Pikes Peak Jeep Tour

Our guide John was fabulous, friendly and super accommodating. The road to Pikes Peak was closed after mile 13 due to weather so after driving up and seeing great views, John also brought us to Garden of the Gods. He also recommended the best Italian restaurant in town.

This was the best experience of our entire vacation to Colorado. Lisa was so informative and engaging. We took several tours, but this one was, by far, the best! We enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience! My husband wanted to drive Pikes Peak, and it now glad he didn’t…this way he could see all the beautiful scenery and not have to hyperfocus on the road..James our tour guide, made us feel very comfortable (I am VERY afraid of falling) and was very knowledgeable, extremely cool, and willing to take all the pictures we wanted..I can not recommend them enough!!!

The Jeep tour is the best way to experience Pike's Peak. Our guide Bree was very knowledgeable and helped us to take in great vistas all along the trip up. It was a a fantastic tour.

Our tour guide Bri was awesome. She was witty and very knowledgeable of the sites and history about Pikes Peak. The views were beautiful, the weather was chilly and we got a little bit of snow falling. Highly recommend Bri as a guide and Mountain Jeep LLC.

This jeep tour was so much fun. It allowed us the pleasure of riding up with the top down to enjoy all of the views and most importantly, without the stress of driving up ourselves on those hairpin turns or looming over the edge. We could really focus on all the beauty around us. Our guide was full of information and stories on the ride. We never felt rushed and we made several stops along the way up. Kelly also had waters for us if needed and she took several couples photos for us with our camera. It was a great trip!

We absolutely loved our Pikes Peak tour! James was so informativie about the history of Pikes Peak and the nature of the area. Getting to relax in the Jeep and take in all the views instead of concentrating on driving was invaluable. James also gave us recommendations of places to dine or visit in town and we enjoyed everything he recommended. Highly recommend this tour it is well worth the money!

We had a wonderful tour with John today. He was fantastic and of course the mountain was breathtaking. Highly recommend. We had a little problem finding the parking lot and called and James stayed on the phone with us to make sure we got there ok. Great experience from both James and a John.

Great experience. James was very knowledgeable about not only Pike's Peak, including interesting stories/ happenings, the Native Americans, the other mountain ranges, wildlife, local ecology, cripple creek mine and the area reservoirs. Gave us lots of opportunities to get out and take photos at all the right places.

Our 3-hour Pikes Peak tour was absolutely amazing, and our guide, Bree, made the experience unforgettable! From the moment we met her in the parking lot, she made us feel completely relaxed and right at home. We ended up getting incredibly lucky—we were the only two people on what could have been a four-person tour, so we had the entire back seat of the Jeep to ourselves. Riding several miles with the top down while taking in the breathtaking scenery was an incredible experience. Our first attempt at experiencing Pikes Peak was on the Cog Railway, and while the train ride was a fun experience, it just didn't compare to driving up the mountain. The drive along the Pikes Peak Highway, navigating the incredible switchbacks and stopping to take in the spectacular views, was absolutely amazing and well worth a second trip. This time, we finally made it all the way to the summit, and it was an experience we'll never forget. Bree was friendly, knowledgeable, and so easy to talk to. We had great conversations throughout the tour, and by the end it felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend rather than just our tour guide. She shared fascinating facts and interesting stories about Pikes Peak and the surrounding area that made the drive even more enjoyable. Seeing the bighorn sheep on the mountain was definitely one of the highlights! This was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We highly recommend this tour, and if you have the chance, definitely request Bree as your guide. She truly made an already beautiful adventure even more memorable. If you're trying to decide between the Cog Railway and a guided Jeep tour, we can honestly say the drive up the mountain offers a much more immersive and memorable way to experience Pikes Peak.

This tour is a must if you are going to the summit of Pikes Peak! Our guide, James, was a delight. He shared so much information: geological facts, environmental info, pointing out other peaks and the different trees as we climbed. He even had some local ghosts stories and Big Foot lore. We experienced a thunderstorm just as we reached the summit and James quickly got us safely into the Visitors Center until it passed. He also took photos of my husband and me at several different locations.Of course, you can drive yourself to the top of America's Mountain but you would miss so much! Just do it, you won't be sorry.

This is such a great deal to see such a beautiful landmark. Bree was so nice, knowledgeable, the best driver, talkative, private, and interactive. Having someone drive for you or you can see everything it was so nice ,guess that's what you do on vacation. This option is much better than catching the cog train.

We took 2 jeeps for friends and family and both tourist guides are very friendly. The tour is what is expected and they are right on time.

John was our guide and he was amazing!! He knew i was a bit anxious, so he gave me words of encouragement and assured me he had plenty of experience driving the mountain. He set me at ease immediately. We shared a little about our families and life and before the tour was done, he felt like a neighbor. He was very knowledgeable about the mountain and it's history. Told us interesting stories and facts about the area. He was simply an excellent tour guide. He was patient and kind to us 'old ladies' and we had a great time with him. Ask for John, he won't disappoint, he's incredible at his job and just a friendly, kind individual! The scenery and views are unmatched, you literally feel like you are on top of the world!! Best tour we did in Colorado Springs. We will definitely be back! Take a light jacket even in the summer, it's chilly at the top of the wind is blowing.

Amazing experience. Highly recommended especially if its your first time in Pikes Peak. Roads were treacherous but my guide Bri drove it like a champ! Ask for her if you can.

If you are wanting an adventurous and informative experience of the mountains, you need to book this! Amazing ride up the mountain with stops for great photos and James is very knowledgeable so you stay intrigued hearing new facts through the ride. I recommend going on a day with good weather so you can experience the summit, because that was a breathtaking experience to see everything below and in the distance. Since I came solo I will have to come back again with my family because it’s genuinely that cool of an experience.

Totally worth the money. We originally booked the Cog Railway but after deciding it was too peoplly we decided to upgrade to the Jeep tour with John. He was a great tour guide. We were disappointed that the top of Pikes Peak was closed due to weather John adjusted and took us on a tour of the Garden of the Gods along with going as far up the mountain as allowed. As a lifelong resident of the area he had lots of interesting stories. It made for a fun ride. So glad we chose him and would definitely recommend anytime. Thanks John.

Definitely worth the money to take this tour! John was our tour guide. He was friendly, professional, full of knowledge, didn't rush through the tour, answered all of our questions, and made the visit memorable. He also provided helpful information and recommendations in the surrounding cities.

Great experience. Even though we only made it to Glen Cove it was worth it! James gave us a wealth of information and history of the area. We drove through Garden of the Gods, stopped and saw the rock formations and had plenty of time to explore!

My wife and I had a great trip up Pikes Peak! John is friendly, a great driver and guide. We still were able to make stops along the way and get some great pictures. John was able to share some great history and facts about the area along the way! The weather did not allow us to go past mile marker 13/19, icy roads🥶. On the way back down the mountain he took us to Manitou to try a sip of a couple of the natural springs in the quaint downtown. We definitely want to come back maybe in the fall to reach the summit!! Thanks for a great trip!!

Im sure this was noted somewhere and probably more than once! But I don’t think it can be emphasized enough that one may or may not get to the top, completely weather dependent and totally out of everyone’s control! That being said, I had a great time all the way around! Thank you!

John did a great job and told us all about the mountain in an entertaining way. He answered all of my kids’ questions and that says a lot!!

We learned quite a bit of history about Pike's Peak throughout the tour, and the stops along the way (both on the way up and the way down) were so picturesque. It had snowed a couple of days before, and all the views were breathtaking. We highly recommend this tour!
