstacles and he felt so accomplished by the end. He didn’t want to stop. The guides made things easy for him to understand and then let him go have fun. It’s a great workout as well as confidence booster for any age. We will be doing this again!
Did this for my boyfriend's birthday and absolutely loved it! Booking was easy and appreciated getting the reminders about our time. Safety protocols were easy to follow and I felt like I could jump into the fun in no time. I am not in the best shape but found the different levels of the course pretty fun to do. They map it out in a way that you don't have to do the most challenging parts of the course if you don't want to, but definitely mix things up in a way that keeps the journey exciting. Staff was great at teaching us how to navigate the course and keeping an eye on everyone, as well as being approachable and fun. I definitely recommend good shoes and maybe gloves to fight off blisters, but that's it! Everything was awesome.
This was amazing! It was challenging and yet doable! For someone who is afraid of heights I wasn't sure how I would do, but it was great! There are so many things to do at all different levels which make
We took a group of 6th graders to this incredible adventure spot and despite awful weather conditions (cold and raining), the staff there helped us make the most of it. I was so impressed by their ability to keep the kids engaged despite the conditions and, more importantly, to keep smiles on their faces and a great attitude the whole time. They went above and beyond the whole time we were there and I can't praise them enough. On top of that, the setup is wonderful - the equipment is great, the challenges vary for a lot of different comfort levels and the safety protocols were strong. The recent addition of a tent and fire pit on the top level was perfect and much appreciated too! Thanks for a great day, against all odds!
We had a great time at Sky Trek last weekend. The staff was very pleasant, easy to work with, and knowledgeable. The helped educate us on what to do and what not to do plus they encouraged us to stay within our comfort zone. The obstacles were laid out really well and each level had easy to hard part that were well labeled. Our teen stayed on the lower levels and had a good time. I did decided to go to the top and trial all those courses for the challenge. I've never done something like this but I was able to complete most of them. Thrilling, fun, exciting, and other words to describe. My recommendation is to bring lunch and drinks since there's a nice covered area to eat on the ground floor. Also, there are a lot of obstacles that take upper body strength but don't let that deter you from experiencing the fun.
Just became uncle of the year!! The sky trek was awesome. I am still sore two days later. My nephews thanked me ten times on the way home. The sky trek is challenging but I always felt safe.
