For a short trip in Colorado we few from Rochester NY to enjoy this wonderful show!
Easy to find the Church and we were the only guests there the entire time during our visit! Tickets for the Beyond Light Show at the International Church of Cannabis were $25, which we bought when we arrived there at the front desk. The light show itself was entertaining and very pretty. The atmosphere of the church was very funky and cute, lots of cool stuff to look at especially in their downstairs arcade area, with cool photo ops and little gift store options. The only thing I would say was that none of the employees gave us any background on what or how the church got started, what its mission is, or any of that sort of thing, although they were welcoming and nice, I thought some general background would have been helpful especially since we mentioned we were first timers to the church and Denver area. Anyway, a cool unique experience and place to visit overall!
A wonderful light show and meditation! So comfortable and relaxing. Would highly recommend!
My second time here 10/10 Museum is so nostalgic The light show is amazing Staff is friendly Location is central
Fantastic meditation and show - beautiful, thought provoking and psychedelic! Downstairs area is full of odd and amusing items to explore as well.
This was a very cool experience! I loved the vibrant paint everywhere! That is and awe-inspiring by itself, let alone the whole light show that comes with it! A very unique experience worth the money. Kid-friendly.
The name "International Church of Cannabis should give you a clue. The church is quite small and nothing fancy, but the light show is enjoyable.
It was a lovely place that was super welcoming and interesting! Great light show and awesome hangout space. Vibes are immaculate!
Best Sunday church around. Brought the whole family.
A truly unique experience in such a vibrant area of Denver. Taking an old rundown building of any kind and returning it to life is something worthy of respect. Turning it into a one of a kind experience is what makes it a work of art. Truly recommend this remarkable and unique meditation, lights and experience to anyone wanting to do something a little different.
Such a beautiful and relaxing experience! I brought my teen boys and it was phenomenal. Really holistic and a great place to help them get in touch with a Peaceful perspective.
This was soo fun!! Would totally recommend to anyone’s of all ages! Very friendly staff! I would totally go again!
Awesome vibes great people light show was underwhelming sorry I came fron new Orleans and felt a bit robbed
I had a great time here. Would definitely recommend.
The Church of Cannabis is a fun diversion for an hour or two. The main feature is a light show, which is well done and features traditional stoner music from those planetarium shows growing up plus some inspirational quotes and thoughts. In the rest of the facility, you'll find a handful of free video and arcade games. I wouldn't say this is a must see attraction, but it's a really good way to fill a couple empty hours in your day. For those put off by the premise of a Cannabis Church, it isn't really a place of worship. It's moreso a soothing sensory experience. Check it out if you have the time.
Relaxing, enjoyable experience with a phenomenal music accompaniment!
The place is cool. Retro games, chill atmosphere and laser light show was a blast from the past. Good music and an hour for the meditation/show and time to take pics. Something different to experience.
Downstairs is a pretty neat place to hang out with random retro games to play. If I lived nearby I would get the membership to hang out. On the other hand, the upstairs light show was a bit of a dud. Don't understand the great reviews. Maybe you needed to be high?
We had such a unique and memorable experience at the International Church of Cannabis in Denver. The moment you walk in, it feels vibrant, creative, and welcoming—unlike anything else in the city. One of the highlights was the interactive “spin the wheel” feature, which made the visit feel playful and engaging. It’s honestly super cute and adds to the overall fun, lighthearted atmosphere of the space. What really stood out is how inclusive it feels. It’s open and enjoyable for adults of all ages, from 18 to 90, and the vibe encourages curiosity, art appreciation, and a sense of community rather than anything intimidating.
We enjoyed the experience! It brought back so many childhood memories with all the memorabilia! Centipede was my favorite video game ever! We also enjoyed the laser show. I would go back and watch it again! I live in Denver and never knew about this place. I will tell my family and friends about it!
Great light show. Was unaware of the cannabis theme. Inappropriate for my 4 year old grandson. Game room was lots of fun before show.
We visited because it was rated so highly and we were curious. The cathedral is in what looks to be a nice historic residential neighborhood. The light and sound meditation experience was amazing and immersive. We loved every minute. It was the soundtrack of our lives and we wished it was longer. We are very glad we made the effort to see this. When you visit be sure to lay down on the bench to get the full benefit of the meditation and music.
All staff were very friendly and professional. The experience was quite amazing and the two of us much enjoyed the meditation session. This event is something everyone should experience, whether alone or with someone.
Wanted to have a day date with my husband for my birthday weekend and still had not checked out this place. Then my best friend made a surprise visit so she tagged along. We browsed around what they have as a souvenir/smoke shop before heading over to the light show. They have it every hour I believe. The light show takes place on the second floor which has a colorful artsy cathedral look to it. The meditation cannot be filmed but it’s very third eye opening. After the light show starts off trippy and with an Alice in wonderland theme of falling down the rabbit hole. It slowly progresses into what I believed to be different trips, with one of them reminiscent of what I’ve been told is very similar to a dmt trip. Very cool experience! Later we headed back down to play some super Mario kart and hang out in the gardens for a bit. Very cool space to hang out with friends or even by yourself as an introspective day. I would love to come back.
