My tour guide was Jed. Jed was accommodating, knowledgeable, and made the experience great. Please be aware if you go in November, there’s a chance for snow on the train tracks which resulted in us not going all the way to Pike’s Peak and cut that experience by 1.5 hours. Also, please read the fine print and lunch was not included November through April. Lunch was one of the reasons for booking this as well so was bummed that was had to get our own lunch after paying $239 for this experience. Otherwise, everything was beautiful to see and had a great time for what I was able to experience.

The van ride to Garden of the Gods and to the base of Pikes Peace was great. Driver was very helpful in pointing out things. He got us promptly to Train there we had Eric and Ryan. They got us safely to pikes peak with lots of information. Highly recommend this trip
We parked at Hiawatha parking lot (old mans trail), they charge per hour and you do have the option to add time. We took the shuttle 33 to the Cog Railway ($20 parking on site and very few spots). The shuttle was easy and so convenient. The bathroom facilities on site were nice and had many stalls. They also have a gift shop. Once on the train you will wait about an hour and half for any facilities. The seats are small and not the most comfortable. Make note that the people across from your seats will be A LOT closer than you think. You may be in their space if you have longer legs. It may be better to book seats across from each other. I am a plus sized person as well as my husband, we fit but there was no room between us. I was not prepared at all for the feeling once you hit the top. I would recommend bringing a refillable bottle and also carrying oxygen. I had a headache the entire day that was pretty rough. Also we didnt get the best view at the top due to the fog. The top has a nice facility with information, gift shop, and rest rooms. You can also get beverages and donuts. The donuts were just ok.
Loved the tour. Train up and back was amazing. Pikes peak was a great experience. Our guide Adam was so helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this trip
This was a great tour. The stops were well timed. I really enjoyed the Garden of the Gods. Our tour guide, Adam was fantastic. Very informative and attentive. He was also a lot of fun. We would highly recommend this tour.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience on this tour! Everything was well organized, enjoyable, and exceeded my expectations. Jeff was our guide, and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. There are no words to describe how beautiful and breathtaking Pikes Peak was or how magnificent it was to walk the paths in Garden of the Gods. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable experience. If you have the opportunity to take this tour, don’t hesitate—you won’t be disappointed! Five stars all the way!
Jeff was amazing and the tour was beautiful. He has always some great information to share and knew some awesome spots to stop. Tour is a 10 out of 10.
Very informative and extensive. You have enough chance to see a good deal of interesting stuff. Jeff was a great guide, excellent driver, right on time, respectful and super nice
Our guide, Jason, was outstanding and really made the day something special.
Jason was an amazing tour guide! The company was very accommodating. Lunch was a nice touch as well.
What an incredible day. Garden of the Gods is amazing, beautiful and pure magic, We had a great sack lunch and then went to pikes peak for more amazing views. Our guide was great. very accommodating and personable. Well worth the price for a a full day of exploring.
Jed was our tour guide. I don’t know how Viator does it but they align with terrific third parties. Jed was a perfect mix of teacher, comedian and safe guard looking after our safety. The trip was fantastic. The train offered great views of the mountains and wild life. The Garden of the Gods was spectacular with Jed stopping at the best locations for pictures and site seeing.
Wonderful way to spend the day seeing the beautiful scenery outside of Denver. All of the logistics were taken care of for us, and our tour guide was informative and engaging.
If bad weather, you may want to reschedule. We couldn't go to summit. I wish train windows were nonreflective so photos could be taken without glare.
This trip was a great time, but you should know that weather can affect the running of the Cog Railway. The tour group is not in control of that. The day we were there, we could only go partway up. It was still a fantastic journey, but if reaching the peak is important to you, be aware that once summer is over, mountain weather can change your plans. They Cog Railway will give partial refunds if they cannot reach the peak. The rest of the day was phenomenal. Garden of the Gods was beautiful, and Jeff was an informative and fun guide for the drives.
Excellent accommodations. Great place to stay.
Be prepared for temperature change at the top. I suggest that you would make the meeting place BOLDER in the confirmation instructions. This would make easer to find. The tour guide was difficult to recognize as there was no uniform or flag to mark the spot.
