Garden Of The Gods Segway Tour Through Juniper Loop

OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE!!!! I’ve wanted to do a Segway ride the first time I saw the unit. Nathan (aka Tornado) was AWESOME!!!! I was a bit concerned about driving this unit for I was never good on a skateboard, scooter, etc. as a kid. Nathan did a great job of allaying my fears. I was very comfortable driving/riding the Segway within 10 minutes! Nathan did a great job leading us on the tour and was very well informed about the history and sites at Garden of the Gods. If you’ve ever wanted to do a Segway, do it here! Life is short - YOLO! Thanks, Nathan.

It is a lot of fun. Our guide ‘Bobcat’ was from my home town and was extremely informative and made sure everyone was comfortable on the Segway. Plenty of stops in order to take pictures and discuss various rock formations.

Great experience, highly recommend. A fun way to see such a beautiful place. Or tour guide was very fun, kind and knowledgeable. The Segways were very easy to learn with the guides instructions. The garden of the gods was stunning and glad we took the time to see it. We had a great time!

I’ve been to Garden of the Gods before but wanted to do it again with a friend. The Segway was a perfect way to do it. Mohawk was an amazing guide and knowledgeable about formations and local info. It was fun to roll around and soak in the Colorado beauty. She gave clear and precise instructions, especially when I was trying to slow down and my legs weren’t listening to me!! Fun tour and would do it again in a heartbeat!!

Very nice good guide but only 1 hour long. It was short did see balance rock and some other rock formations.

Ok, so the tour itself was in my opinion the very best way to get your first taste of the Garden. It was fun, we tried something new, it was better than other modes of transportation, and we got to see everything fairly intimately. However, none of that could have happened without the AoW team. Long story short, this was our first time to Colorado and this tour was the literal first thing on our agenda after getting off the plane. We had built in several hours of wiggle room just in case but lo and behold, several flight delays occurred which compromised our start time of 2pm (the latest available option). I contacted the AoW team via phone in a panic when I started realizing that we probably were not going to make it and spoke with Baxter who calmly assured me that he'd reach out to the guide and would work it out as best he could and to get back with him once we we got on the plane, which I did. I also told him that I understood the policy and not to hold up any other guests. If we missed out, it's definitely not the AoW team's fault. As soon as we landed, I sent him an email letting him know we were en route. He responded quickly and again reassured me that it would be alright. After arriving VERY late, thirsty, complete with airport gear on, we melt Keltie who was patiently awaiting our arrival. It was a warm, sunny day and I am white as a ghost...and that's when I realized I didn't bring my sunscreen and would begin my two week trip with a nasty sunburn. No fear, Keltie was prepared, let me use her sun screen, handed us some water, and off we went on our late, private tour. My hat is off to the AoW team and especially to Baxter and Keltie who held that entire experience to together for us. It really meant a lot to both of us.

The best way to see The Garden of the Gods in my opinion. Our guide was simply great and we loved it!

Fun for all ages! I would highly recommend! Family of five with three generations and we all loved it.

What an amazing tour. We had so much fun and I wish it were longer on the Segways. Loved our guide. YOLO!!! Just do it!!! This Segway tour was informational but lots of fun!!! Now I’m going home and buying 2 Segways!!!

First time on a Segway. Chris was wonderful and a great teacher. Chris shared the history and what the different formations of the rocks were.

It was fun but too short. We only got to ride for an hour. I would have liked to ride for the full 1.5 hrs as stated in the reservation. Our guide was knowledgable of the area.

Our tour guide was great, the length of the tour was great, and overall well worth it. Highly recommend! Recommend the early morning during the summer so it's cool.

Great time! Enjoyed our guide, Bobcat, very patient and knowledgeable..... should be a photographer as a side business - he did great taking any and all pictures of us along the way. Tip - be sure to visit the downstairs of the visitor center to check in (don't remember seeing this as part of the instructions.) We are not small people, but felt very secure and confident on the segways. Overall great experience!

My husband and I are in our 50’s and 60’s and we had never been on a Segway before. Isaac did a great job making sure we were comfortable riding before we started our tour. Super fun to ride. Isaac made sure all went smooth and educated us on this beautiful park. Cool way to see Garden of the Gods for sure!

