Let's explore the delicious side of downtown Colorado Springs! Not only will your tour feature 4-5 unique culinary destinations, but you will also learn about our fascinating history along the way. Plus, downtown is a Certified Creative District, which means that there are more than 300 works on art on display! Don't forget to ask questions - we love an interactive group!
The Antlers Hotel is a historic hotel originally built for by William Jackson Palmer, our city's founder, in 1873. Here, we'll talk about the beginnings of Colorado Springs and the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad that passed through.
The first craft brewing in Colorado Springs, Phantom Canyon boasts hearty fare, billiards, and spectacular rooftop views. Located inside the historic Cheyenne Building.
Originally the county courthouse built in 1903, the Pioneers Museum is architectural marvel and Wild West artifact treasure chest. We'll talk about the building itself as well as some of the local art pieces located in the park surrounding it.
Jack Quinn's Irish Pub is one of the most popular restaurants in downtown Colorado Springs and has been open since March 17, 1998. Serving homemade Irish fare in a space that feels like you're in a real pub in Ireland, Jack Quinn's welcomes everyone near and far with beer, grog, and delicious food.
AdAmAn Alley is a multi-sensory art installation commemorating 100 years of the AdAmAn Club, which ascends Pikes Peak every New Year's Eve to set off fireworks over the city.
The Mining Exchange Hotel, founded by Winfield Scott Stratton, was originally the largest gold and silver stock exchange in the county. We'll talk about the gold rush and the largest mine to have ever been found in Colorado, the Independence Load.
We'll visit the only lemonade tap house in the nation featuring handcrafted, organic cane sugar and fresh lemons. Tour guests will enjoy a 10% discount!
Acacia Park is at the heart of Downtown Colorado Springs and is one of the oldest parks in the city. We'll talk about the public art, the historic band stand, and musical fountain on our way to the next culinary destination. Don't forget to ask your tour guide about some of the nearby boutique shopping!
Celebrity Chef Brother Luck has two restaurants in downtown Colorado Springs, and your tour may feature one of them! Four by Brother Luck is southwest inspired fare featuring local ingredients and farm fresh produce. We'll try a dish that Chef Luck served on Season 16 of Top Chef.
While we won't get to actually ascend the the mountain on our tour, we will talk about this magnificent natural wonder of the United States. With Pikes Peak looming over the buildings of downtown Colorado Springs, we'll talk about how it was named, world-renown events happening there every year, and of course the famous food you can get at the top.
Josh and John's has been serving their delicious "mountain churn" ice cream in downtown Colorado Springs since 1986! We'll try the "Purple Mountain Majesty," which is the flavor they created in honor of the 100-year anniversary of the Pikes Peak Hillclimb. This location is hugely popular with the locals, but you'll get to skip the line with the food tour!

We had a great time with Kathy! She is very knowledgeable about the Colorado Springs area. Lots of stops on our way to each restaurant and a history lesson at each place. The food was great at each location. Definitely a great way to learn about the place you are visiting.
My wife and I have taken several food tours on our travels. This was, hands down, the best we've experienced. Our guide, Beth, was amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about Colorado Springs. The restaurants and food items on the tour were wonderful. I highly recommend this tour!
It was a great tour! The food was delicious, and things I probably wouldn’t have ordered but loved! Especially the loaded fried at Phantom Canyon Brewery.

Great tour! Loved the variety of food!
What a beautiful day in Colorado Springs to enjoy our Rocky Mountain Food Tour!!! Every moment of the tour was superb, start to finish. Food: super delicious! The cost and length of the tour was perfect! We had a great time with our excellent tour guide, Jason... Such a nice guy!!! My husband and I highly recommend this tour. Distance and walking conditions are very doable; just be sure to wear your walking shoes.
Beth was excellent, combining fascinating history with interesting anecdotes, and helping us learn all about the food and the establishments we visited. The food was also outstanding, and we were hard-pressed to choose just one favorite. Loved the tempura jalapeno poppers (from a recently Michelin recommended restaurant!) and the blackberry-basil limeade. Overall a great experience.
Everything was top notch. We really enjoyed Beth, our guide. Got to meet Brother Luck at IV. Such a great afternoon with great people! Highly recommend!
We had the most wonderful time! The food was very good at all the stops. Our tour guide, Behr was phenomenal and really added to the experience. He gave a lot of history of the buildings and how the town was founded. Highly recommend.
Beth was our guide and we had a great experience.
Behr, our guide, was fantastic! We had a great time at the various restaurants, and the tasting portions fill you up. We also really enjoyed learning Colorado Springs history and touring the art installations in the downtown area. I had two international visitors with me and they absolutely loved the tour. Behr did a wonderful job, and we were lucky to have him as our guide for our tour in Manitou Springs the following day. These tours are a great activity to do with out of town guests. Highly recommend!
Wonderful Tour & food with our guide Kathy. We got a better understanding of Colorado food & history. Kathy was very knowledgeable in all areas of our tour! We’ll definitely be back!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Kathy was a wonderful host. It was like having a personal tour

