Booked this during my 40th birthday trip to Colorado. Red Rocks Amphitheatre was amazing, the ride was very comfortable, and they kept us right on schedule so we could make our next appointment stress-free. Very good half-day tour!

Wonderful way to experience some of the natural beauty of Colorado while learning many neat facts about the area. Anne was a lovely tour guide-friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed. We were lucky enough to spot several elk on our tour. Bring layers-Echo Lake is quite a bit colder than the city. The tour company provides water, snacks and has hats and gloves available if needed. We left at 12:15 and arrived back at 5:30. Evening traffic is awful, but Anne was an excellent navigator.
We did the half day mountain tour in Red Rocks, Evergreen and Echo Lake. Our tour guide, Christin , was fantastic. She was knowledgeable and made an extra effort to be sure we able to photograph wide life as well. This was a highlight of our trip. We would definitely do it again. - Rick and Beth
This was the best 1/2 day tour I’ve been on. Alex was very knowledgeable and personable. The day was very organized. I highly recommend this tour
Our tour was the highlight of our trip! Jorge is an incredibly thoughtful, attentive, charismatic and informative guide. Even went above and beyond in speaking in two languages so everyone felt included. We learned tons while laughing and admiring incredible and breathtaking views at every curve and stop. This tour is a must. And if you get Jorge as a guide, that’s a wonderful bonus.
Hans was an amazing and very knowledgeable tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The scenery was so beautiful. We learned a ton about Colorado. Highly recommend this tour!
We had so much fun on our tour! My husband had never been in the mountains, everything was beautiful, our guide, Anne, had so much information and interesting tidbits about the city and surrounding areas. I do wish we could have had a little more time in Evergreen! Stopped for a beer at the Little Bear, saw elk, buffalo and plenty of deer, overall 10/10 will look at other tours next time as well!!!
This was a great tour of sites and scenery near Denver. I would recommend it to anyone who does not have a car but wants to see a good selection of sites outside the city.
The tour was great, with beautiful scenery and a very well-informed guide. It was good value for the money, and we would recommend it to anyone.
Amazing tour! Emily is the best guide! The whole group had fun, we were all different ages. Highly recommend!!
We did a half day tour to Red Rock amphitheater, Echo Lake and Evergreen. We enjoyed the tour very much. Got to see lots of beautiful sites. Tour guide Christina had lots of wonderful information and facts that she shared with us. For the price it was an awesome tour, we all enjoyed it very much. We went with family for an anniversary trip. Would highly recommend this tour to everyone.
Our tour guide Emily was outstanding, a ten star rating. Very friendly very knowledgeable about Denver and Colorado sites. She was also a very safe driver. We would be thrilled to take another tour with her to different sites.
Alex was an excellent tour guide.. full of knowledge.. took us to a few extra places to see some beautiful views.. defy recommend
Oh my goodness, we had an amazing time! I was with my family that included two teens (17 and 15). Our tour guide, Emily, was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I would definitely book with her again. We are from Az and the kids were in awe about the landscape and just thought it was gorgeous.
Awesome half day tour, great guide. If you have half a day to spend and want to see some of the great outdoors I highly recommend this tour!
Great tour that shows you the beautiful mountain side outside of Denver.
Our guide, Will, was awesome. He was so knowledgeable…from the flora, fauna, history, geology, geography, and any question put to him! We had a great time.
Very well organized , and informative!! Loved the echo lake and Idaho springs . Recommended if you want to see and a little about Colorado 👍
Anne is one of the best tour guide we have met and we traveled a lot. She is very knowledgeable about the sites we are visiting, and she is courteous and informative about everything in the area.
I did the tour with Annie and she was ANALYZING. Very knowledgeable, I learned a lot. I loved how engaging she was with everyone. I would definitely recommend this tour.
We loved the trip...the drive was good, the red rocks stop was great...as it turns out we could have stopped here a bit longer. unfortunately as we got into the mountains it poured rain, and spat hail, and the temp went down to 42f. the guide gave us a few different stops, one of which was a short walk along a stream. Still, the guide made it enjoyable. One thing...they should fix the mike.
This store was really good. Emily was our guide and she was amazing in many ways. The time allotted for the activities and the places we visited really gave us a good flavor for the Denver area outside the city.
It was a beautiful day in Colorado. We got to see wildlife, color changing of trees and some sweet little mountain towns. I Can’t say enough about our guide Emily. She was fantastic! She was funny, warm and very knowledgeable. I learned a lot on this trip. Thank you Emily!
