Patrick was awesome. He made us feel like old friends right from the start and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and felt at home. His Suburban was very comfortable, he had waters ready for us, and relaxing on the ride back to Denver was a great way to end the day. The train ride and views were amazing. He also introduced us to several local shop owners, and we had a great lunch at a local brewery. Couldn’t have asked for a better day. Highly recommend!

Patrick and the Scout Tour were fantastic! My wife and I did the private trip from Denver to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, and the Cog Train to Pikes Peak. Patrick picked us up at our hotel on time in a beautiful luxury SUV. He was a professional and safe driver and has the perfect personality for the job. He made the trip entertaining, pointing out interesting things along the way. He knew all the best photo spots and even took our picture several times. He is also an expert on Manitou Springs and seems to be friends with everyone in town. He kept us on schedule all day, but we never felt rushed at all. Seriously, it was probably the best travel/tour experience we've ever had and well worth the price. Next time we'd like to do the Red Rocks Tailgating trip!

This tour was amazing. It exceeded my expectations. Patrick, our tour guide, anticipated every need including blankets and umbrellas for the cog wheel trip to the top of the mountain. I recently had a hip and knee replacement and Patrick adjusted the pace to meet my needs. This experience was a 10 out of 10.

Excellent tour! We highly recommend it!! Our driver Patrick did a fantastic job showing us all the sights including walking around Garden of the Gods with us and showing us the highlights there. His knowledge/recommendations regarding the best shops and restaurants to visit at Manitou Springs made that stop very enjoyable. And his narration regarding the history of the places we visited as well as his easy going manner made for a really fun day! The COG railway to Pikes Peak was an awesome experience as well and certainly one of the many highlights of this tour. The views are breathtaking there and not to be missed. The Suburban was an exceptionally comfortable vehicle to spend the day in with our party of three. Patrick thought of everything from charging cables for our phones, Gatorade, plenty of water, extra blankets for Pikes Peak and even binoculars. Wonderful job Patrick! You made our limited time in Denver most enjoyable and we were able to accomplish seeing all of the sights on our list in one day!!

These attractions are absolutely worth adding to your itinerary. Patrick and Scout Tours provided the perfect way to experience all three destinations in a single day. Patrick is an outstanding guide who brings each location to life with interesting stories, local knowledge, and helpful recommendations. His enthusiasm and expertise made the experience even more enjoyable. We traveled with our four children, and every one of them had a fantastic time. Patrick was great with the kids and kept the tour engaging for everyone. While you could easily spend an entire day exploring each of these locations, this tour is an excellent option if you're short on time and want to experience the best of the area without feeling rushed. It was a great personal experience and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly! All around a great day trip! From picking us up from the hotel to going to the different points in the itinerary and back to drop off it was a well scheduled and paced trip.

Patrick was very personable and friendly He arrives on time and provided snacks and drinks -water,Gatorade for the journey. The ride was very comfortable He wasn’t just a driver though- he pointed out places of interest and walked with us in the Garden of the gods park He also showed us around Manitou Springs and joined us for lunch.

If you are going to book a tour you need to book a tour with Patrick. His local knowledge of the area can't be beat. He is very easy to talk with and down to earth. He picked us up on a very clean and spacious green Suburban right at the specified time. The scheduling of the tour was perfect as we didn't run into any traffic or had to wait and all the stops on the tour was flawless. He was ready with any questions he had and helped follow up with some questions about things to do and places to eat even after the tour. We forgot to bring water but Patrick thought of everything as he help provide water, snacks and Gatorade. As this was definitely needed during the walk of the Garden of the Gods. And since riding the Cog railway was so high in elevation it was important to stay hydrated. He really went out of his way to make sure our time in Denver was really memorable. He even brought his own Polaroids to provide us a souvenirs for all the memorable places we visited. And as the photographer in the family this was one of the rare times I was in the photo. The Polaroids are on the refrigerator reminding us of the great time we had. When we come back to Denver we will definitely be calling Patrick.

We had a great time on our private tour and highly recommend it. Patrick was so nice and easy to spend the day with. He shared stories with us and took pictures for us. We did Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs and rode the train to Pikes Peak. It was a full day of fun and we had a blast. He even made a special stop at the Harley dealership on our way back.

Our morning walk in the Garden of the Gods during a heavy snow storm was magical. Patrick is a knowledgeable, caring and friendly tour guide. He owns a confortable luxury SUV which made us fell very safe driving in the storm. Unfortunately the snow prevented the COG train to reach the summit of Pikes peak but the experience was very enjoyable ( we made it up to 12,000 feet). Patrick used the extra time available to drive us back around the Garden of Gods to see some areas we could not see during the morning storm. Thank you again Patrick for a memorable and pleasant day in your company

Patrick was awesome! From the thoughtful arrangement of blankets and packs, to the water and snacks along the way! He was knowledgeable of the history and locations and even offered a surprise Polaroid of photos to remember our trip! I would recommend him anywhere in Colorado!

Patrick was awesome, picked us up at our rental house and escorted us to all of our destinations. He was very accommodating to my wife who had to move a little slower. It was like hanging out with a friend for the day who is a local and knows all the good spots and can tell you about them on the way. Our only complaint is that when you get to the top of pikes Peak you only have a short 30 minutes before having to return to the train. Otherwise, everything was spectacular!

