The Maven Hotel At Dairy Block

The staff was so friendly and our room was so nice! It was great to have a little extra space. It was also nice that the hotel gave us a ride. One of the valets, Josh was friendly and the ride was smooth. This really helped make my visit to Denver even more enjoyable. I'll be sure to book here in the future.

The Maven is an excellent hotel in its own way. Its eclectic and welcoming environment is surpassed only by its friendly and helpful staff. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt unique and inviting, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The location was another huge plus. Being within walking distance of so many restaurants, shops, and attractions made exploring Denver incredibly easy. And being right in Dairy Block meant there was always something going on, with plenty of events and activities right outside the hotel. Our balcony overlooked Dairy Block, so we were able to sit outside and see all the action happening below. It was a really cool way to experience the energy of the area without even leaving the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at The Maven. It gave us a great home base for exploring Denver while also making the hotel itself part of the experience. Between the location, atmosphere, and balcony overlooking Dairy Block, it made our trip even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again the next time we're in Denver.

Quick summary - great location, cool and hip hotel. Rooms are meh. Being our first time visiting Denver, thought the location was great. Lots do do right around the hotel. The hotel is literally right on the alley in Dairy Block. Tons of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Easy ubers to all the neighborhoods around. Hotel lobby is great. Nice coffe shop, cool bar and a very nice food court - all right in the hotel. Extra bonus points for the six free happy hour drink tokens + free churros. Very artsy well designed hotel. Only issue - the rooms. We upgraded to a journeyman room. The room looked nothing like the pics. Literally looked like a bare two star hotel room. Called front desk (they told us it was the pics online don't always match reality). They changed our room for a better one. So better, but still the rooms aren't great. I feel like the hotel didn't hire someone to layout and design the rooms. There's no where to put anything (so you just have open luggage to rummage through). There's like a dinky ikea-ish closet and some odd console stand with a TV on it (where you can see all the wires) without any drawers. It's a weirdly laid out room. Overall good stay. Cool hotel but the rooms could be better.

We had an incredible stay at The Maven Hotel! The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location in the Dairy Block made it easy to enjoy everything downtown Denver has to offer. What really put our experience over the top was the service. The complimentary Lyft rides to and from our excursion were an unexpected and incredibly thoughtful touch. It made our day so much easier and showed how much The Maven goes above and beyond for its guests. The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the entire hotel has a fun, unique atmosphere that you don’t get from a typical hotel. We would stay at The Maven again without hesitation. If you’re visiting Denver and want a hotel that combines a great location, excellent service, and some genuinely impressive guest perks, this is the place!