This was a perfect half day experience. We were able to see so much and it was a wonderful day. Our tour guide, Emily, was excellent and entertaining.
Great sights and informative guide. Worked very well within my mobility (cane assistance) limitations.
The tour is wonderful. You will have a lot of beautiful photos with mountains and lakes.
Wonderful tour. Driver very knowledgeable and entertaining. Made sure all passengers were good and enjoyed each stop. Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our tour. Alex, our driver, was friendly, knowledgeable, and he really made the experience great. We saw many cool things, breathtaking views, and Alex had stories and information that just enhanced the whole experience! We got to check out Red Rocks and scope out our seats for the following night’s show! A great way to check out different spots around Denver! Thanks for a great time, Alex!
I feel like it is pot luck when you choose to take a tour in a place you have never been before. But glad Hyatt Regency Hotel reception gave me the Colorado Sightseer brochure. Drive/tour guide Alex was awesome. Nothing was too much trouble and his knowledge of all things Colorado was impressive. Pretty much the the schedule out the door which we appreciated. Great half day.
Anne was an excellent guide. She really gave us a great amount of information and her knowledge of the area heritage, and wildlife. Very fun, and informational.
Anne was great. Her knowledge of everything from heritage to trees and hiking was amazing. I loved the tour and learned so much about the area. I will recommend this to everyone.
Great information shared about Colorado. Bring your water bottle to be filled up. Alex is amazing about the wild life and the plant information on the tour. We were fortunate enough to see a herd of elk. It was an amazing afternoon. Thank you Alex!
Alex our guide was absolutely outstanding. So knowledgeable about a wealth of items and entertaining. We enjoyed our day a lot and unlike some tours that tell you five hours and finish in four, we got a little extra time due to traffic. With that said I’d have preferred a tour that offered a couple less stops but more time to enjoy them. I was constantly setting my watch timer to make sure we were back on time and didn’t really get a chance to fully relax into any of the stops. They are probably catering to a majority of people who’d like to tick more boxes but for more this would be a better tour if it had fewer stops.
The pricing for this tour does not align with the value received. The final destination was the lake, which, despite favorable weather conditions, did not meet expectations. I would have preferred to allocate more time to exploring the charming town. I recommend considering a car rental for future excursions.
Nice half day around the Denver area. Red Rocks is beautiful. Got in a small amount of hiking as well at Echo Lake.
Seeing the Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre was really cool. I wish I would have seen a concert there. Echo lake was beautiful as well as the scenery when we drove around. Evergreen was a cute little mountain town. I wish that the guide told us more history and things to do in Denver.
I had a great day with Colorado Sightseer on the Red Rocks, Echo Lake, and Evergreen tour, although we went to Idaho Springs instead of Evergreen. Idaho Springs is a quaint mountain town, and I happened to walk into the Underhill Museum which was a great little gem. It was easy to meet up with the tour guide under the flagpole at Union Station. I liked being taken to beautiful and interesting places without having to worry about planning the route or navigating. We didn't travel in comfort though; it didn't feel like the van was air conditioned. The guide did not want to turn the fan past "3" for fear of overheating the engine. It didn't feel cool in the van the entire trip. We made several additional memorable stops along the way: Juniper Pass in the Arapaho National Forest, which was an easy walk to mind-blowing views, and Clear Creek Canyon Park. Colorado Sightseer is a "small, family-owned business," so I assumed that the tour guide was the owner and his wife handles the reservations. It wasn't until the end of the tour that I realized that the guide was an employee of the couple who own the business and not the owner. At each stop we had free time to explore. The scenery throughout the tour was spectacular, and there were plenty of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the Colorado landscape. Colorado Sightseer provided an enjoyable and memorable way to experience the area. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Colorado who wants to effortlessly see a lot of beautiful places in one trip!
Great half day tour of Red Rocks, Evergreen, Echo Lake and Juniper Pass. Alex, our guide, provided tons of trivia, history and background of Colorado and sights. Perfect for our schedule and such a scenic tour!