Very professional and kind. Patrick went out of his way to take great care of us and thought of everything ! I was leary of using a guide, however, I have since recommended Scout Colorado to all my friends.

Everything was well thought out from the beginning. From the perfect seats on the cog train to having hand warmers and a blanket if we needed once we got to the peak. Then to end the day got to see garden of the gods for part of the sunset.

This is an incredible excursion. We only had a few days in Denver, and this was our favorite day. Patrick from Scout arrived at our hotel and shared his expansive knowledge on our adventure. He had water, a variety of snacks, blankets, and lunch recommendations. We learned so much about garden of gods, manitou, and the area. He knew all the perfect places for photos and had a Polaroid camera to snap fun memories. We will be taking another excursion with Patrick when we are back in Denver.

Patrick was great. The experience was incredible. Cold on the top of Pike’s peak, but worth the views. Train was fun, private car to keep valuables. Garden of the Gods is a must if you haven’t seen it.

It was priceless ! We had the privilege of sharing this experience with our guide Patrick . The ride was super comfortable , there was plenty of snacks and water provided too . But what really made this experience was how knowledgeable , friendly , and that he seemed to be just as excited as we were to share the adventure . Pikes Peak was phenomenal , and Garden of the Gods was beyond our expectations . Patrick hiked with us and showed us around pointing out wildlife and formations along the way . He was really laid back and it was so much fun - we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience .

Amazing tour ! Highly recommend ! Patrick picked us up and dropped us off at our rental condo , Was so great to relax and enjoy the scenery without the hassle of driving and parking . Patrick is an amazing guide , very knowledgeable & friendly . Garden of the Gods is stunningly beautiful and he guided us on the best trails to see everything . He had plenty of snacks and water for us . Also a backpack with blanket to take on the train up the mountain to Pike’s Peak . Had tickets with reserved seats for us on the best side of the train to Pike’s Peak ( best views ) . There was snow at the top of the mountain ! Donuts in the cafe at Pikes Peak were a fun treat . Patrick had lots of suggestions for lunch places in Manitou Springs . Had a great lunch on the patio at Border Burger Bar . Big menu with lots of choices . Best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had ! We enjoyed seeing the mountain town of Manitou Sorings and little shops . Was fun to try the natural mineral water . Very relaxing and enjoyable day . Traveled with my teenage daughter and we both felt safe and comfortable . Amazing day !

Patrick was amazing. We brought things we would not of considered. Snacks, water, back packs and blankets!!. Would so do this trip again!

Our tour was conducted by Scout. Patrick was our guide and was wonderful. Garden of the Gods is breathtaking and a must see. Visiting Manitou Springs was a cool detour - it was great learning about the history as well as visiting the shops in town. The train ride was a bit rough - about 75 min each way and the woman on the mic talked incessantly. Every once in a while, she would say something insightful, but the majority of the time she just wanted to talk - cracking terrible dad-jokes, etc. It didn't help that the intercom was set at an 11, so the trip was basically listening to her scream for an hour. The top of Pike's Peak is breathtaking. Weather and clouds can be very iffy, but thankfully the clouds/fog shifted for about 5 minutes for us to take a few amazing pictures. The hot cocoa was delicious but stay away from the donuts (2.5/10). So while the trip is long, it was worth it for the views. Overall, it's a very long day but worth it

Our tour with Patrick was awesome!! Garden of the Gods couldn’t have been better, lunch and exploring Manitou Springs was relaxing, and the cog railway to Pikes Peak was well worth it! Patrick knew all the ins and outs of each area which really maximized our time in each stop. He had us well-prepared with waters, snacks, blankets, etc. To top it off, we hired him for the next day to drive us to a concert at Red Rocks. He was professional, personable, and laid back enough to make you relaxed all day - especially for first time adventurers like us! Thank you for a great tour and first visit to CO!

If u want great tourist excursions with out the hassle of driving or navigating. This is it. Patrick our host was great. With wonderful information on all the things seen!!! Started with garden of the gods with a tour of the most amazing rocks then shopping and lunch in Malabo spring. To finish it off a pikes peak experience. Patrick picked us up at the hotel and no worries from there. Wonderful day of exploring and learning new things.

We had a GREAT time with our private tour guide, Patrick! He thought of everything! We were picked up at our hotel with fresh cold water and snacks. He delivered us to the Cog Railway Depot taking pictures of our family. He sent us off with backpacks with blanket & umbrellas (just in case). Patrick was there to pick us up after our trip up Pikes Peak. Taking us on a guided tour through Manitu Springs for lunch and shopping. Then off to The Garden of the Gods. Once again Patrick gave us lots of information, pointed out special spots and taking pictures along the way. He delivered us back to our hotel with more refreshments. Great accommodation and vehicle!!!! ♥️

We had the best day with Scout on their Pikes Peak COG Railway experience! From start to finish, everything felt so thoughtfully planned and personalized. The most amazing experience. Patrick was the best tour guide ever in our 25 years of visiting places. He goes way beyond to make sure that you are extremely comfortable. He is also very knowledgeable and a very safe driver. The car is brand new and impeccably clean. Patrick provided us with refillable water bottles, snacks, blankets and binoculars for our trip.

An extraordinary journey to the top. Breathtaking scenery and we discovered an incredible view at over 4400 meters, where everything was visible in 360 degrees. A view not offered to us anywhere else.
