Ebike Tour: Garden Of The Gods

*This review is NOT for the tour, this was for the rental of the e bikes only* We rented 3 e-bikes for 2 hours on a week day at Garden of the Gods. (not a tour, just rented the bikes) They are pretty efficient and thorough, although it feels like you are renting a house with all the waivers and detailed info they want and signing your life away. Everyone is very friendly. We dealt with Keith and Will. Bikes are fine. Good condition. The G of the G is a lovely place. What we didn’t appreciate was the push for tipping the guy who explained the rules and got us set up - not a tour guide, mind you. We are spending nearly $250 for 3 people for just 2 hours (of us biking on our own) and you want us to tip the guy who does our required safety and information orientation? Come on. The other thing that really bugged me is that right in their own rental waiver it says they RECOMMEND helmets. Not REQUIRE. I read it several times bc we hate helmets especially when it is very hot out. It was something I made sure of when booking. But we get there and he tells us it’s required for insurance? That is NOT what your waiver says! Read your own waiver, please!! Not cool.

Beautiful scenery with easy riding on the e-bike. Kate was a fantastic guide full of knowledge and emphasis on safety. We are novice riders and had no issues.

Seth did a great job of briefing me on the trip and explaining the history and geology of the area. Ebike made the tour fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend.

I was the only person who booked and Nick took me on a solo guide of the gardens on the e-bike. It was an incredible experience and beautiful way to see the gardens.

Garden of the Gods was a beautiful place to see, however the tour itself was mediocre at best. For $250/ea, we expected a guide with more e-bike experience. Although Michael was very friendly, and thoroughly went through the rules/snacks/water speech at the shop, when we got to the park, it was a different story. When we first entered, Michael had us make a very sharp right hand turn, going uphill, when there was a ton of the traffic. This caused my friend to take a nasty fall and scratch up her shin pretty badly. A more experienced guide would have told us to get off our bikes and walk the sudden incline/aggressive drivers in traffic. Unfortunately for my friend, when she was trying to make the turn, an aggressive driver zoomed past her which caused her to fall. Michael took a picture of the license plate of the driver, however it was partly his fault that he had us try to maneuver such a wild move. Also, when it was time for first aid, his dressings in his pack were old and the ointment packs were open/old. He finally found an alcohol pad and unopened ointment - but these things should be checked regularly at the shop. Maybe this is a good lessons learned for the shop, to educate the guides a bit more and ensure their first aid packs are fully stocked with items. We got a little history on the tour, but not a ton. For $250/person, we expected a lot more, and will be calling the shop for some type of reimbursement.

We went on Monday so crowds were less. A very fun and relaxing way to see much of the park. It was not strenuous at all, just pay attention. We are 75 and 72. Would do it again. Also enjoyed seeing some of the local neighborhoods on the return

We loved Ty and Quinten! They made our trip so much fun. They kept us safe and were knowledgeable about all the sites at The Garden of The Gods! E-bikes rock!!!

Ty was an outstanding guide on our biking adventure. He included history and local facts in an engaging way, and was also quite funny. Bonus: he’s a great photographer and took so many great pictures of us as a couple and of the scenery throughout our ride. Highly recommend this bike tour- it’s worth the price and you’ll definitely have fun :)

This is a great way to experience unobstructed view of Gardens of the Gods Park. Our tour guide, Ty was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and in his side role as tour photographer, made sure we had tons of pics of this memorable experience!

He was very knowledgeable, gave us lots of great information, took us to the best spots, & took awesome pictures for us! He was also a blast! I can’t imagine a better way to see The Garden of the Gods! We’ll definitely use this tour company again & request Ty!

Ty G was our guide and he was awesome! He made our mother daughter e-bike tour of the Garden of the Gods a memorable experience with the perfect amount of laughter and learning! He made sure we had all the best pictures with all the angles and sat on top of the rock with us when we needed a break. Nice ride with Nicole. Did this with my 11 yr old grandson and was loads of fun- just the right amount of biking and looking at the views- great way to see the Garden of the Gods.

The E-bike tour of Garden of the Gods was wonderful. Quinton was an amazing tour guide. He went at a pace that was good for the entire group and stopped at several places for great photos. I went solo and met a nice couple on the tour. It was so much fun! I would highly recommend this tour!

This was a great way to see Garden of the Gods. The bikes allowed you to take it easy or make it a workout. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

Could not have asked for a better experience! Our guide Ty was knowledgeable and personable and e enjoyed his company. He took lots of pictures for us and showed us all the highlights of the park. Great fun. My only concern is the cost…it seems a bit expensive relative to other choices of experiences.

Great tour with Ty. We basically had a private tour and Ty was the perfect guide. We got to see so many beautiful things in Garden of the Gods and take lots of photos. We learned a lot from Ty and never felt rushed during the tour. Definitely a great way to experience Garden of the Gods.

This is the second time we've done this tour. We had a great time even though Dillon ordered up a down pour on us 😉. We had a big laugh about it, and definitely made it memorable. Dillon provided ponchos for everyone that wanted one, and we still managed to finish the tour when the rain passed.

I was very happy exploring the Garden of the Gods. I booked this solo, and only one couple was on the tour with me. Our guide Ty was very fun, informative, and took great photos for us. We unfortunately had to ride through rain at the beginning of the tour, but it cleared up quickly and didn't ruin my experience.

Super fun tour of Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods. High quality bikes. Highly recommend Drew and Pete. Nice people who go out of their way to show your family a good time. Loved riding around town drinking the spring water.

