You will spend a day away from the city and explore the peaceful mountains, see some wildlife and waterfalls. You might see a ghost at the Stanley hotel?? Robert was an excellent tour guide and driver. He made many stops along the way pointing out interesting sites, we had opportunities to take pictures and walk around.
We saw some beautiful sights and learned a lot from our great guide, Robert. Thanks!
I had a wonderful experience discovering the Rocky mountains and I learned a lot. The tour guide was very helpful and engaging and made sure to stop in places that were not particularly touristic, but beautiful. He stopped the bus for us to watch a whole herd of elk and he offered to take pictures for us. The timing at stops was perfect and I never felt rushed in any way.
Eric did a fantastic job. Really enjoyed and learned a lot thanks to Eric.
This was an amazing tour! We saw beautiful sites and some wildlife. The lunch was great and the small group size was perfect.
This tour was fantastic. Plenty of stops along the way and a good amount of time at each stop. Brian was very engaging and knowledgeable.
Goes to multiple places: all with fantastic scenery. Tour guide was energetic and pleasant. Lunch included.
Vanessa is an awesome guide! She started the tour with ice-breaker and some of us became friends and even exchanged numbers after the tour members introduced each other. Her bubbly and cheerful personality lightened the atmosphere throughout the trip. She’s very knowledgeable and peppered the trip with fun facts as well as information about the scenic spots and what to look out for; as well as which spot to take photos. Would highly recommend a tour with Vanessa anytime!
It was an amazing experience for me and my daughter. Brian gave us a lot of information and made sure we get to capture beautiful pictures. Thank you!
It was amazing and the guide knew what he was talking about and he was very interesting. Lots of fun
Eric was amazing. He was energetic and gave us ample time to roam around and soak in the scenery. He is very knowledgeable and gave us all information about the places we went. Lunch was also good.

Vanessa was great. Full of information and a bundle of energy.
Do NOT miss it! An excellent way to see Rockies National Park. The sites were breathtaking! Great for all and for parents visiting their students at CU, Boulder. The lunch was great too.
Very informative, guide had knowledge of the history and kept the group informed and answered all questions
We had a beautiful day exploring the Rocky Mtns. Our tour guide Brian was phenomenal. He provided lots of details about the area and methyl a time schedule.
Vanessa is very knowledgeable and she has been almost around the world …that is the key as a tour guide …experiences 👍
Great way to see the Park without a lot of walking. Our guide was Vanessa and she was fabulous, very knowledgeable.
Vanessa was a fabulous guide and we had a fabulous full day on the road trip excursion. Highly recommend
Robert was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Best of all, he kept us moving, to a number of great spots for experiencing (and photographing) Rocky Mountain National Park. Took all the hassle away of driving myself, and we got to benefit from his experience.
Brian was GREAT. Very knowledgeable about the mountains and Denver. He was very kind and patient! It was a great experience!
Beautiful scenery! Brian was very patient, jolly and informative. Slowed down for us to give us time to take a picture of a deers.

We had a nice time with lots of lessons and history with Brian Livingston ! He’s the best We spent a full day, had lunch and got to see Some wild life also . A bit of snow also. Great experience 10/10
Thumbs up to Viator, Explorer Tours and our Guide Brian. We booked through viator for the very first time. But the way they managed everything deserves a shout out. Brian gave us a very friendly and well researched guided tour of the rocky mountains. Would love to visit again.
We had a great trip into the Rockies! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and flexible!
Very knowledgeable tour guide David Was very into making the group happy Learned and saw a lot Great included lunch
Fun trip with a picnic lunch. Our guide Robert was great; gave us some park history and pulled over to let us view the wildlife and scenic viewpoints along the way. We went to the top; 12,000ft! The van we traveled in was roomy and comfortable. Bring a jacket; temp at the start was 80F degrees; it was 35F degrees at the top!
