The town resides at an elevation of 7,526 feet in Clear Creek County. It features an ample downtown with a lot of shops and restaurants serving the I-70 travelers. Excellent tour and guide. Very informative and time was managed well! Guide was well versed and gave tons of pertinent information.
The tour guide and the receptionist were both amazing! I love that we could walk by the river and around the lake to see the beautiful scenery! Highly recommend!
Jerry the guide was very knowledgeable about areas we visited and gave us enough time to check out the stops.
Wonderful way to spend a morning in Denver! Steve was a great host, showing us beautiful locations and explaining the history of the mountains
I truly enjoyed this experience in the mountains, I was a lil nervous about traveling solo for this experience, but our traveling coach Hassan made it all worth it. He is a free spirit & loves nature at heart. He was very informative about the history of Denver. The meet up point was in front of the transit station which was a seven minute walk from my hotel, the weather was beautiful that day so I enjoyed the walk. They gave us water to hydrate before we go up into the mountains. We took a van, I rode with eleven other women that was there together. The views Hassan took us to were breathtaking, we were very high up into the mountains. We saw Aspin trees, Echo lake was stunning, I was left speechless of how beautiful the mountains were, mountain Evan had snow on it. We also went into a small beautiful town in the mountains, the coffee shop was chef kiss, I also enjoyed the store in the town, I bought some unique pants & a vest. They also had restaurants, which I didn’t try because I was walking around the neighborhood taking pictures. I enjoyed this experience solo & I’ll do it again & refer others that’s visiting Denver. Thank you Hassan! You’re the best! 10/10
Went on a cool Rocky Mountain tour with Ira! Ira was fun and hospitable. WThe views were fantastic and the weather was perfect. I brought handwarmers and toe warmers so I was prepared. Defintely recommend this trip.
Great experience and Brennon was a wonderful guide. The stops/viewpoints were stunning and Brennon explained the history of the spots well.
This tour was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide was IRA and he was phenomenal-very informative, engaging, and thoughtful. We enjoyed every aspect of the tour and caught some breathtaking scenery!!!
Perfect way to see the Rockies! Just the right amount of time at each stop. No hiking involved. Rico was an amazing guide. Enjoyed every minute of this tour.
Great experience, loved every stop. Jerry, the guide was friendly, knowledgeable and made the trip a wonderful one. Got to see the first snowfall. It was great.
Rico was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable, funny and kept everyone interested and involved. Scenery was gorgeous and loved stopping in Idaho Springs! Great 1/2 day tour!
The tour was very fun and informative. Our tour guide Adam was very kind and always engaged. Even though the weather wasn’t the most ideal, we still managed to have a great time!
Very pleasant place with a warm welcome at summit: hot chocolate with some doughnuts to enjoy sun rays, mountain silence and cool air. Just sit there and get some delight
This was a great trip, packed with real mountains, scenic views and beautiful photo ops. The guide was knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, and made it feel like we were traveling with old friends. The drive time passed quickly as he told us about the area, and played John Denver classics, along with other songs- each timed perfectly like a background soundtrack to his commentary and our adventures. The hike by echo lake was relaxing and suitable for those not accustomed to altitude. Idaho Springs was quaint with nice scenery and great shops.
Steve did an amazing job. He was very knowledgeable and gave us opportunities to see amazing sites. We saw a herd of elk as well. A great trip!
This tour was exactly what I hoped for — a refreshing break from the city with absolutely stunning views. Even though it’s only a half‑day experience, it feels full and well‑paced. We stopped at several beautiful scenic points, including Echo Lake and Idaho Springs, and each location offered something unique. I loved having time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Our guide was fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about Colorado. They shared great stories about the area, pointed out wildlife, and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the trip. The drive through the canyon and up toward the Mount Evans Scenic Byway was smooth and safe, which I appreciated on those winding mountain roads. What surprised me most was how much you get for the price. It’s the perfect option if you don’t want to rent a car or spend a full day driving. The itinerary is thoughtful, the scenery is breathtaking, and the small‑group feel makes it even better. Highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Denver and want a memorable, easy, and beautiful Rocky Mountain experience.
Very informative and great views. Nice not having to drive and just enjoy the views you would miss if driving.
Gives you a taste of the rocky mountains if you only have a 1/2 day, but only had about 1/2 hour to hike around echo lake a bit. Our guide was super nice and gave us lots of good information throughout the drive. I thought she used the time we had well
Our guide, Rico, was incredibly knowledgeable and provided us with fascinating insights into the area’s history.
Very enjoyable tour to enjoy nature and do some easy hiking/walking. We went beginning of October and especially enjoyed seeing the aspens changing color.
We had an absolute blast today! The tour was incredible from start to finish. Our guide, Ira, was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and informative. He shared so many great insights and absolutely left us wanting to come back for more! Even with a bit of rain, we were completely captivated by the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains and the beautiful trails. Exploring Idaho Springs, Echo Lake, and the other stops was a truly impressive experience. The tour was worth every single penny, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!
I had a wonderful time despite it being a cloudy day, so the views weren’t as spectacular as usual. Not a problem at all! Ira was a fantastic guide. We got to go for a short walk (optional!), and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. I would definitely recommend!
