I would highly recommend using their tour company. Nice staff, easy-to-get-to departure place and great overall tour of RMNP. Chris, our guide, was super knowledgeable about the history, wildlife, etc. and was also very engaging with everyone on the tour.

We had an incredibly positive experience with our last minute decision to book this tour. It was our first time taking a guided tour of any kind. Our tour guide, Lex, was exceptional. She inspired confidence in us from the first moments of the tour. Lex had a deep knowledge of the flora and fauna and ecosystems of the park, which was both entertaining and educational. We really enjoyed spending our day with her. She asked for input and feedback from the group as to our comfort and needs, and what stops and slow-downs to make. She prepared our refreshments. We felt the retractable top van was a super comfortable ride and we were immersed in the amazing scenery of RMNP. Don’t hesitate to book this tour—and ask for Lex! We especially enjoyed a stop to take a short, optional hike to view a waterfall at the Alluvial Fan. It was a gorgeous fall day in the park and it was memorable to get out, walk around, and enjoy the spectacular natural scenery.

Dave was great! Great tour, took the stress out of attempting to do this ourselves! Blankets, drinks, snacks were provided and Dave explained what we we’re looking at as we went along!

We had an amazing tour with tour guide Dave! He was full of interesting stories and is very passionate about his work. We learned so much about the ecosystem, trees and animals that live in the Park, along with the history of the Park. The photo opportunities were fabulous, and the weather was great, so we had a very memorable trip to Rocky Mountain National Park! I would highly recommend this tour, and the awesome tour guide!

We had a fantastic experience! Our tour guide, Brian, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly & accommodating to everyone's needs. The van was comfortable & we loved the retractable roof & sides, especially since it rained off & on during the tour. The snacks & beverages provided were an extra nice touch. Love the comfortable seats, retractable roof, refreshment area with hot drinks, chips, cookies, etc. it made the trip even more fun having all that!

We were fortunate with the weather as our guide Brian was able to retract the windows the entire ride, it was a bit chilly but they had blankets for anyone who wanted one. They also provided snacks and drinks which was a nice touch. We were a week late for the rut and we did not see any wildlife but the scenery was stunning, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and we would book this tour again if we go back to Estes park but would wear a hat next time as I did get a sunburn as there was not a cloud in the sky.

This was a great experience even if some areas of the park were closed. We were able to relax and enjoy the scenery and the wonderful commentary by Brian. Much better than driving with all that traffic! The small tour bus was very comfortable. Snacks and beverages were provided and the office staff were great. Highly recommend.

Brian was a great tour guide. Lots of info about the park. He even makes custom mochas! They provide great snacks, lots of choice beverages, and cozy blankets. Whole team is fabulous. You can’t go wrong with this tour.

We had a great tour on this bus with lots of amenities, including hot chocolate, hot tea, coffee, and many snacks and cold drinks. Have never seen a bus as out, fitted with amenities like this bus. Lex it was a great tour guide and has a sense of humor and made it a fun time for all of us.

Our tour of Rocky Mountain National Park was very informative thanks to Brian, our knowledgable and experienced guide. The van was really comfortable and the view with the glass top was awesome. Unfortunately the low clouds were a problem but Brian made sure to take us to interesting spots that weren’t affected by them. He was just great! I would recommend this trip to friends.

You get to enjoy the sites without driving. Our guide (Chris) was very knowledgeable and funny! You also get in the park early without "timed entry."

The trip was excellent. So happy we chose to book on our first full day in the park. Gave us an idea of how we wanted to spend the rest of the trip. Chris was a great guide. It was about a 3 hour trip. Loved the glass tops and being able to see in every direction. Before we got to the bottom he raised the top for an even better experience. Such a fantastic tour on a super comfy mini-bus! Chris was our guide & he was top-notch! He was extremely knowledgeable about all things RMNP, as well as Estes Park & the surrounding communities. Just a wealth of knowledge. Everything about our time with this tour was outstanding, and the drinks with snack station on the bus was an added bonus! We will use them again when we return to Estes Park. The best part of the excursion was definitely when the windows were opened & we were riding in the fresh air! Blankets on the bus made it even cozier on the cool morning! Be sure to request Chris!

