Cocktails & Tacos Tour In Colorado Springs

Jason, our tour guide was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the art around city and the history points. He also knew a lot about the restaurants that we went to. The food portions at each restaurant were perfect and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Beth. She met us at our hotel which made it very easy on these 9 travelling women who had just arrived at our temporary home an hour before our meeting time. We had been flying and in airports since early that morning and then drove a 15 passenger van in from Denver. We were ready to kick off our 4 day Colorado Springs adventure with a bang and this tour did that. It was a lovely evening for a walk and Beth was very knowledgeable about the area and the history she gave us before leaving on the tour. We are loud and inquisitive and Beth handled all of our questions and comments like a champ. Each stop served a wonderful dish and the drinks were refreshing and tasty. Several of our group changed from alcohol to mocktails at our first location and Beth did a great job making those changes for each of our subsequent stops. We had an absolute blast at TByrd's, especially when we found out the owner was from a small town in Louisiana with connections to one of our closest friends. We were given a tour of the coffee shop and the Speakeasy and could have lingered for much longer in this wonderfully appointed space. Beth and the three locations were extremely accommodating as we took longer at each of the stops and got off the perfectly timed schedule while we literally drank in the local flavor. We had a lovely and informative walk back to our hotel and all agreed that our first night in Colorado Springs was a success.

Our guide, Jason gave us a great tour of downtown Colorado Springs. We had a sort of private tour since it was just my husband and I and our 2 friends. Despite us all being locals, he showed us lots of unique and new experiences/history. Starting on the south end of Tejon we went to 3 different restaurants for cocktails & tacos. It was really great checking out new-to-us places and getting some great bites along the way. One restaurant even had their owner on site and she gave us a tour of her 3 different places on the block. The tour gave us perspective on all the great updates and additions to downtown. We even stayed out later, spending time other gathering spots.

Beth was a wonderful guide! She made sure all of our food accommodations were met. She was very knowledgeable.

Beth was a great guide! She navigated us around downtown Colorado Springs pointing out the local landmarks, art and history. The stories about the city founders and their influences were interesting. As for the Tacos and tequila theme, it was spot on - we enjoyed all 3 restaurants! Each was distinct in their own way, and all the tacos and margaritas were excellent and unique! Beth made a special point of pointing out 2 birthdays in the group that resulted in tequila shots! The tour is definitely worth doing - was a great way to learn Colorado Sprints history, enjoy visiting with the other participants, and have plenty of food and drink for dinner - fun outing!

Highly recommend this tour! Kathy was a great guide and the tacos and cocktails were all different and tasty. This is a great tour to do with out of town guests, and it did not repeat any of the places on the Original Food Tour (we did that one a couple of days before). I live in Colorado Springs, but don't go walking around downtown that often. This tour is a great excuse to go out early on a Friday evening, then you're conveniently downtown to do other activities afterwards.

Beth was very knowledgeable and fun. She really knew everyone on our tour and you can tell that she goes the extra mile with her tours. She even helped us find a dog sitter after since we are traveling with our dog and need someone to help us with him while we go hiking. Five star experience!

We booked the Tacos and cocktails tour and had Jason as our guide. He was fantastic-full of interesting facts about downtown Colorado Springs and he had a great sense of humor. The food and tacos were awesome. We had a blast-thank you!

Uh-mazing! I cannot recommend Rocky Mountain Food Tours enough. I chose the Cocktails & Canapes walking tour. Our guide was Beth & not only was she knowledgeable about the history of Colorado Springs, but she was just FUN. We learned, we ate, we drank & we laughed. I left feeling like I'd made new friends & I'm so glad I did this tour. Thank you Beth!!

Had an absolute blast on the Cocktails and Canapés tour! We did the original classic food tour about 7 years ago and was excited to find they had some new tour options when looking for things to do for my birthday. It’s a great way to get a little taste of so many cool restaurants and bars downtown that would normally take me years to visit them all. The drinks and food were really solid at each location, Adam was a top notch host with a lot of great storytelling regarding the history of CoS, and we were fortunate to be on the tour with a superb group from the UK and had an absolutely lovely time getting to know them. Also, for someone who was turning 39, I appreciated the timing and being able to be in bed before 10 pm haha.

Had such a fun time with Adam on the tour!! We learned fun facts and had great food and drinks. Never would have found these places without the tour. Highly suggest booking for locals and visitors.

This was a great experience and our tour guide was fun. We enjoyed every minute and wished it was a little longer since there was so much great tasting food and drink. We plan on doing this again next year.

This was a wonderful tour! Adam, our tour guide, did a fabulous job of giving us the history of Colorado as well as history of the places we stopped at. There was a wonderful mixture of different drinks and snacks to eat. Highly recommend!

Every place we went was unique. Every drink fantastic all with small bites so you can decided where to go for the evening once the tour has ended

We had such a wonderful time! Beth was our tour guide and she was absolutely amazing. She told us all about the history of the places we visited, in addition to the history of the city. She was so personable we felt like we were best friends when it was over! Loved the cocktails. We had a person in our party who was gluten-free and they were able to change to accommodate her! The food was just OK. We loved the Arancini and the peppers. The dumplings were adequate but nothing special. And the last place gave us each one mini macaron. For an $85 cocktail and bites tour, I was hoping for something a little more refined.

Adam was great! Loved learning the history of my city. We went to eleven 18 , met the chef! Went to Bar 33, District 11 and Bloom. What a great local experience 👏 you have to try the Midnight Dream at Bloom! Will definitely go on a tour again!

The tour guide Beth was over bearing and just refused to stop talking about non tour related topics so we could not enjoy our time as our own group. Drinks at each location were wonderful and the food pairing really elevated the whole experience and paired well with each cocktail. However the tour itself lacked time to enjoy with each other due to the guide. Would love to try again with a different guide.

Great tour, constantly impressed by Brother Luck and Bloom, Beth was very knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time!

We really liked our tour guide, Jason, he was great. We learned a lot and would go back to two of the locations. The drinks at every stop were very good, but the snacks at two of the locations were sub par (one spot gave us beer nuts cause they don’t serve food). If you think of it as a cocktails only tour with a fun guide you’ll be pleased.
