Red Canyon Loop Half Day Jeep Tour

Thoroughly enjoyed our time on the Jeep tour. Coach shared a lot of history and great stories! Beautiful scenery.

Coach was our guide and did a fabulous job. He made it a lot of fun and provided a lot of history and stories. Definitely worth it!

Had a great time but be prepared for a bumpy ride. Jared was a great driver and taught us so many things. We had a great time with him.

The guide “Coach” was phenomenal he was educated on the type of mountains and the different types of tribes in the area. He made it a very interesting experience for us.

Fantastic Tour, fantastic company. Absolutely book one (or more) of their tours. First, Jennifer, you are a 10. You answered all my questions, gave hints and not only took care of scheduling the Jeep tour but the Royal Gorge Train reservations as well. You were so patient with me. So convenient working with one person. Thank you so much for your amazing assistance. We only had time for 1 tour. We did the 1/2 day Red Canyon. So much fun. Our guide was Paul - another 10. He provided so much history and information. Before heading to the canyon, Paul took us around very interesting parts of town and gave us all the history of each site. Then the drive to the canyon, beautiful countryside with more history. The drive into the canyon and through the canyon is beautiful. The road through part of it going up the canyon is crazy. Short part is really bumpy, but so much fun. Paul is more than an expert plus driver. His knowledge of so much history is worth the trip. This is first class operation with really great people. We are talking about making another trip to Canon City from Texas again. We had no idea what a great spot it is. We will definitely take one of their other tours when in Canon City again. Actually there are 2 other tours I'd really like to do on our next trip. Don't miss the opportunity to do a jeep tour with them.

Beautiful afternoon trip through the back country in Red Canyon and Skyline drive, Paul was a grest guide, very knowledgeable about the area. i would definately reccomend this tour.

Richard's narrative during the tour was outstanding. 17 yo and 12 yo had a great time which was the reason for our trip. We will reserve another tour if we're in the area again.

We really enjoyed our morning with Coach as our guide. There were four of us retirees and this tour took us places that we would never have been able to do on our own, all with an expert driver, historian, and teacher to tell us local lore. Would definitely recommend this tour to all.

Minus the glitch with our reservation (which was fixed) We LOVED the tour. It was a lotnof fun for the whole family going across the bumpy dirt roads. Highlighted by seeing dinosaur foot prints.

Canon City is a charming town full of history. Spending time on a Colorado Jeep Tour with any of their knowledgeable guides will provide insight of the history, geology, and a wealth of natural beauty. I was lucky to have Coach as my guide who has a deep well of experiences, stories and knowledge to share. And he is humorous as well. He kept me engaged during the entire tour. Plus we had another guide on the tour to train. So we had 2 guides sharing information. What an awesome experience . I highly recommend this tour while visiting Canon City.

What an amazing time. Fun was the name of the game. But we also learned so much about the geology and the very rich history of the region. Our guide Richard was so knowledgeable, friendly, humorous, and just an all around great guy. He was also great with the kids too. I would recommend this your to everyone!

Our guide was named Coach and was very knowledgeable and presented things in a fun and engaging way. We were very happy with learning about the various rocks and formations, native american histories, the sights, and suggestions that he made for local food. Very satisfied.

My husband and I really enjoyed the jeep tour through Red Canyon Loop. Our guide, Mike, was really interesting and informative. He shared his knowledge of Cañon City and its history. The drive through the loop was great! Rugged terrain gave an idea of what it might have been like centuries ago. Beautiful views!

Red Canyon Park is beautiful and educational. Our guide "Coach" was great driver and very informative. We had a wonderful time

Mike was our driver and he took us to many beautiful sites and he has a vast knowledge of history. I was solo and paired with a family of 4 and we had a great time. I took way too many photos and loved the end of the trip with the drive on Skyline Drive and the dinosaur 🦕 footprints. Very cool!

We had a very good time. They helped get my husband to the Jeep who is in the wheelchair. Mike the driver was excellent. He was telling us about the history of Canon City, plants and animals etc.

It was well worth the money spent and tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area. Gave ample opportunity to take pictures and see the beautiful countryside.

It was an excellent experience and tour guide made it so much fun! We had things in common that we both have served time working in the education sector.

We did Red Canyon today with Russ. We had a great time and our grandsons have not stopped talking about it. Russ is very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. Our is grandson has autism and is nonverbal. Russ was very patient with him and very helpful. We would recommend this company to everyone.

This was the highlight of our trip. Our guide Dede was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating and made the whole experience great. Beautiful scenery. Couldn’t ask for a better day.

This was a great tour for all ages. Our group of four are in our 70s and we shared the Jeep with a young couple and their son. We all had fun. We enjoyed the combination of in town touring and the rugged mountain climbing. Scott was a great tour guide and driver…very knowledgeable and friendly.

The entire rock formation and knowledge of the tour guide and I would recommend this tour to anyone. I had a great time and meeting people with the same interests.

Scott showed us around the canyon, various archeological sites, and some breathtaking landmarks and views. He shared great stories with us along the way from the State's history as well as his own family connections to some historical figures in Colorado. Highly recommend!