It was a great family experience we had a blast! Franz our guide was the best! He knew the history of the Garden of the Gods and it was breathtaking! Dress comfortable and bring a camera and water, you are going to want to get pictures during the stops along the way. Thank you Franz for making this a memorable tour for this family from Dallas 👍🏼

My 21 yo daughter and I had just a few hours to spend together so we decided to book the Garden of the gods Segway tour. Nathan was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, the science behind the rock formations and the local folklore. He was very patient as we were learning how to operate the Segways. He has a very chill personality which was the perfect fit for us. We recommend this tour- it’s a great way to see this beautiful landmark if you don’t have hours to spend!

The Segway tour was really fun. Kelty, our guide, was very sweet and patient as we learned to use a Segway for the first time. She even helped us get on and off if we felt we needed extra reinforcement. The Segways are a really fun way to see beautiful Garden of the Gods! If I had any complaint at all it would be that I wished we could have ridden faster, but it is understandable that we didn't since there are so many pedestrians on the trail. I would recommend the tour!

We had a great tour through part of Garden of the Gods. Our tour guide was very helpful with the Segways and extremely knowledgeable about the various rock formations.

For our recent trip to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, we decided we wanted to do something a little different so we pre-booked a Segway guided tour with Adventures Out West. We were not disappointed. If you want to experience this amazing display of natural wonders up close and personal, but aren't up for a hike r bike, this is a wonderful way to do it. Full disclosure - we are a pair of "seniors" one of us more active than the other, but neither with any experience on a Segway. After meeting our guide, Kris - aka "Mohawk" - and filling out the waiver and selecting our helmets, we embarked on our training in the parking lot of the GOG visitor center. Kris was an excellent teacher! She reviewed and demonstrated all the basics of Segway operation before we ever stepped on and then had us try them out one at a time. She was patient and encouraging and very safety focused. I would say we spent maybe 15 minutes getting accustomed to the Segway and comfortable with our ability to operate it. Before we started on our tour she told us what to expect once we were "on the road" and verified that we felt comfortable with the operation of the Segway. Then we were off! We did the general loop through the GOG on a mixture of paved pathway and straddling the generous bike lane on the road. Kris constantly monitored our progress and safe "driving" and effectively managed any road crossings that were needed. As a native plant enthusiast, I was so impressed with her knowledge of the local plantlife! Her knowledge of the history of how GOG came to be preserved as a natural space and ultimately gifted to the city of Colorado Springs was impressive, as was her knowledge of history, geology and mythology of the amazing rock formations. The pacing of the tour was pleasant and at no time did we feel rushed or pressured to move on if we weren't ready. It was a really fun, enjoyable and educational experience and we were so glad we did it! A couple of extra notes - if you go in the summertime - or maybe even early autumn - respect the intensity of the Colorado sun and go prepared with sunscreen and water (although Kris also brought along extra water if we needed it.) Also, I just wanted to add that all of the Adventures Out West Staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Finally, if you plan to go during what is typically a busy season, pre-book. We did this through Trip Advisor, but the great thing was AOW gave us until the day before our tour to cancel and didn't charge our card until that time. They also sent us several reminder emails and I appreciated their flexibility and diligence.

We had a great time! We enjoyed riding segways! Our guide was great at instruction and she made our ride easy to learn! We loved Garden of the Gods! The guide let us explore different stops and take pictures! We truly enjoyed this outing! We i Lu had a few hours to explore! We couldn’t have see so much on our own walking! I think our guides name was Carrie? Please let her know how much we appreciated our tour!!

My family, including three teens/young adults loved this tour! It was a very fun experience, and we would definitely do it again when in the area.

My husband and I were in Denver for a family event and had some time to explore the area on our own. We’ve done Segway tours in other states and always enjoy the fun of riding them. Having a knowledgeable tour guide adds a great bonus — it really helps you connect with the area on a deeper level. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Garden of the Gods. There was another couple in our group who were locals, and even they mentioned learning new things from the guide, which says a lot! I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and engaging way to explore and learn. We also felt very safe throughout the tour — traffic was respectful, and the guide made sure everyone was comfortable and confident on their Segway before setting out. The machines were in excellent condition, and the overall experience was well-organized and enjoyable.