The whole experience was amazing! Getting to see multiple views that were so beautiful and stopping in the town as the last stop to try restaurants was so fun! Also had the best pastry at the bakery in the little town! It snowed on us at one of the stops while overlooking the mountains so that was awesome too! Very fun day activity !
Fantastic experience, highly recommend. Jeff, our guide, was incredible. Will definitely be back for another tour. Martin
It was an amazing trip!We visited many different areas in the Rocky Mountains and saw lots of Buffalo. Our tour guide was the best, Matt C was awesome and knew the area very well.
Our guide, G, was fantastic. he was so enthusiastic, even though he must have seen the views 100's of times. He was inspiring quite honestly.
All was good except couldn't here in the back so half the trip I had no idea what was going on ..
Steve was a great tour guide and provided meaningful insight to the surrounding area during our trip. I'm glad I decided on this experience.
It was an amazing experience! We got to see so many amazing views and our tour guide Steve was the best!
I paid for 4 excerions from this company and all 4 listed bottle water as part of the excursion but NONE of the excursions had bottled water there was a water pitcher with a spigot that multiple people had to share this is nasty it’s the same as everyone drinking from the same bottle I had to purchase my own water on all of the trips with the amount of money I paid a bottle of water should of been provided as advertised
Our driver, Gable, has a great personality, and is kind and engaging with the guests. He is so knowledgeable about the area. He made it a fun trip.
Had a wonderful experience! I was in a little bit of a rush because I had a flight to catch and they were very thoughtful and accommodating. They also were very responsive when I reached out with questions. Had a great tour!
Very Good.Nice Trip. I enjoyed this trip with my family. The time in each stop provided is sufficient to explore.
Echo Lake was beautiful, and the shops in Idaho Springs were cute! It was a nice afternoon escape. We went over a holiday weekend and had a bit of traffic, but our tour guide handled the challenges great and offered alternatives to maximize our adventure!!
I went on the morning tour and had the absolute best time! My tour guide Andrew was super knowledgeable and so kind. He absolutely made the trip even more enjoyable. I think you get so much for the price paid for this and would recommend it to anyone! You get a good amount of time at each stop and Andrew gave great suggestions on where to go and what to do.
This is the best! I described it as a movie preview. You get to see the beauty of the Mountains but you’re left with the feeling that must return. The mountains were beautiful, Irá, our guide was informative, thoughtful and it knowledgeable.
My experience was amazing. The tour guides were very informative and so so nice. I had issues finding parking and they were so helpful. The views they took us to I could have never done myself. This was a great tour. So many good pictures
Well planned and informative. Very safe driver. Was very knowledgeable not only about the geology of the mountains and history, but is a great ambassador for Colorado.
Nick was Very knowledgeable and fun. We made a stop when we saw a bison herd, and all the stops were perfect
Excellent two day trip on the Rocky Mountaineer from Banff to VAncouver via Kamloops; we were fortunate to book Gold Leaf service so had a separate dining car below our deck serving great food and a wide range of drinks. There was also an open part on the floor level so one could take in the fresh air and a little exercise. The large windows in the seating compartment allowed good all round views although we had an emergency window next to us so not as good as the non emergency windows and worth asking about when booking. The servers/guides, Derren, Louise and Michelle were excellent and a great wealth of knowledgeable about the surrounding land and water.
The group size, van, and tour guide, Jed, were excellent. Jed provided great information throughout the tour, and the pace was comfortable, making the experience enjoyable and easy to follow.
Awesome experience where we got to see a lot of beautiful scenery/attractions in a limited time. Our guide Jason was super knowledgable , a safe driver, and was kind ( and hilarious!)
Beautiful vistas, cute town visit for 45 min, excellent guide, Hayden, shared geological, horticultural, and historical information.
Hayden was such a sweet and informative tour guide. He truly made everyone comfortable providing water, general tour information as well as food and activity recommendations beyond what we did on the tour. We were able to see the beauty of many viewpoints that Hayden stopped by, as well as wildlife on the mountainside. Idaho springs was the cutest and historic mountain town that gave us a great picture of what lifestyle people live outside Denver.
A wonderful morning tour, briefly stopping at picturesque points for photo opportunities and calling at Echo Lake and Idaho Springs for longer durations to explore. Hayden was a fantastic tour guide, informative and entertaining, as well as a safe driver which is exactly what you need for navigating mountain roads. Highly recommend this tour, for a quick way to escape the city and experience the mountains when staying in Denver.
Honestly, It was all about how authentic Gable was about his love for Colorado. We kept going up in elevation and learned more and more along the way. The weather was crazy, we went from blue skies to cloud/fog chasing us down the Echo Lake. It was all beautiful! (Take a sweatshirt!!) the weather can change quickly.
Not really Rocky Mountain experiences. Too much time to spend at Colorado Springs.
Our guide was so knowledgeable and inclusive. It was a beautiful tour with rich content and friendly banter. I was alone and made 8 new friends!
Fantastic trip! Jason was genuinely nice and well informed about the Rocky Mountain and Denver area. He went the "extra mile" to ensure we saw as much as possible. The add on gondola trip was amazing!!!!! Thanks Jason for the great jokes and especially the well timed Playlist of songs!!!