Interesting beautiful ride on the train, informative conductor the weather does get much cooler, so be prepared
We went in October 2026 and the weather was great! although unusual for this time of year. Adam was an excellent guide and knew all the cool spots for pictures without a lot of other tourists. We saw Garden of the Gods; ate a nice lunch; went to the top of Pike's Peak on the Cog Railway; and still had time left over to walk around Manitou Springs. I would definitely recommend this tour since it is all planned for you.
This is one of my favourite tours I've ever done! The guide (Adam) was awesome - he got everyone talking and was funny and engaging. The drive out passed by in no time with his commentary and humour. The stops were well-planned and I feel I saw the best of Colorado. I took the trip primarily to find a way from Denver to the Cog Railway at Pikes Peak, so the added stops were a huge bonus. The final stop rounded out the day perfectly, and the tunes on the way back were perfectly curated. I'd highly recommend this trip.
This tour was the highlight of my trip to Denver. We enjoyed a short hike through Garden of the God's, followed by a tasty picnic lunch in a beautiful spot, then up the mountain on the cog railway to Pikes Peak and finally capped off with a trip to Manitou Springs where we were able to either shop or as we did, enjoy a quick snack and a beer.
We loved Garden of the Gods and could have easily been happy ending our trip there. Train ride to the top was, to me, not worth the expense. The loading of the COG train was less than organized. Pikes Peak is more beautiful looking up at it than down from it.
Jerry is the best! Kind , knowledgeable , considerate and took great care of us at every stop. Good driver. Very attentive to lady in our group with mobility issues. Thanks for a great day. Pam and Georgianna
This was the best day, our guide was knowledgable, it was a full on day but so much fun I loved the cog wheel train and red rocks Also our guide took us back for sunset photos A must if you are in Denver
We had a wonderful time! Our guide kept us amused and had everyone get to know each other. The van left on time and we were a punctual group. Garden of the Gods was very colorful and scenic. The Pikes Peak railway was a memorable experience. I recommend this tour and our guide Jason to everyone. This is a trip that will live in our memories.
It was absolutely amazing, Justin was the best guide, very welcoming and kept us occupied the whole trip, best guide ever, so attentive to my needs.
Amazing tour! So nice to be able to relax and know Jerry had everything under control. The sights were amazing and everything was so easy.
Jason was a really great guide from start to finish, going above and beyond, asking our group if there was anything we wished to add or adjust. We weren’t able to go to the summit that day because of too much snow, so that was the only bummer.
Jeff was very good(Guild) worth the price
We had the best experience. Our guide, Jason, was fantastic. We had all sorts of weather including lots of snow at Pikes Peak but the cloud cleared on our way back down. We were lucky to see Bobcats in the Garden of the Gods and also Bighorn sheep. The lunch was great. Way too much but beautiful. The Garden of the Gods was amazing as well. A fabulous day. Highly recommend.
Had a fun, wonderful day with Gable as our guide. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and gracious. Five stars well deserved.
Great day! Jason was a great tour guide and showed us the way as a local would. Pikes Peak was amazing especially on a clear day!
The whole trip was amazing, seeing the Garden of the Gods and traveling on the Cog train up to Pikes Peak. The included lunch was a nice sandwich.
It’s very nice tour. Peaks Pike is very good. Prepare to low pressure in the top with some dizziness One thing we didn’t like about lunch. We were supposed to have picnic lunch. We specifically wrote that we need veggie sandwiches. But no lunch was provided to us. Neither there was a lunch stop at a restaurant. It’s better for the company to look at what is our choice and not let us do the trip hungry.
An Outstanding Day at Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods What a fantastic nine-hour tour! Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods are spectacular, and seeing both in one day made for an unforgettable experience. The scenery was breathtaking from start to finish. Jason was an excellent tour guide: friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic. He made the day enjoyable and kept everything running smoothly. We came away with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this tour—especially with Jason as your guide!
Wonderful experience! Snow at the top was fun! Guide was funny and engaging!
It was an amazing activity that everyone should experience. From the amazing private tour guide to the mountains, to our knowledgeable railway guide up to Pike's Peak. It was amazing! If you are not good with high altitudes, just be sure to be prepared. Also bring layers because you will experience all four season in one trip!