Our host, “Bobcat”, was professional and helpful. He carefully trained all of us on the Segway and made sure everyone was comfortable before we left. You could tell he cared about our safety during the training and that continued through the entire tour - he was always looking out for us. The tour itself was informational and fun. Bobcat knew a lot about the park and made stops along the way to show us all the things the park had to offer. The pace was good too. Overall, it was a really fun, enjoyable and educational tour that we would recommend to anyone. Thanks Bobcat!

We had a great tour with Chris (Mohawk), she was very friendly and funny, and took lovely photos of us throughout! The segways were very fun and we felt very comfortable.

It's rare when a place is breathtakingly beautiful, and also be shown this place by a beautiful kind soul who is in love with nature. That is what happened with Segway Tour with Axeman. Not only he was so patient with showing me how to ride a Segway and I was scarred and shaking at first, and I didn't want to come off at the end. He also took his time to show me how much love he has for Garden of the Gods. From the deer tracks, to mountain sage, from how the land formed to the history of preserving the land from wind erosion. Taking photos and videos, and I just had the best time. I can't wait to go back and visit to and do the Jeep and bike tour from Pikes Peak. Axeman we will meet again!! -Wenyi

Our Segway tour was wonderful and Axe-man was fantastic with us 4 old ladies! He took time to make sure we could handle the segways and then had great information about Garden of the Gods. We thoroughly enjoyed our time

Did the Segway tour on 9/28/24 with "Mohawk".  Very fun and knowledgeable guide.  The tour is about 2 hours long and covers most of the rock formations in the park.  Awesome tour.  Well worth the price!

Having never ridden a Segway before, i was curious if this was the best way to see The Garden of the Gods. It was!! Nathan, the guide, was kind and made it really easy! This is a personal and interactive way to enjoy the absolute beauty of this amazing area. This is a must do!!!

Nathan was an outstanding he was extremely knowledgeable about the area. He really took his time and made us feel at ease since this was our first time using a Segway.

We surprised the kids (all teenagers) with a Segway tour through garden of the gods, they were thrilled! It was fun to do something new and different. We got to see all angles of the rock formations and learn a bit of the history and other information about the formations. Loved it!

Amazing and unique experience! Went with our family of 4. Age ranges 17-54 and also had another in our group who was in early to mid 60’s. Super fun and easy to navigate after our brief lesson. Our guide was very informative, professional, and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! A bit pricey, but worth it.

This trip was excellent!!! Allen was a great guide and the sights were truly incredible. The exact reason I come to Colorado. The segways were so fun I want one now lol. Just be sure to wear sunscreen and bring a decent amount of water.

Bobcat was excellent!! He was so careful in training the 2 members of our group who had never been on a Segway. He was super knowledgeable and stopped for excellent photo ops! Definitely request Bobcat for your next Segway adventure! A++!!

Such a fun way to see Garden of the Gods. Our tour guide Zoom took lots of fun photos of us. We felt safe and well cared for as first time Segway users.

We did the Garden of the Gods Segway tour this morning. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I have no experience with segways. I knew my teenage boys would pick it up very quickly (and they did!), but my husband and I did, too. We all had a great time. Our tour guide, Bobcat, was very knowledgeable of the area and a great coach for learning how to ride the segways. I highly recommend this tour to families with teenagers as a fun, different way to see this beautiful site.

We had a great time with Marshall! It was cold, damp and expecting snow and we were called the day before to see if we were still interested. We absolutely were and so glad we did. Marshall was patient when teaching me how to use the segway - I am almost 70 y/o - and off we went. At one point it started getting colder and damper and we were offered the option to continue, stop and be refunded, or switch to a jeep tour. We went with the jeep tour and loved it. Preacher was a great guide in the jeep and we saw things we wouldn't have seen otherwise. We highly recommend both types of tours and this company.

The Segway tour through Garden of the Gods was amazing. Easy to learn how to use them. The views were spectacular while riding through the park. The tour guide did a great job giving us plenty of knowledge about the area but no overdoing the narration. I highly recommend this adventure.

We were nervous about signing up for this event, but we are so glad we did! It was so much fun and nothing to be nervous about. We had never ridden a Segway before, but the event started with a lesson on how to ride with all the safety information as well. Our tour guide was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable about both Segway riding and Garden of The Gods.

Zack was a blast - very informative and made our Segway Tour a great experience! Would suggest the option as a great way to get introduced to Garden of the Gods!