Great way to visit Garden of the Gods! And e-biking is so much fun. We planned this during a visit from the east coast, but the couple on the tour were Denver natives but had never been to Garden of the Gods and they thoroughly enjoyed as well! Thank you to our guide Quinton!

Ty our guide was awesome! Very enthusiastic despite riding mostly in a cold rain. Beautifully scenery.

The day was beautiful; Marcel, the guide, awesome! We were having so much fun that the tour was over before we knew it. The e-bikes were easy to use and Marcel was a great instructor. The red rock 'statues' and 'monuments' were incredible. We learned about the park and the area and shared lots of laughs. Vehicular traffic was respectful of the bikes. I'd do this tour again and again!

What a wonderful way to see the majestic Garden of the Gods. Kate was a superb tour guide from showing us how to maneuver the e-bikes, sharing many historical facts and even taking photos for us. The E bikes were easy to use for our varied athletic level in the group. We enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend!

From the moment we were greeted at the door to the moment we said goodbye, we thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Our guide, Ty, was incredibly friendly, upbeat, funny, informative, and helpful every step of the way. My youngest was initially having trouble with the bike (he hadn't ridden in quite some time), but Ty and another employee at Pikes Peak Bike Tours were very patient & helpful with him, coming up with some exercises on the fly to help him gain more control and confidence and encouraging him the whole time. He ended up doing just fine. Ty even took tons of photos for us throughout the tour so we didn't have to do them all ourselves. The e-bike I think was perfect for this ride, as it was pretty simple to use, and it basically multiplies the power you're exerting on the pedal, meaning even some of those uphill stretches really weren't a big deal at all. Even those in terrible shape like me could do this! Two years ago we toured the Garden of the Gods on horseback. Both experiences were excellent and unique in their own way. I personally think I liked this one just a bit better because we were able to see more of the Garden while also being able to stop along the way to take pictures, take short hikes, climb on rocks, and really enjoy the scenery. We also were able to stop at the trading post on the way back and pick up the obligatory souvenirs. Our rears were a bit sore after the 3-hour ride (maybe some softer seat cushions could help?), but we had the same thing happen after the 3-hour horseback tour, too. Even so, this was one of my favorite activities out of the 10 or so we had packed into our week in CO Springs. I would highly recommend this tour and will definitely look into doing it again next time we're in CO Springs!

Very nice up close way to see the Garden of the Gods. Guide helpful and ebike worked for two moderately in shape 70 year old couples.

We had a great tour with Ty. The bikes were perfect and he took the time to tell us what was going on and great history about the Garden of the Gods. Great lunch recommendation too Ivy wild Kitchen was great.

Andy was such a great tour guide! Information was interesting and he also made sure we were safe! We were able to bypass all the cars waiting in line and to park. We felt like VIP’s able to cruise right along! So fun!! Thanks Andy for a wonderful memory!

We did a tour with Marcel in May. It was fantastic! Marcel is very knowledgeable about the Garden of the Gods and the area in general. It was like taking a bike ride with your buddy. Easy booking, easy check in, and super friendly staff. Marcel gave us some great recommendations for food too. 10/10 would recommend (and ask for Marcel!)

What a fun trip! It is as our first time on Ebikes, and they are super fun! This is a good way to see The Garden of the Gods without you he hassles of parking. It also gives you a fun alternative to hiking. Our tour guide, Ty, was fun and informative. All in all, I highly recommend this tour!

Ty was a phenomenal tour guide! He was upbeat, informative, quick to help if needed, observant, and a can-do attitude! My boyfriend and I are celebrating our anniversary so we decided to do something a little different which was this. We are definitely sore to say the least. It was such a beautiful way to experience nature’s beauty within the park. Plus, we didn’t drive a car so we didn’t have to stop or wait for parking. It wasn’t crowded as much as I thought it would be. It was such a pretty day to be out and about. The kissing camels and the turtle with the frog were probably my favorite parts. Ty had extra water in case we needed more. Also, Ty takes tons of pictures of you and whoever you are with! He will send them all over at the end of the trip. He takes great photos so don’t worry! The trip goes by much faster than we thought it would. The trading post is also extremely beautiful inside and right out back. We will be making a trip back there before we head home. Overall a wonderful experience to enjoy.

We had the most amazing experience with Everett, our e-bike tour guide from Pikes Peak Bike Tours. Everett stepped in quickly to save the day after we missed our originally scheduled group tour. Everett was extremely knowledgeable, personable and hospitable. He made sure we felt comfortable on our bikes before we started and was very conscious of our safety while still allowing us to explore and enjoy. He guided us on breathtaking tour thru the Garden of the Gods, making stops along the way to educate us on all the beauty and history that surrounded us. Truly a memory maker for us and we are so appreciative of his service and his hospitality!

My husband and I were passing through Colorado Springs on a road trip. We stopped for the day and wanted to get outdoors. I found this tour and it was exactly what we were looking for! It was our first time on E-Bikes and our excellent guide, Michael, made sure we knew how to work them. He took us on bike paths and quieter streets to get to the Garden of the Gods, not far from the bike shop. He took us to the Trading Post, which was such an interesting place, we went back later for lunch. Going through the Garden of the Gods itself was spectacular. Being on a bike made you feel more a part of it and was a relaxing way to see everything. Michael let us have plenty of time to park the bikes and walk around a bit. It was well paced and left us feeling like we saw it all. Michael was a great guide and I would do this tour again if I was ever back there! It's fun!
