The Rathbone Hotel

I’m happy to share our experience. Our room was very comfortable and immaculately clean. The bed was fantastic and I slept really good. We were supplied with an abundance of fresh towels and the shower was luxurious. Our second night we moved rooms. The second room was just as nice. Check in and check out was pleasant and friendly.

We stayed at The Rathbone Hotel for two nights, and overall we were very impressed! The check-in process was unique, or at least unfamiliar to me, as you check in at the bar where you would also order drinks for food. The gentleman at the bar was extremely friendly and professional, and helped me get sorted with the room. The room itself was very clean with high ceilings, and a huge bathroom with a dual vanity. Plenty of modern comforts like wireless charging on a lot of the lamps and a remote controlled curtain for the window. The only thing we disliked was our room placement. We ended up with a first floor room directly behind the bar that you see in the lobby when you first walk in, room 105 I believe. You will definitely hear some noise from the kitchen/bar area at night and early in the morning, especially in the bathroom. Not a deal breaker at all, but if I ever stayed here again, I'd request a room further back or on the second floor. Overall it was an awesome experience, and we would definitely stay here again if we are in town!

My family of 5 got stuck in Montrose after our flight home got cancelled. We scrambled and booked a room at the Rathbone Hotel. We arrived with a mountain of luggage and 3 rowdy children during a busy time at the bar, but the staff greeted us helped us carry all of our luggage in, and were very kind to our exhausted kids. The hospitality was top notch and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The folks at the Rathbone took great care of us in a pinch!

Was in town for a wedding and had an amazing stay here. All the staff we interacted with were lovely, but want to give a specific shoutout to the morning barista Hannah, she was absolutely incredible, friendly, and attentive. Rooms were gorgeous, we had a corner suite which was spacious and comfy, beds were incredibly comfortable. Wish there was a work desk but otherwise had everything we needed. Housekeeping was quick and efficient, just know you have to put the hang tag on the door if you want your room serviced.