We'd definitely visit again! Our tour guide, Tom, was AMAZING! He was able to give us a great combination of historical and contemporary perspectives on the area. He was accommodating and make sure everyone on the tour was comfortable. The team at the office/home base were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

Very nice operation. Everyone was so nice. Mike, our guide, shared so much info and history. He answered all the questions and made the trip enjoyable. It’s worth doing, as you can get to places you wouldn’t have on your own. Highly recommend

I can’t begin to say how much I loved this tour!! It was informative and fun and we’d do it again any day. The Jeep ride unto itself was a fun time, especially for my kids (12 and 10), but there was so much history and things to learn about CO that we didn’t know. A shout out to our tour guide, David. He was lovely to be around, and helped this single mom with her 4 crazy kids the whole time. He approached us and immediately said happy birthday to my son whose birthday is on Tuesday. What a special touch!! We will definitely tour again in the future. Thank you, Colorado Jeep and David!

This was the best way to see Cañon City and Red Canyon! The drive up Skyline Drive was a little terrifying, but was amazing to see (especially the dinosaur prints)! Added bonus, I didn’t have to drive that terrifying road! We then drove around town. Our guide (Scott) told us a lot about the area and then we made our way to Red Canyon. That was the best! We saw so many cool things on the trip! We saw a natural arch up close and personal, saw some cow elks, and learned a lot about dinosaurs found in the area. It was my favorite thing on our trip to Colorado!

The Red Canyon tour was just beautiful. I'm not a fan of heights, so the first 5 -10 minutes was hard for me, but after that awesome! My husband enjoyed all of it. Gorgeous scenery, got to see some wildlife. Tom was very knowledgeable and made the trip fun. Jennifer in the shop is really nice and they had lots of items to pick from.

Tom was very informative and a great driver. We really enjoyed the trip! We even were lucky to see some wild life along the way.

The owners were very nice and even moved the tour back to start 1/2 hour later. Our guide, Wilson is very knowledgeable about the entire area, Canon City and Red Canyon. The prison history is interesting as is the dinosaur bones. We even had our phone fall out off the jeep and did not know it, but once we did, Wilson turned around and we found in on the dirt road and it works. The arch is a neat place that we would never have seen. Thank you. Less town, more off roading around the canyon is all I would say maybe for improvement.

The most exciting adventure we have. The tour guy teach us a lot about the City history and dinosaurs discoveries. Mr. Wilson is the best!!!

My family booked the Red Canyon tour and our 9-year old had a lot of fun on this trip. Our guide Richard was very knowledgeable about the area and clearly loves his job. He made it fun for all of us! The trip is WAY more bumpy than we thought it would be, so just be prepared to be fully shaken for about 3 hours. The trip felt a bit long for us, but that's a personal preference. If you're into geology and/or biology and/or history, this will be an informative adventure.

Wyatt was an amazing guide! We had so much fun on this adventure. We were greeted by friendly staff and loaded up and on our way ASAP. The tour started off around town and then went up into the mountains. Wyatt had so much knowledge to share with us and it was all “cool” info. We got to stop several times for pictures and quick hikes to the BEST breath taking views. We even saw dinosaur prints! This was really a highlight of our trip! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic tour and tour guide. Richard was very knowledgeable as well as a very safe driver. The roads are narrow and scary at times so beware. Even with the road conditions we felt our driver knew what he was doing. Great trip. Highly recommended.

The tour was FANTASTIC and so exciting! My 17 and 8 year old daughters both LOVED it and my little one couldn’t stop smiling and saying WHEEEEE. I would definitely do it again!

For over 3.5 hours Tom Snoke drove us to and through places in the Red Canyon area that we never would have seen or visited. He was exceptionally well versed on the area and was well skilled in navigating the terrain that was both challenging and visually unique. Colorado Jeep Tours provided a great experience with a quality vehicle and route that left us wishing that it wouldn't end for another 3 hours.

The Red Rock Canyon Jeep tour was a great off road experience! Wyatt, our guide, was the BEST! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and history behind the geological formations. Scenery was amazing and the off roading was rough but fun. Wyatt took great care of us and we felt very safe with him at the wheel. Would highly recommend this tour, just be prepared for a very bumpy ride and cliff side roads. It was dry for our tour so very dusty. Would not recommend for small children.

We thoroughly enjoyed the jeep tour through Red Canyon (half day). It was very hot, but cold, iced water was supplied by the company. Our guide, Richard, was great; he was affable, very attentive to our needs, informative, and a safe driver. It's a bumpy ride, so be prepared! Richard was knowledgeable about the history, the geology, the geography, as well as the flora and fauna of the region. He invited questions and comments along the way. We were very pleased with the experience.

Tom was a great guide. Gave us lots of information about the area. He was very caring in making sure I was comfortable. I am amputee he made sure when we would stop I could get out and see the beautiful scenery. Great tour!

3 generations of women on an off road adventure! Steve, our tour guide, was super knowledgeable regarding geography, geology and indigenous history. Also not afraid to look stuff up, he stopped to bust out his wildflower reference guide to identify the purple wildflower, Horsemint, of which the horse is not fond. A skilled driver, the jeep didn't turn over!

The Red Rock Canyon jeep tour with Scott was terrific! He had a very easy way about him, and it was like going on the tour with a very knowledgeable friend! He knew a lot about the beautiful terrain and the history of the area, and my husband and I were particularly fascinated by the stops he showed us where dinosaur fossils were discovered. It was evident that he loved the area and enjoyed sharing it with others. I would highly recommend this tour!