The admission fee was reasonable, given the convenient pick-up and spots we were taken to. The hours we spent were just ok for me, for a day trip. The crowd size of twelve is just fine to feel not lonely, or overwhelmed. It's best for adventurous people, who have never hiked before, want to start somewhere, it includes a very beginner friendly flat hike. The elevation might bother some people anyway. Our guide Robert kept us entertained throughout the trip, shared his knowledge about Colorado, RMNP, and related stuff. The pick up time was a bit confusing at first, when we called, they helped us right away. The best part is we did not have to worry about anything, like timed entry pass, or lunch (provided). Overall, it was a great experience.
So worth it to leave the driving to someone else while exploring some of the park. Clean, high top van with huge windows. Eric of Explorer Tours was a terrific guide. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We learned a great deal. We saw elk, mule deer, a pica, and wild turkeys, to name just a few. The scenery was breathtaking. As an added bonus, the aspens were changing colors. Lunch was delicious. We really enjoyed this tour.
Robert is an excellent driver and shared so many interesting stories about the places we visited. His explanations helped us gain a much deeper understanding of Rocky Mountain National Park than we would have if we had driven ourselves. He took us to many amazing spots with absolutely beautiful views. It was a fantastic experience, and we really enjoyed the trip!
A must when coming over to Denver. Remember to pack water and a warm clothing as even though it was hot before going, when you go up the mountain it’s pretty cold
This was an ideal tour for all ages. We were able to see elk and birds on our tour. There was a flat 1 mile hike or you could climb 1000 feet on a mild hike. Eric was an excellent guide and was able to give us the history of the area so we could truly appreciate the Rockies. He was able to drive us up to 11,000 feet to see the tundra. A bonus visit to the Stanley Hotel, the setting for Steven King's The Shining!
Brian was an awesome tour guide and we highly recommend this tour of Rocky Mountain National Park!
The tour went exactly as advertised. Our guide Eric was very friendly and knowledgeable. The time of the year when you visit Rocky Mountains does matter.
Great tour driver and stops were explained . Even on the way to next one Eric explained everything wecwere going thru very intently.
Fantastic tour and a great way to experience Rocky Mountain National Park! Our guide, Eric, was excellent. His enthusiasm for the area and nature was infectious, and he made the entire day fun and informative. We had perfect weather, and although the wildlife was fairly quiet, we were treated to the amazing sight of a herd of elk crossing the road in Estes Park. Eric knew all the best viewpoints and photo spots and gave us plenty of time to explore without ever feeling rushed. The tour was extremely well organized and punctual—we left Denver right at 9:00 a.m. and were back by 5:00 p.m. The provided lunch was also perfect. A beautiful, relaxing, and very well-run day. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Eric as your guide!
loved it, brian did a great job of explaining and driving
Once in a lifetime views with skilled, personable and knowledgable guide! The smaller group size really works well for getting to know your fellow travelers and enjoy the intimate feel of the entire experience.
I was visiting Denver for a conference and decided to explore the mountains. This trip was absolutely breathtaking. Our tour guide, Robert, made it exceptionally special as he shared all of his wealth of knowledge about the CO area and the park. This was his 85th trip, and it definitely attested to the fact that he had such a robust amount of knowledge and experience. He found the Elk, he let us explore the beautiful Aspen trees in all of their yellow glory, and the picnic lunch was super special. It was a perfect day for a trip in the mountains, but we would not have had the same experience if we had a tour guide that did not give so much of himself and his extensive knowledge. We learned so much!I highly recommend this trip for those wanting to see the park via a guided tour. Ask for Robert!!!
I had a wonderful excursion to the Rocky Mountains, and our tour guide, Dave, was excellent! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire trip enjoyable. He shared interesting information about the area, the scenery was absolutely beautiful, and he made sure everyone had a great experience. Dave went above and beyond to make the tour memorable. I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Denver. It was a fantastic day and definitely a highlight of my trip!
Definitely recommend going through explorer tours.
I had an amazing experience exploring the Rocky Mountains! Eric was an incredible tour guide—so friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. He made everyone feel comfortable and truly helped make the experience special. I highly recommend this tour!
Breathtaking just as promised.
Eric was very informative and entertaining on the tour. Sandwiches were delicious. Would definitely recommend this tour.