Excellent Tour and an Outstanding Guide We had a fantastic experience with Colorado Sightseer on the Red Rocks, Evergreen and Echo Lake tour. Our guide, Anne, was passionate, extremely knowledgeable and an excellent storyteller. She made the history, geology and scenery of Colorado come alive throughout the day. Our visit to Red Rocks Amphitheatre was a highlight. Anne gave us a fascinating explanation of the incredible rock formations and the history of this world-famous concert venue. Her knowledge and enthusiasm really added to the experience. Our stop in Evergreen turned out to be something very special. We were incredibly fortunate to encounter a herd of more than 50 elk right in the middle of town! Seeing such a large herd so close was spectacular and completely unexpected. Anne gave us a wonderful explanation of the elk and the area, and we had plenty of time to watch them and take lots of pictures. It was one of those unforgettable experiences that you simply can’t plan for on a tour. We then continued higher into the mountains to Echo Lake, where we took a short hike and Anne gave us more history and information about the area. The scenery was spectacular, and it was fascinating to see how dramatically the landscape changed as we climbed higher into the mountains. The entire tour was informative, relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable. Anne didn’t just show us the sights — she brought Colorado to life with her knowledge and passion. I highly recommend Colorado Sightseer, and especially Anne as a guide. If you’re visiting Denver, this is a wonderful way to experience Red Rocks, the mountain communities, spectacular scenery and, if you’re lucky, some incredible Colorado wildlife.
Mrs. Anne was pardon my French OUTF!!!!STANDING and I had an AWESOME TIME learning about The Red Rock Amphitheater and Evergreen with its rich history and Echo Lake as well. Even before Evergreen we saw a whole family of elks just out grazing, it was the really big elk with those big antlers and then the momma elk talking with her young ones to cross the road and then what Mrs. Anne says the teenagers of the elks and then there was the babie elks out there as well. It had to be at least 35 to 40 of them and that was truly a sight to see. I’m very glad that I booked this tour with Mrs. Anne and I do plan on coming back with my wife Tia and our kids. Thanks again for an amazing day Mrs. Anne⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
We recently took another guided tour with Colorado Sightseer, and once again, this tour exceeded every expectation! Having toured before, we already had high hopes, and Anne managed to make this experience feel fresh, engaging, and personal. Anne’s depth of knowledge, passion for the history, and natural ability to connect with our group make her stand out as an exceptional guide. She brings history and local culture to life with such vivid storytelling that you feel completely immersed from start to finish. On our travels we spotted an Elk and Anne didn't want us to miss the opportunity to really see him so she turned around, and we were met with an amazing of a herd of 30-50? Elk.. a truly amazing sight that we could've missed had it not been for Anne's quick thinking to turn around! If you are considering booking a tour, you will not be disappointed! We would certainly come back for a third time!
First time ever doing a tour like this and it couldn't have gone better. The meet up spot was easy, our guide Khem was so friendly and very informative, the stops left you with enough time to get a real feel for the spot. Fantastic way to take in the sights, would definitely use again!
Good tour, not great. It felt a little rushed. There was one good viewpoint that we stopped at on the way to the primary destinations, that was probably the best spot. Our tour guide was great during the drive, but the headset doesn’t work great and we couldn’t hear half of it in the back of the van. At the stops he helped take some photos, but otherwise we were mostly on our own to explore for 20-30min at each stop
Anne, our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. We truly enjoyed our trip to Red Rock and Echo Lake!
We had a wonderful time! Our tour Guide was Anne, and she was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and very friendly! Definitely an A+ time!
Emily the tour guide was great, very informative and interesting and funny, also a very good driver! She recommended several restaurants for dinner and we ate at one of them the Urban Farmer and it was delicious!
There are plenty of photo opportunities, bathroom breaks, and information about the geography and history of the region, including how the Rockies were formed. This was a beautiful introduction to Colorado beyond Denver. Loved the stops at Red Rocks and Evergreen.
A fantastic day with Christin! We loved it! Thanks for the unplanned stops, surprises, and anecdotes! I recommend this without hesitation—everything is done to make your trip incredible!
An excellent half day tour which does an interesting sampler of the Red Rocks amphitheatre, Echo Lake, Evergreen which is a quaint mountain town. Goes upto 11k feet and temperature drops and sun intensity goes up. So even in summer do get some suitable clothing. We had Cristin as the guide and she was super informative and did multiple extra detours. We also spotted some deer and bison enroute back. The lake was the highlight of the trip with a lovely 30 min trail.
Had an unforgettable time on the Red Rocks, Echo Lake, and Evergreen tour with Colorado Sightseer! Our guide Kristen was incredibly warm and charming, and just as sharp. She made the whole day feel personal, not like a typical tour. We walked away with a ton of insightful facts about the areas we visited. Highly recommend if you want a guide who genuinely knows and loves Colorado.