The title of the location drew me and it did not disappoint. Such a cool and trippy and fun experience. Go check it out!
loved the show!! really cool vibe
The illest. Must do of you’re in Denver and are not a square
It was absolutely amazing. John was awesome. Beautiful colors and meditation.
Visited the Church of Cannabis for the light show and meditation experience. What a trip! It was like stepping back into the 60's-70's with the decor, games, vibe, etc. We visited the lounge for a short time before being walked upstairs for the meditation/light show. The colors and art were vibrant, playful, and creative, but once the light /music how began, it was so "out of this world" feeling. Little overwhelming for me at first, but I settled in, lay back on a funky pillow, and enjoyed the music and the show thoroughly. We then spent another hour or so playing MarioKart, skeeball, ping pong, and enjoying the huge collection of toys, furniture, and objects that take you back to a wonderful time in history! Felt like I was 17 again. SO MUCH FUN. Note: I see that the age requirements are 4 - ?, but I personally would not bring anyone under 18 to this venue. Huge (and I mean huge), "joint" pillows lying around, and drug-culture throughout the lounge. LOVED this experience!
It was super fun and interesting! The guy at the front desk was friendly, and informative! The arcade and the vibe was awesome, we played Mario kart on the projector and was a cool experience! The music for the show was top-tier, overall the show wasn’t bad, but only wish it was longer for the price we paid! definitely will bring some friends next time! :)
Fun way to spend a night in Denver. Throwback with fun games and the light show in the church was cool. I enjoyed playing Mario Kart in the back room.
Definitely a worthwhile experience. All the staff were so nice and accommodating. The li ch t show was so relaxing and entertaining.
Was definitely a really cool experience! Very trippy and fun gaming/entertainment area. They had so many different activities and fun things to do so definitely recommend bringing a group of like minded ppl! The light show was awesome as well. Very rock and indie centered and we really enjoyed it 🫶🏼
Pretty cool, nice and relaxing. Definitely play games and just chill . Ping pong. Light bright , arcade games. Coloring books etc
Beautiful and great music choices if you're a fan of psychedelic rock. 10/10, would recommend. Comfy cozy environment
The light show and meditation was wonderful. The employee's was very friendly and helpful answering our questions. Thank you for making my daughter 50th birthday memorable.
I thought it was a great light show, super trippy! The host/guy up front was super cool and nice. the whole inside is filled with vintage art, couches. honestly a really must have experience if you are staying in the denver area
I like their lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful with getting tickets. Wasn't planning on it but was fun. Had a lot of cool merch
I want to live here, it’s so cool. 10+ cannabis stars. You should come. Pretty lights and shiny arcade games. Also ET is here. THE ET.
It was super cool! They do a great job. The workers were cheerful and helpful. Fun and relaxing activity.
The show was longer than anticipated, but it was cool to view. The downstairs area was nice and welcoming. The design was very vintage like.
It was amazing experience and loved the atmosphere! Would definitely come again and recommend this to my friends! The light show was super relaxing
Loved the place, it was fun they had lot of arcade games and a nintendo switch. The beyond light show was amazing as well and I would come again
Trippy murals, laser lights, and zero judgment. It’s like if a museum, a meditation, and a Pink Floyd album had a baby. 10/10 would elevate again.
This is a must-see experience. The show starts with meditation which really sets the right tone. We left feeling really relaxed (no, we didn't take any edibles or the like lol).
This place is super cool. As soon as I saw Church of Cannabis, I knew I had to go. I came lunchtime Friday so it was pretty quiet. They have everything you want to do while high. Skeeball, photo ops, cool furniture, video games, origami, funny coloring books, inside, outside, comfy places to sit, cool things to look at. it’s great. The show is also super cool. The chapel is beautiful and very colorful and then they project cool patterns and pictures on it. It’s a guided meditation so it gives you things to think about and it does feel like going to church - just the chillest one you’ve ever been to.
Loved it. Colorful light show and the game room was a blast. Great place to take really fun photos. Would highly recommend this place.
I went to the BEYOND Guided Meditation & Light Show yesterday and honestly… wow. First pleasant surprise: no smell. I’d even brought a full change of clothes (because I hate walking out of places smelling like a bonfire of incense sticks) but didn’t need them, victory! Then the show started. We were told to get comfy, so I stretched out on a church pew, cuddled up with an oversized mushroom teddy, and surrendered to a 360° light show that felt like an hour-long brain massage. Pure peace. Pure calm. Pure “am I floating?” vibes. I can only imagine how wild it must get during consumption hours, this was already magic. The staff? Lovely humans. Would 100% pew-and-shroom again.
The show was very tedious. It is held in the International Church of Cannabis, and I think the creator of the show must have been a major user. I also think that to enjoy the show, you must be high. My wife fell asleep during the show and I couldn't wait for it to end. Save your money!