Park at the visitors center for free and walk 10 min up to the meeting point. Everybody was great and very personable. Chris the driver was awesome and his knowledge is fabulous. Free drinks and snacks on the bus. Great time. Highly recommended!

Excellent tour , AMAZING views , great hospitality. The tour guide and van driver Aaron was excellent and very pleasant.

Our guide, Lex, was wonderful, combining a perfect mix of informative details about the park and environs and a little bit of comedy. The bus was very comfortable and even had snacks for our 6 and 8 year old kids! The stops all offered beautiful views and small walks to see the sights. It was a great way to see the park’s alpine area and the Alluvian Fan. Highly recommend!!

All throughout the hotel is very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet had different options each morning.

We booked the tour to get acquainted with the park before exploring on our own. We didn't have timed entry permit so the tour was a good option. Aaron was a great guide with lots of stories and information about the park. We were extremely glad to have him driving us up the mountain! I have a fear of heights but I trusted him to keep us safe so it really helped me enjoy the view and leave the driving to Aaron. It was quite chilly on the day of our tour so we were very glad to have the retractable glass top. We started out with the top closed then Aaron opened it about half way up until we reached the visitor center. Then Aaron closed it again for the return trip. It was the perfect combination for the changes in temperature. Our whole group enjoyed the tour especially seeing the elk along the road and at our first stop.

Over the years, we have been on many tours and we have never seen a beverage station or a refrigerator on the vehicle. Our guide, Dave was informative and fun. When we got to a higher and colder elevation, he made us hot drinks, and there were plenty of snacks. Dave answered all of our questions and had a great mountain appropriate music playlist which added to the tour. The purple van was decorated so cute, too. I highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide Aaron was fantastic. We were on a narrow trail what was rough in spots, but he handled it flawlessly. He had plenty of stories and a great running commentary, along with fitting music. He took us to multiple spots where we were able to get out and enjoy the views and get photos. The retractable top van was awesome, as it not only provided great views when closed, but when retracted you were able to enjoy unrestricted views and the fresh mountain air. The van was quiet and well stocked with complimentary coffee, cocoa, water, soda and snacks. Everything was top notch and I can't recommend this highly enough. Fantastic!

Our family had a great time with our tour. Brian was a great guide with a lot of information. Plenty of stops to get out and stretch your legs and take pictures. Snacks, drinks, restrooms breaks. We didn’t have to worry about the timed entry into RMNP, but just buzzed right through, as our tour was on a Tuesday. We got to see elk & mule deer on the way out of the park. And we got to see plenty of rainbows up top. 😃

We had the best time on this tour. Our guide, Chris was amazing! The views were incredible and I learned so much about RMNP that I didn’t know, even though I grew up here! You got a sense of Chris’s passion for the park and his love of the mountains through his stories and unique facts that completely capture the beauty of the park.

Guides are very knowledgeable about the ecology of the Rockies. Vehicles were clean, smooth riding the removable tops were very fun.

Our tour guide Dave was very knowledgeable, good sense of humor and excellent at navigating the old falls road terrain! I was very happy to be able to sit back and enjoy the views. We hit some rain and hail near the top of the mountain so he went out of his way to bring us over to bear lake and we saw some Elk!

We travel a lot, we're attempting to get to all 50 states by the summer following my oldest graduating high school. Because we go so many places our family is always looking for a unique experience that we can't find anywhere else and Purple Points Tours provided exactly that. Rocky Mountain National Park is spectacular and driving through it in a glass top vehicle (especially with the glass retracted) was an awesome way to see the amazing surroundings. Our tour guide Lex was great, funny and informative. And she stopped at great places and she was excellent at spotting wildlife. I expected this to be an awesome experience and it exceeded my very high expectations.

It was a beautiful fall day in the Rocky Mountain National Park. It was nice to have the option of a covered bus. Great views. Zach was very informative and even some jokes. Nice ride, good snacks and a nice fresh brewed cup of coffee
