Stefan was amazing. He is patient and passionate. He explained how mountain biking is a different experience from biking altogether . He took us on an easy trail first and then a harder one when we were able to demonstrate some prowess. Would highly recommend.

The trail was too snowy and icy for biking. Plan B was a 3 mile hike. I had a great time with Bill, talking, looking at the wildlife signs and enjoying the beauty of the Colorado mountains. Bill was kind enough to tailor the hike for some one lives at sea level.
This is my second time going on this tour. The first time was something to break up our guys trip in Denver and a alternate way to see the mountains. This time I took another friend because of the same reasons. I chose Saturday 1pm as that was enough time in case of a previous late night or if you wanted to catch an early breakfast. Our pickup was at the convention center which was a few blocks from our hotel (under the blue bear, can't miss it). Vick was our driver and guide and pointed out important places along the drive up to the mountain. I can't remember last time if I chose beginner but this time I chose intermediate. I'm in relatively good shape, but I struggled this time unlike the last time. We were given some safety and additional riding tips before we got started. Helmets, gloves, water and snack was provided. Vick was great at stopping and checking in on how we (I) was doing. The top of our climb we stopped for pictures and video, which Vick was kind enough to take since we didn't bring our phones. Going down remeber Vick will go faster or slower depending on who is second in line. The ride has enough turns and dips to give you some excitement and just enough danger to raise the adreniline. After the ride we stopped at the headquarters and had a beer at the bar connected to the office, great patrons and staff. Vick gave us a ride back and talked about any additional landscapes we may have missed. I highly recommend this tour as a great mountain tour and nice activity to break up your typical trip to Denver. I will probably do this trip any time I come to Denver.
Amazing experience from the moment we got there. Our guide Vic was awesome, worked with the 2 of us, didn’t push us, had our best interest and safety in-hand the entire 3 hours. Trail was tough and it was only a ‘green’ trail, but we rode hard, too breaks often and was an incredible experience. Can’t wait to do it again.
A lot of fun. We were just two of us that did a ride with our guide, Vic. I was struggling a bit with the altitude but Vic was very considerate and gave us some time to catch our breaths when climbing. Scenery was of course beautiful and Vic was very insightful and informative about the land and area. Very interesting. Ride was a lot of fun with nice trails. Would definitely recommend.
Great trails to ride. A bit of climbing, fast flowing sections and some snow. Vic was a great trail guide and gave us locations for great pictures.
Had wanted to try mountain biking for many years but didn’t want to spend the money on all the gear before committing. Denver Adventures was the answer. Vic was my guide. Great experience. Told Vic I wanted some instruction (technique, trail etiquette, equipment, etc.) and some experience. I absolutely got my money’s worth. Denver Adventures provided all the equipment (bike, helmet, gloves). Vic provided all the up front info, even before getting on the bike, but it wasn’t overwhelming. Just enough to get started. On the trail, he stopped frequently to cover another topic/technique, building on info already provided. Then we’d ride some more, giving me the chance to get some experience. Continued that way throughout the day. Very well done. Learned a lot, got some great experience, and left with things I can practice at home for the next time on the trail.
We really loved our guide Vic. He gave us great instruction which was very helpful since we are beginners. He was very patient and encouraging. Thank you Vic!
Great tour, Great ride, great guide. Nice break in our city trip. Great views. I missed the part which mentioned the pick up costs, but considering Uber and car rental fees in Denver, it was still a deal. Water and trail snacks was provided. Lots of breaks as needed. Bring your camera and GoPro! Take the afternoon tour if you plan on partying the night before, your not going to be at your best for the morning tour. (we booked afternoon). Well worth it for the experience. Would do it again.
Our guide was very skilled knowledgeable and professional. He was very friendly and welcoming and made sure everyone was keeping up with the group.
What a superb day. So much fun! Can’t believe just how much I learnt in just four hours. Nick was organized, professional, thorough, friendly and fun. I had a total blast. This was definitely only Day 1 of what will be a long term pleasure - I thank Nick for kicking it off in such great style. I have taken many many outdoor adventure lessons and clinics….this one tops them all. Can’t recommend Nick highly enough!
Awesome experience! Cooper was our guide and he was incredible. We had such a good time biking 12/10
We had a great experience with our booking through Denver Adventures. We had a great experience with a knowledgeable, patient and friendly mountain biking guide. Next time, we’ll book directly through Denver Adventures to simplify our confirmation process.
Tour was amazing, guides accommodated all skill levels. Made frequent stops for hydrating and breathers, due to not being used to high altitude. All guides were very knowledgeable, nice, and offered a great service. I would highly recommend using them for any service.
Had a super fun bike ride with Duane our tour guide. He was super cool and fun to talk to. We did a couple loops on a beginner trail and it was still pretty challenging. Definitely worth the experience and would absolutely do it again. Next time gonna add the zipline too.
My boyfriend and I did the half day mountain biking tour with Cooper, and it was great! We definitely worked hard, but trails were a lot of fun and Cooper did an excellent job picking trails that worked for our experience level. Cooper was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us taking breaks along the way. If you’re looking for a bit of a challenge and want to see some nice views of the area, it’s a fun option and I highly recommend.
Cooper was a great guide. He gave great advice and let us decide what we wanted to try. We got to do a short hike up to a nice overlook. He gave us breaks for water/ rest often since it was our first day at elevation.
We did the 1/2 day mountain biking tour and would totally do it again. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the area and had many recommendations for us. He allowed us to pick from the different trails and even spoiled us by taking us on a quick hike to the 3 sisters.
Excellent experience with a great tour guide, Alex. He was so patient and what a wonderful time we had mountain biking for the first Time. Thanks for the memories!
I signed up for a mountain biking group ride but was the only one who did for that particular day. The company’s owner accommodated me anyway and brought me to a beautiful ride. I had a great time as the guide discussed with me of different ride possibilities, respecting my abilities and mood.
It was a great experience and I had a really cool time with my guide. The single trails were very good and the view on the top of the hill was amazing. In 4 hours we did two different single trails.
We really enjoyed mountain biking with our guide Matt. The equipment provided was in great condition, the trails were challenging, but manageable.
2 half day trips w Matt. Elk Meadow (yes saw 2) and 3 Sisters (yes we climbed it). 4 hr trip on UTV w teenage son. Sooooooo worth the time and investment. Highly recommend. Will do it again on next trip to Denver/Lake Estes/Vail.
I had pretty high expectations when I booked this mountain biking excursion (for my brother and I), and can honestly say it by far exceeded my expectations! First the entire booking process was simple and the staff was super helpful and accommodating to us, especially since we were going to be going out on Father’s Day morning. However what made it so incredible was our tour guide, Matt, who was knowledgeable about not just the mountain biking, but the trails and history of the mountains themselves. He also allowed us to customize our experience and challenge ourselves while taking in incredible sites of the mountains. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an awesome guided mountain biking experience regardless of your skill level! Ask for Matt! Rick and Geno

