Overall good, but felt a little rushed. We left Garden of the Gods suddenly after a quick loop around as Pike’s Peak opened up and the plan was to come back. We ended up not going back which was disappointing. Managua Springs was fun, but also felt short. Food options were a little confusing. Tour Guide was knowledgable. .

It was really fun. Our guy explained a lot about pikes and pig and Rocky Mountains so I can understand almost everything about this trip and it was so fun. I really recommend this.

The your went as advertised. Our guide David was knowledgeable and did mention quite a few interest pieces if information. Pikes Peak is a beautiful place to see.

Brian arranged a great day trip to Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. He provided intelligent and entertaining commentary throughout the day. I especially liked the drive through Manitou Springs and wished we'd had time to spend a few hours there. We also enjoyed the picnic lunch, and appreciated that there were only eight people in the tour group instead of dozens. Thanks!

David is amazing, he gave us a detailed tour regarding the history of Denver, gold mining, air force etc. The ride was safe and I appreciate how kind and patient he is. The bonus for me was the food and water which not everyone provides. Recommend!

Driver Cancelled the morning of trip & didn’t have opportunity to rebook with another person. Very disappointed!!!! We came day early of planned trip for pikes peak , then did not go due to poor notice from driver.

Garden of the Gods was absolutely beautiful. We saw some climbers and wildlife. Pikes Peak Is not for the faint hearted. The drive up is steep and narrow. Our driver was great!! Unfortunately it was very cloudy so there were no views to see. The drive up was beautiful though.

Our tour guide was Robert Thurber. Robert was friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience one for us to remember. You could tell Robert had done tour guiding for sometime, and knew Pikes Peak and Garden of Gods well. While coming down tge Fountain, he crushed the brake check, 91 degrees! We would highly recommend Robert and your company to anyone who comes to Denver, looking to learn about the area.

Be prepared for being at a high altitude. Great tour. Knowable driver and guide. Stay hydrated. Enjoy!

Wonderful experience. Guide was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Trip was planned perfectly. The day was full with zero down time. We had the exact amount of time allotted for each part of the trip. The lunch provided was great also.

This tour was above average, surpassing expectations. David shared a wealth of knowledge about Denver as we enjoyed the incredible views. There was just enough independent time to experience everything, take breaks, enjoy a generous and delicious lunch and take photos. My family strongly recommends this. Book it!

The scenery driving up to the pikes peak was spectacular, less windy at the summit which made the experience even more enjoyable, stunning 360 degree views. The gardens of Gods was amazing and our guide Brian explained things very clearly and we learned a lot about the history and nature.

Robert Thurber was an excellent tour guide with a vast knowledge of the area and fun anecdotal stories throughout the day! Another praise for Robert is his excellent driving skills up to Pikes Peak with 16 switchback turns!! This was our second Explorer tour and highly recommend this company!!!!

Robert was a fantastic guide, telling us tons of stories of Denver and the history of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. The provided picnic on the side of Pikes Peak was a wonderful respite. Brand new comfy vans for transportation and plenty of time to explore each area on our own, including visitor centers, gift shops and restroom breaks. 10/10!

I had an incredible experience with Explorer Tours right out of Denver! The tour took us to Pikes Peak, where the mountain views—snow-capped and breathtaking—were absolutely unforgettable. Then, we explored the Garden of the Gods, which gave us a totally different but equally stunning landscape—those iconic orange rock formations were surreal. It felt like two awe-inspiring worlds in one day. And a big shoutout to Robert, our guide—he made the whole trip even better! If you’re visiting Denver, this tour is a must!

I love that our tour started with Pikes Peak early mountain view, lunch in the mountains and Garden of the Gods w/ balancing rock ( the lunch was good prepared by our tour guide sandwich, chips and drink!) Our tour guide was Bob, He was knowledgeable, he kept us all entertained with some humor and gave history of all the sites we visited and more about colorado. Love the mascot Marty. We took bathroom breaks. Bob was a great driver, safely arrived at all destinations. I would recommend to put a timer each time on location so you’d be aware because the places are too beautiful you’d forget how fast time flies. I would highly recommend this tour to any solo or family touring Denver for a day. I would come back again next time with someone.

Absolutely a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and great sense of humor. The GoG and Pikes Peak was well worth the journey outside Denver. A must see. Of note, we went in early May so the road to the summit of Pikes Peak may be closed but we went up to 11k feet and the views were spectacular.

The tour garden of the gods and Pikes peak tour was a marvelous adventure. Mark the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, very professional. He continously asked if anyone needed water. I plan to do this tour again and want Mark as my tour guide again. It is worth the money and the time to experience this wonderful creation.

Be prepared to acclimate to the difference in elevation to 14,000 feet in a short time span. Awesome views from the summit and Mark our tour guide gave an excellent presentation on historical points of interest.
