What a fun day! Tubing was the perfect way to experience the CO snow, especially for our family who doesn’t ski. The Echo Mountain Lodge was a cozy place to warm up with hot cocoa. We loved the hot springs- the changing rooms and lounge areas were very nice and had all the necessary amenities. The hot springs pool was sooo relaxing and surrounded by gorgeous tropical plants. We added in the vapor caves, which was a unique (and hot!) experience. CO Sightseer organized a wonderful experience and kept us entertained the whole time. Highly recommend!

Itinerary
Your driver guide for the day will meet you and check you in for the tour at the flagpole in front of Union Station. They will load you and up to 12 other guests into the touring van to begin.
Travel up a scenic and beautiful mountain pass on your way up the Rocky Montains to Echo Mountain.
Enjoy snow tubing at Echo Mountain, and enjoy incredible views of the Continental Divide! A covered conveyor lift (kinda like the moving walkway at the airport) will bring you to the top of the hill after every run. Enjoy our 6 lanes with quick tubes that will have you sliding through your day. Race friends in solo chutes, or link up with family for the closest thing to bobsledding!
Warm up at a tropical getaway in the middle of the mountains. The historic naturally fed hot spring swimming pool gives off tropical vacation vibes all year long. The hot mineral waters have been used to heal for centuries and you’ll feel the benefits with whatever soaking style you choose-paddle, walk, float or just relax on one of the built-in benches. Allow the turquoise waters to work their wonders, and enjoy the tropical foliage and banana trees, ferns, and flowers that surround you-many of which you won’t find anywhere else in Colorado.
Now that you have worked up an appetite, enjoy lunch in downtown historic Idaho Springs. There are many great choices to choose from. Local restaurants, brewpubs and hidden gems to suit your taste and thirsty needs. After lunch, stroll through the local artisan shops to find your perfect souvenir or gift for someone back home or just enjoy the historic buildings from the gold rush days and the western vibe of town.
Take in the beautiful mountain views as you travel through a scenic, rugged canyon along Clear Creek as you make your way back to Denver.