A great experience for those with mountain biking experience. Leader was considerate, thoughtful, helpful. Not for the faint of heart or those who aren't in shape. Challenging mountain trails. Beautiful scenery. Very good equipment.

Guides were awesome, trails were excellent. Provided all the snacks and drinks we needed and quality bikes. Could not recommend this more. Was incredibly pleased and could have paid 2x as much for a worse experience. Thanks very much to Denver Adventures for a great ride. Best, Dan

Our guide did a great job of fitting us to the right level for our mountain bike ride!

It was quite exciting!! The views were spectacular. The ride was a very good workout and well worth the money. I was a little hesitant with some of the paths, but Gary, our guide, eased all my concerns. He is a very good instructor. His knowledge of the history of the area added to the enjoyment of the tour. He show me how to maneuver the roots, rocks and water boards. Going down a water board was fun. I felt like I was on Xtreme Sports. I would definitely do this tour again.

We chose the 'beginner' mountain biking guided tour. Our guide took us to the Flying J Ranch outside of Golden, CO. He was very thorough and patient with teaching us how to maneuver the turns and obstacles. If you are interested in more of a mountain biking course, or lessons, this is a great tour. They will also customize if you're more experienced.

Aaron our guide was AWESOME and it was an awesome trip. I'd definitely do it again and highly recommend this to anyone who likes being outside!!!!

Erin, the mountain biking guide was phenomenal! Very friendly and knowledgable about mountain biking!