So fun, definitely a great way to get history and try different food venues
We had a wonderful tour with Beth! She was very communicative, knowledgeable, friendly, funny and really knows her people and they know her! The food options were all unique and completely different, but we really loved everything we got to try! We would highly recommend the Colorado Springs tour through Rocky Mountain Food Tours. Top notch!!
Jason was a great guide. All food and drinks were excellent. Even though we live 25 miles north of the Springs, we learned a lot of interesting and fun facts about the city. We plan to sign up our visiting family and friends when they come to town.
Wonderful time on this tour. Highly recommend this tour. Jason was wonderful - very knowledgeable and helpful. The information we got about the history, the art, and the food in Colorado Springs was incredible!!!!
Beth was a fun guide. Knowledgeable of Colorado Springs history and food locations we toured. A fun afternoon adventure we would recommend to locals and out of state guests.
The walk and number of restaurants/shops included were ideal. I he good at each was fantastic. I appreciated the information that our guide, Beth, provided about the history of Colorado Springs and the area. This is a great way for anyone looking to get a better understanding of the area, the restaurants and the scenes. I will now make it a point to do these tours when we go explore new cities. Well worth it!
Beth was awesome! Had a great tour!
The guide (Jason) was very friendly and talkative! He was great! All the food was great too!
Had a great tour with Jason! He was great.
Had 5 stops with great variety of local fare. The pace was leisurely so you can take the area without feeling rushed. All of the sampling were delicious and you could add on a liquor package for $21 to pair with the food in three places. Our guide Samantha was incredibly informative, but also responsive to group question. Great way to see what Colorado Springs has to offer to both locals and visitors.
Beth was great very knowledgeable and good food and drinks
We really enjoyed the tour. All of the food was great, but the best part to me was hearing about the founders of Colorado Springs and seeing all of the Street Art. Adam was a host welcoming us to his home, not just a tour guide. I highly recommend this tour early in your stay because you will hear other visitors’ experiences and plans while in town.
My husband and I enjoyed the Manitou Springs Food tour. We did it our last day there and wished we would have done it first thing. The tour guide (Behr) shared history and we sampled various mineral waters. There were four business stops and enjoyed learning more about the local life. This was enjoyable and informative.
My wife and I did the Colorado Springs food tour led by Behr yesterday. It was great! We are former residents, back for a visit, and we still learned a ton of historical info from Behr. And the food and drinks, at five stops, were very tasty. And what a nice way to finish, with local ice cream! Behr really made the tour come alive, with interesting history facts and fun anecdotes. Great experience!
Cost more for drink samples. The tour was fine, History telling was the best part. Did not enjoy the Pride Festival going on downtown at the same time.
Kathy really made this a 5 star experience. She was incredibly informative and gave us a very interesting history of Colorado Springs. The food was great too.
Behr was an excellent tour guide. He was friendly and pleasant, and really knows the history of the town. All the food was delicious too.
Absolutely wonderful, even better than expected. Our guide Beth made the entire day so fun and interesting. Beth was very knowledgeable on the history of downtown, and had a lot of fun facts. It was worth every penny. Tour was perfect length of 2 1/2 hrs. I would do this tour again and hope to have Beth as my guide.
Wonderful food and guide, Beth was very knowledgeable on the area and history of the buildings. I would definitely recommend. I was very full at the end of the tour! Plenty of food and a nice walk around the area.
Exploring Colorado Springs is a delightful adventure, especially when you embark on a food tour with Rocky Mountain Food Tour company. Our day was a perfect blend of culinary delights, vibrant art, and fascinating history, all guided by the enthusiastic Samantha. We ventured to several hidden gems around the city. Each stop showcased the diverse culinary scene of Colorado Springs, from mouth-watering tacos to artisanal appetizers. The food was not just delicious but also a reflection of the city’s unique cultural influences. Samantha curated the stops perfectly, ensuring we tasted a bit of everything. One of the highlights was discovering hidden art installations throughout the city. Samantha led us through alleys and lesser-known streets, revealing murals and sculptures. Each piece told a story, adding depth to our experience. The blend of food and art made for a wonderfully immersive day.Samantha was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for a unique way to experience Colorado Springs, a food tour with Rocky Mountain Food Tour company is a must. You’ll leave with a full belly and a deeper appreciation for this beautiful city.
Jason the guide was fun and the food was great! Jason had a lot of fun facts about Colorado Springs.
Beth and the tour were very good, history, local info, talking with the owner/rep from the business is a nice touch. The only reason I did not give excellent rating, The Antlers hotel was supposed to validate parking, this did NOT happen. We submitted out car info, the desk person said she would take care of it, we had to pay $31.00 for parking. several calls to the hotel only resulted in "I am not the right person to help you", "let me transfer you", over and over. No call backs, no solution, no satisfaction.
Great food tour lead by Beth. Every food was delicious! I really enjoyed the history shared about Colorado Springs, and attention to detail in architecture and city culture. Would definitely do it again!
We had a wonderful time on the food tour of Downtown Colorado Springs. Our guide, Jason, was knowledgeable and a lot of fun. The food was plentiful and delicious. We learned a lot of interesting facts and saw a variety of art along the way. I would recommend this tour if you have some time and want to tour the charming city!
Our group of 12 had a fun afternoon strolling, eating and learning about many aspects of Colorado Springs’ fascinating history. Our guide, Kathy, was well-informed and entertaining. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone.
Beth was a phenomenal guide! She clearly knew her stuff about Colorado Springs and pointed out so much history that I would have walked right by without her. The food was amazing and the tour was thoughtfully planned. Definitely come hungry and don't make dinner plans.
What a fun tour with cute trivial tidbits and a splash of some amazing food! Jason, our tour guide, was fun, engaging, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend if you want to try various (6 stops!) well-visited places in Colorado Springs. The price was very reasonable despite the quality of food and tastings we received.
Jason was a great host, very engaging and fun- our family had a great time touring around Colorado Springs The food sampling was delicious something for everyone and we had some picky eaters on the tour! The mix of history and local yore was perfect- and we really recommend this experience to anyone looking to learn about great sites and food locally
Excellent experience with our very friendly and knowledgable Guide, Jason. He shared the local history and was great fun. The food was fantastic, starting with the fish tacos and all the way throught to the ice cream at the end. I especially loved the historical stories about Pikes Peak.
Beth was a fantastic tour guide. She provided great history and commentary on local cuisine – lots of great suggestions!