Our guide Jason was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. Pointed out interesting view and was able to find us some Big Horn Sheep
This was the easiest and least stressful way to get to experience the incredible Pike’s Peak summit. It took the worry and frustration of trying to drive and get tickets to everything. I would never have gotten to experience the beauty at the top of pikes peak without this tour! Driving up there would have taken over 1 1/2 hours with tons of hairpin turns and switchbacks that I didn’t want to deal with!
Jason was our tour guide, he was so nice, fun and knowledgeable about the area and made the trip more enjoyable. The train ride was amazing and the views were incredible. So glad we were able to add this to our itinerary.
Adam was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and entertaining! He helped make it a magical day. The only improvement I would suggest is transportation with a little more leg room. There were many retirees on that trip and my aches and pains took a beating. However, even with the same transportation I would definitely book it again. The destinations were magnificent
Great experience! Adam was a great tour guide and we enjoyed the day. Gave us lots of info. Thank you!!
We had the best experience our tour guide gave us the best experience He was very knowledgeable and knew all the hidden gems in the area
Everything about this tour was better than expected. The tour guide, Jason, was awesome. He knew exactly how to manage the schedule to get the maximum time from the tour. We appreciated his “hometown” knowledge about the area, his humor and music input make the trip very enjoyable, the picnic lunch was a large sub sandwich, chips & cookies. He also had great suggestion for photos. Highly recommend!
It’s a very pleasant experience Our guide/driver Mr Gable is very friendly and well taken care of the group Nice van and excellent driving
We had an absolutely fantastic day with Jason from Aspire Tours! From the very beginning, he was welcoming, funny, and clearly passionate about sharing his hometown with us. Jason was born and raised in Colorado, and that local knowledge made all the difference. He took us through neighborhoods and pointed out things we never would have known to look for on our own. We’re from Yorktown, Virginia, where American independence was fought for and won, so we especially loved Jason’s 250th USA shirt! 🇺🇸❤️ But what really made the day special was Jason himself. He had the perfect soundtrack for the trip, playing songs along the way that matched wherever we were headed. He kept us laughing with movie references, fun facts, insider tips, and maybe a corny joke or two. 😂 He also gave us the inside scoop on how to make the most of every stop, making sure we got the best possible experience at both Garden of the Gods and the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. And a HUGE thank-you to Jason for taking some of the coolest photos of our day! 📸 We couldn't have asked for a better guide or a more memorable adventure. Highly, highly recommend Jason! In fact, if I knew Jason was leading a tour, I'd sign up for it without hesitation. You’re guaranteed local knowledge, great stories, fun facts, plenty of laughs, and an experience you’ll remember. Thanks, Jason, for making our day at Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak so memorable! 🏔️🇺🇸 — Two very happy travelers from Yorktown, VA (Cyndi & Richard)
The railroad is cool. The train ride is awesome. People scared us so much about altitude sickness that I had a lot of anxiety going up the mountain and drank way too much water since there’s no bathroom on the train, but was fine in the end. There is not nearly enough time at the top. So way more time in transit than up top. The conductor was cheeky and made lots of jokes which is OK. I did not appreciate however when they pointed out things to look for that weren’t real. And they are very strict on board about what you should do but do it in a way that’s kind of like you’re a toddler. Definitely room for improvement on that front. For those of you who are scared of heights or get motion sick ( like me), the train goes super slow and you can’t often see all the way to the top or the bottom so even though I have some of those issues I did not have trouble at all on this ride.
If you want to experience the cog railway, garden of the gods and pikes peak, this is so perfect. Our guide was good, and the team was responsive too. The picnic lunch was great. They had some amazing sandwiches, cookies and chips!
Jason shared his in-depth knowledge being a local which added to the positive tour experience. Good photographer as well, played our music requests and added his sense of humor. Enjoyed the breathtaking views and landmarks. Encouraged us to break the ice and learn about each other’s background with our group.
Gable is an amazing tour guide. He is so knowledgeable about points of interest on the way. He made the trip very enjoyable. Ethan, on the train, was entertaining and helpful. Be sure to try the donuts at the summit.
