Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air amphitheatre built into a rock structure near Morrison, Colorado, 10 miles (16 km) west of Denver. There is a large, tilted, disc-shaped rock behind the stage, a huge vertical rock angled outwards from stage right, several large outcrops angled outwards from stage left and a seating area for up to 9,525 people in between. The Amphitheater has a long history of offering a variety of music venues to visitors of all ages. Red Rocks Amphitheatre access may occasionally be limited due to concerts, rehearsals, film shoots, or other public and private events. When access restrictions occur, your guide will showcase other scenic and historic points of interest within Red Rocks Park and make every effort to provide the best possible experience.
Evergreen’s historic Main Street, bordered between a pink cliff wall of boulders and the rapidly flowing mountain waters of Bear Creek is compact, but full of irresistible fine arts, crafts and gifts worthy of any home, as well as bistros, coffee shops, boutiques, specialty shopping, and live music.
Nature lovers can always gain access to a pristine and breathtaking encounter with nature when going on a tour of Evergreen Lake. It offers stunning views that soothe the senses and invigorate the body with fresh air.
Buffalo Bill Cody remains the ultimate Old West icon. One of his final wishes was to be buried on Lookout Mountain above Denver, and his grave site at Lookout Mountain Park is free to visit. Recommended. Our guide, Eric, was informative with a great personality. Slightly bad weather for our tour, but was still a good trip.
Eric was amazing! Tour was great. The weather really wasn’t in our favor and somehow it was still beautiful and honestly, perfect!!
Wanessa was absolutely wonderful. Fun, informative and kind. The red rocks and foothills tour made several stops, all amazing in their own way. A random highlight was spotting mule deer and bison. Highly recommend.
Brian was amazing and provided an abundance of fun and interesting facts. Views were spectacular. Would highly recommend.
Excellent half day tour if you have limited time. Tour guide was very informative and efficient. Amazing views at Red Rocks.
Excellent tour, knowledgable guide.
Wanessa was friendly and informative. The drive was nice and the views are spectacular. Even though it was foggy and drizzly wanessa was cheerful that we didn’t mind
Another great TripAdvisor recommendation! Eric our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area. He was concerned about making sure that we were safe, comfortable and had a good time. We enjoyed our tour very much. I recommend this tour when you visit the Denver area.
Plan on paying for parking. I had to pay $35. Eric our guide was great. Warning to the elderly, don’t walk down the steps unless you’re in good health
Plan to pay for parking at the Denver Convention Center. I had to pay $35. Also, if you’re elderly and in poor health, don’t walk down the stairs
A well rounded tour. Got to see and do a number of things. I was very happy that we went to Red Rocks Amphitheater. It’s so much cooler in person. Nicole was very personable and informative. (And a good driver). Our bus had folks from all around the country and we all had fun. Highly recommended.
Tour guide was excellent Enjoyed all of the locations visited Well worth the investment
Small group saw quite a bit Would have loved 30 more minutes in Golden Not enough time to even walk the Main Street let alone look around
Great trip with stunning views. Red Rocks is quite an experience. Dave gave us a lot of interesting information. The trip would benefit from being longer with a few more stops for photo ops.
David has been a fantastic tour guide. He gave us a lot of information in a concise and funny way. We enjoyed this tour tremendously.
We thought this was a great experience. Short of going to a concert, which would've been amazing, getting to go out and walk around the venue for a while was fun. We also stopped on the way there to see other rock formations and the views were beautiful. We definitely recommend this!
Nicole our tour guy was fabulous. Lots of interesting conversations and good vibes. Would definitely recommend it to solo or not solo travelers.
I was here for a business trip and had some downtime. I wanted to explore the area so I booked this trip. I’ve always wanted to see Red Rocks. This tour was amazing! Nicole was our guide. She was so knowledgeable and was awesome! She gave us enough time at every stop, gave us some history lessons, showed us great photo spots, and even took photos for us. I highly recommend taking this tour and through this group. I will be using this site again for booking all of my excursions.
Very comfortable environment. Tour guide was very informative. Limited time at the stopping points but overall, worth it.
There are detours up all over Denver and there are one-way street make it hard to navigate some walking instructions. The company that was there to give us a tour where sold out could not pick us up. We were close, but and then they would not refund our money so we booked again for Tuesday with another company. That did a much better job.. They were focused on their customers, which is what they should focus on..
Bob was an excellent tour guide with a lot of information to share regarding all the stops. Golden and Red Rocks were amazing. This was a great trip overall.
Robert is very knowledgeable and it was fun day to spend with him
Comfortable, clear communication, and efficient. Simply delightful. David was very clear on when and where he would be picking us up after each stop. He was very thoughtful regarding our capabilities and desires. He even made a special stop to allow us to see the bison that were out which is unusual.
Our guide, Wanessa was fantastic. knowledgeable information around the area.. Some fun facts also. Made sure everyone was comfortable and looked after us very well. I would totally recommend booking a day trip with this company. Punctual, and flexible.
The communication was clear and efficient. His great way to experience, red rocks and the foothills. I appreciate the microphone and speakers worked well and David did great telling us when he would be picking us up and where he would be picking us up each time he dropped us off.
Had a great time seeing the highlights and felt we had enough time to see things without being rushed.
Great tour to see the sights and not lose a whole day. Vanessa was a great guide and very personable. Small group tour is the way to go.
Had Vanessa as a tour guide. She did an amazing job giving us so much interesting information . You are able to get incredible pictures at Red Rock and the other stops on the tour. Would highly recommend doing this tour to get a good oversight of the surrounding area.
Vanessa was very knowledgeable as our tour guide. We packed in a lot of sights. Red Rock was our favorite. Enough time spent at each spot.
Wonderful tour with our guide, Vanessa, who was very knowledgeable on every part of the tour. Sights demanded much walking and proved to be rewarding when reaching the points offered. The towering Red Rocks above and around the amphitheater is a wonder of creation . We were shown lovely parks in the mountains, but my favorite stop was in the foothills of Golden CO, a quaint little city of a variety of shops and it's beautiful park by a river stream for tubing, fishing, and other small river sports.
Brian was an excellent guide with a lot of information about Denver and the surrounding countryside.
Was a great experience and a great way to see a lot in one day. The stops are short so sometimes feel rushed. I also would have liked to to see the coors brewery more. But the food guide was great and very engaging.
This was a great experience! A really good mix of riding and stops to walk around and take photos. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful would definitely recommend.
Robert Thurber was AWESOME. also he was training Vanessa and she was GREAT!! They were so friendly, funny, and accommodating fro everyone. Wealth of knowledge and sharing! Very impressive! Would recommend and book with them every time!
Great guide, easy going and beautiful sights!
Strongly recommend checking this tour out. Scenic views from the Red Rocks all the way to Golden with a professional tour guide. If have doubts about altitude sickness, the highest we went was about 7400 ft. Do this tour?
Brian was knowledgeable and friendly. He had an expert command of the mountain history and views. Saw wildlife elks ,moose and deer. This is a great tour for everyone
The scenery at red rock was stunning. Our guide, Nicole, was very knowledgeable outgoing and kept us entertained the whole time. The herd of elk that we saw was awesome. Worth every penny.
Alexis was wonderful and so knowledgeable! The trip was executed perfectly and we had a ton of fun!
Our group tour went to a variety of locations that were very beautiful. We went to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Buffalo Bill's resting place located on Lookout Mountain, Evergreen Lake and Golden, Colorado.

We had a great time on our tour to Red Rock Amphitheater. Our tour guide Nicole was great. She made it a lot of fun and had a great personality for the job. Very knowledgeable also. It was a really nice day. Would definitely recommend it.
